If they pull an Yhwach, Kaguya or anything like that it would ruin the entire story. They better just give us a Muzan backstory enlightment before he dies - we need to know who, how and why that doctor gave him a demon transformation medicine - and that's it since it's in the final arc and battle.
As far as we know, Nezuko is human again. The only demon that could walk on the sun and achieved Muzan's ambition is now human again. What if Muzan, just as he is about to die, do something that involves her? We have to wait.

Also I don't think Tanjiro need to be the greatest for it to end perfectly. Just like you, I'de be happy to see a different conclusion.
I don't even understand how people are thinking that's a possibility, this manga has literally never even stated being the best demon slayer as a goal for anyone other than human kokushibou lol... the whole focus was on killing muzan after which demon slayers and demons collectively become redundant, thus concluding the story. I feel like everyone's reading way too deep into it: the manga has always had a straightforward, simple premise and aim which it hasn't ever deviated from.

This isn't Naruto or MHA or whatever (bEcOmE hOkAgE!1!), in KNY the protagonist's two absolute goals established throughout the whole series have always been to bring down Muzan and turn Nezuko human - one has been achieved and the other will be fulfilled soon enough. Think about Hantengu (UM4), where Genya wanted to kill him to become a pillar first and Tanjiro just let him because he doesn't care; he doesn't want to be the strongest for the sake of being the best, and wants to work with everyone else for a common goal. Even when they say they want to become a pillar, you can't even call it a goal really as it's for the purpose of being able to kill Muzan.

Given how destroyed the demon slayers are in their current state, even after they defeat muzan, get some bs timeskip, it just wouldn't make any sense that Gotouge would introduce some more powerful demon as the true antagonist or something. Just my two cents.

P.S . For everyone referring to the popularity poll in August as evidence, they could literally just show the results in the issue even after the series has ended, it's in no way a confirmation that the series will continue until then. Also remember that we will 100% have an arc after Muzan showing how everyone is doing, which could lead to spinoffs, etc. Again I wouldn't read so much into it...

The only way muzan can survive this is if he has a behelit hidden somewhere, because his Demon form looks like he just came from berserk

a possibility of a picolo jr event is not far from real. i remember that test tube scene/panel during kizuki meeting. if muzan can cell divide, what if he transplanted his cell into another human? or created an entity from his cells which is sentient in his own way, having his own personality? and then post muzan death he will seek revenge, vowing to annihilate the remaining corps members? and eventually stumble on the place where blue spider lillies grow?

Chapter 205 will complete Vol. 23, and then around 214 Vol. 24.

So either early/mid May or late July/early August (which would coincide with the popularity poll results).

I want the series to end, but I def wouldn't mind things going full Parayste.

Everyone keep saying this is final arc. Yet Gotouge hasn t even said this is final arc despite sharing same magazine as promise neverland which has been confirm final arc.

I think this is end game i agree 90 percent most likely

But please don t turn your opinions into fact like saying its confirm final arc

We arent creator or editor we have no right to say its final arc until confirm by them.

Muzan can possibly survive If he does a reincarnation like king picollo at DBZ

Its not impossible this series talks about reincarnation a lot and stuffs

Seeing Muzan Jr isn t impossible

After seeing all Crazy stuffs upper moons do and now Muzan releasing electric from his body which is crazy.

Its not impossible

It all depends if Gotouge wants to extend series.

First, chill. I'm not saying this is not the final arc, I'm however saying/hoping this isn't the battle conclusion in couple of chapters yet because it's feeble for a conclusion, now that doesn't mean I'm not enjoying it in parts but my standard have been set so high for this manga by this manga. My opinion.

I agree they could just show it but that wouldn't be hype now would it, and like 20+ chapters (and I'm not counting in golden week and other holidays) it seems doable :<

Every chapter lately seams to turn into dull discussion if the manga will end or who will die instead of the actual chapter, so back on topic:
It didn't catch my attention first time bc I'm pillar-centered lately and face chomp, but this is the first time since redlight district the 3 boys fight together, can't wait for full pages it reminds me of that scene against daki on the roof.

