Continuing with Kochikame's 30th anniversary celebrations. A special tribute issue has been published this pass week, with over 80 of todays top mangaka coming together to pay homage to Osamu Akimoto's long, long, looooooonnnnnnnggggggggg standing cop caper manga.

Such names include, Kishimoto, Oda, Togashi, Obata, Kubo, Araki Hirohiko, Takehiko Inoue and many, many more.

Wait, wait, wait, wait!!! Did you say... Togashi?!?! WTF?!?! Isn't he like unable to draw or something? Isn't that why he's in the hiatus? Sorry I went away from the subject, sounds interesting, it's like the tribute to toriyama along time ago, right? the one with mangakas drawing the manga in their style? (I saw some random pictures of mangakas drawing DB some time ago)

Yeh, Togashi is in there too... somehow?!

Also, here's the first part of this special "Kochikame in Another World". Featuring gag comics by Monkey Punch (Lupin III) Saito Takao (Golgo) Yudetamag of Kinnikuman fame and the legendary Akira Toriyama. Also, there's a 9 Page special chapter featuring Ryo-san with Bobobo-bo, Penguin, Taizo & Jaguar characters.

Well, in mangaka that will be nice to mention also there is arakawa hiromu (full metal alchemist) and Inagaki + Murata (ES21)

And how could you forget Oogure Ito?! (J/K, there are so many there), page 23, I guess that usually that girl character doesn't have such big boobs right? Or does she? (and that's what Oogure laugh about there)

And the death note writer + drawer

And konomi togeshi :P

And takahashi kazuki (Yuugiou mangaka)

And hagiwara kazushi (Bastard mangaka)

And Morikawa George (Hajime no Ippo mangaka)

Well, that's all, was kinda nice :P

And on togashi's page, he just says "you're the man" I hope he'll comment on himself too, but he didn't ;;

So Togashi can draw! We still have hope! Yay!!!!

Slam Dunk made a comeback, hajime no ippo was in it, you had steel ball run in it, and one piece, among other things. Some of my favorite series are in there.

It's just not okay for Togashi to just jump in, draw something, say some words and not mention his condition! Damn that Togashi, is he really sick like the rumors say? ;;

The Eyeshield one was nice :P

The DBZ author seems to have lost it :S they don't look like the old DBZ at all

And I wish it had furigana so I could read it....

Okay, official names (although animenewsnetwork doesn't have this thing with the elevator) "Otoko Ippiki Gaki Daisho" that's the things with the brat and another piece called "Kuni ga Moeru" and another called "salary man kentarou" and... There was no toriyama piece, he's a retaired old man :P I even checked, it goes by the japanese ABC (a, i, u, e, o), and there is no Toriyama Oo