Yoo im chill sorry if I came off as aggressive I just get a bit excited lol. All I was really weirded out by was people thinking the future of KNY would be Tanjiro becoming hokage of the Demon Slaying Corps... I realise that Gotouge extending the series is an existing (small) possibility though dw.

And fr I can't wait to see it either, that panel with all three of the bois using their breaths in sync to kill UM6 in RLD is one of my all time favs..
(also "face chomp" LMAO)

Ora, Ora, Ora, Ora, Ora...Ok! Now we're talking! I feel the desperation from the demon Slayers and Muzan.

Muzan has kill no important characters unlike koku,Akaza and Douma. It be very dissapointing he doesn t kill at least two or one at the very least.

Look like manga is ending ironic as Gotouge didn t even confirm this is final arc.

The only way I can see Muzan surviving if he does king picollo did at db original

Hoping Muzan don t actually die yet or survive somehow. So series can extend as many characters still need more timescreen
Wtf no they don’t. Every character has helped take down an upper moon and got backstories. They all had character development too. End this here. This ain’t fairy tail.

Where evidence creator himself/herself say it prove it?

Unless creator say it themself Its isn t confirm.
Maybe the creator excepts the readers to have some common sense and see the obvious signs that the manga is clearly ending.

Remember this extra page from the second novel? this feels relevant

"It feels extremely strange having your head bitten, roughly everyone ends up making this face (nezuko's)"

Thank you for the insight into iguro's situation sensei, I have a lot of questions

i think this arc being "saishusho" (final chapter) as announced in a screenshot on another reddit thread seems to be fine. mangas such as shaman king, rurouni kenshin, etc have already ended their main plot. speaking of plot, this series has two main plots; turning nezuko into a human and defeating muzan. if achieving those is what the "end" means, then continuing the series after the main plot resolves is somewhat off. i guess there might possibly be a sequel/spinofff after post muzan fight. maybe with someone as a new protagonist (since tanjiro mah boi is already done with his quest), in order to cover other subplots.

Chapter has been scanned. We’re just waiting for translations at this point.

Edit: The situation is dire, but we still have Kanao, Giyu, and Himejima that can come in clutch. That’s how I’ll put it until more of us start seeing the scans and talking about that.

They did say it at least once on colour page that this is the final battle. That's pretty much official confirmation for me

The thing is, he'd already aged centuries while fighting the Hashira, and still managed to defeat multiple at a time in a single blow. Yet Tanjirou, moments after, starts reading his attacks and seeing the tentacles on his thighs. It was too sudden, and made it far less coherent. Muzan should have started struggling earlier, and the Hashiras should have been given fatal blows after being unable to react from prior exhaustion as opposed to being completely outclassed in strength.
And seriously, all off paneled?
Think of how it would buuld it up despair if it was something like

Wind Hashira gets fucked - 55 min until dawn
Water gets fucked -54 Minutes
Love and Stone activate their marks and fight with all they got until love is struck down - 50 minutes

It baffles like

Can we stop lamenting every chapter discussion on how things didn't go the way you wanted, would be nice if we actually discussed the chapter for once since the full scans have now been released.

Speaking of which, it feels so good to see both Zenitsu's thunder dragon and Tanjiro's fire dragon again in this chapter.

It's good to see Mitsuri and Sanemi more or less alive and unharmed compared to the rest of the cast.
Since dawn is still not here yet, Muzan still can still fuck things up before that, and that's where I think Giyu, Himejima and Kanao will play their last part in this fight. God, I'm so hyped up about it.

Just read the Korean raws, damn this chapter was fire/beast/thunder breathing heavy af. This chapter alone with the 3 of them throwing breaths at Muzan non stop was so intense, far more intense than the UM6 one. If only we had consecutive chapters like this but I'll take what I can get. Thunder Dragon and Fire Dragon was so lit!
I guess if this does end like this.. I'm a lil disappointed cause we will never see Muzan utilize his full capacity and we will never see Tanjirou go demon mark on him too. A final battle with the main antagonist and main protagonist ending in a way where they never went all out is pretty unique but yeah... not a fan.
