Kurapika was a good fighter even before he learned nen, and he is probably not as skilled as some of the spiders due to the lack of exp, i can agree to that

but its not like hes lacking in skill power or intelligence
Yes he was. During the Hunter Exams Scarlet Eye'd Kurapicka even stands a chance of beating even Killua who was the strongest among'st the group...He's not as skilled as them yet because they are seriously a bad ass group of nen users.

Kurapicka lacks battle experience, life/Profession experience, and Skill because skill is something gained over time..

HOWEVER Kurapicka much like Gon and Killua have been through many life threaten situations during the Hunter exam and most likely before...They have become very very smart and cunning. Which is why Kurapicka is able to develop a Hatsu to straight up entangle the Spiders and murder them. His CJ Hatsu is Perfect for his Revenge but not a perfect Hatsu in theory.

and you can claim togashi is just making him strong all you want, but isnt togashi the same one who made the spiders strong? Wasnt gons defeat of pitou a bit of ass pull?
I can agree that the scarlet eyes are a bit over powered and contain a bit of asspull, but its not the only asspull in this manga
The Spider's were announced as a bad ass group it was only natural for them to be as strong as they are. And honestly they aren't the strongest we've seen but they are a group so it's one of the strongest groups we've seen.

Gon & Killua were never going to be able to beat Pitou and we all knew that. Gon was even about to go Super sayain on Pitou even though that still probably didn't mean much but it was a nice sccene. Uber Gon wasn't your typical Shounen Power up it made sense how he was able to achieve that form...But yes an Asspull but a very slight if you ask me

Scarlet Eye's aren't OP, Kurapicka is in a sense at least in YorkShin he was a bit. With CJ as an Hatsu there's not need for more power, but Togashi goes ahead and gives him and crazy specialization ability that he can use by it's self to kill the spiders. Instead he stacks it on his already super thought out Hatsu.

and i stated several times how uvo should have realized he couldnt use nen after the limo ride when he was wrapped in chain jail
but even durinf the final battle he couldnt figure out why he couldnt "gather any aura" until kurapika broke down his ability for him
Wasn't that because Kurapicka wrapped him and strangled him unconscious......
Also you may not realize until your try and acces your aura..Who knows it could just be a plot hole he's dead anyway.

and unless the other spiders walk around with gyo all the time, they could be wrapped in some chain jail chains (coated with en) before they know it

kurapika is a dangerous matchup for any spider, its not like any of them would stomp him easily like you think
Yes he is, with that CJ he's their poison. And back in YorkShin Arc, Kurapicka through Mystery Nen bonus points could put up a fight vs Phinx, Nobunaga, Feitan all are faster than him and would prevail, they wouldn't not use GYO knowing Uvo was taking down by a conjurer or manipulator.

Remember CJ has a limit on how far it can extend, By the time Kurapicka was in distance they would know. IN is a trick you have to use in battle in conjuction with your Wits, because whatever you were planning can easily be found out by GYO.

Kurapicka and Hisoka so far have displayed perfect usage's of using IN with your Hatsu.

Killua is frightening talented but nobody ever described him as a monster, unlike Gon. He's generally ahead of Gon just because he spent a lot more time honing his skills but skills and experience can't match the 'monster' label. And really Gon is only a monster in sense of output. All his moves in his Uber Gon move are just logical extensions of what he could normally do but with far greater output. Kurapika has combination of moves that shouldn't even be possible by the rules of HXH, on top of having greatly increased output when he's angry.
Exactly to everything you said.

except for Honoing your skills and gathering your experiences is how you become a monster..ex.BBI, Dragon Dive, Kanmaru(It's potential)

In fact Killua is probably the limit of how powerful a 'human' could be in the world of HXH. Even if he realizes all his potential, he'd probably be around the top amongst all the generations of powerful Zs, which means he'd still be a punching bag against someone like Netero. Now that's not something to be ashme of because pretty much any non 'monster' character is a punching bag for Netero but you're still just a glorified punching bag.

By the way I think people get too caught up on the whole restriction thing. The HXH restriction is pretty bogus to begin with. We can be pretty sure without Emperor Time, Kurapika might not even survive a Big Bang (there's no reason to believe a Materialization user could've tanked that straight up, at all). So the fact that his eyes leaves him drained and possibly forced asleep for a while is not an equal exchange. You're talking about an ability that allows him to beat someone who would otherwise easily kill him, so if there's supposed to be an equal drawback he should've died after using Emperor Time. Same thing for Gon. Pitou was going to win that fight 100 times out of 100 times even in greatly distressed mental state, so the fact that Gon can turn into Uber Gon and then wipe the floor with Pitou means he should've died immediately after he won for this to be even balanced, because he killed someone he normally has 0% chance of beating. Netero's hatsu supposed to have a drawback in that he has to pray first, but if not even Mereum can take advantage of that opening, then that's not really a drawback anymore, and should not have offered any increase in power.
I think the Kurta Clan are a sub-species of human they are different from regular humans. Uber Gon and Netero are example's of Humans that go Beyond the natural limiters the human body has.

Kurapicka as a manipulator can't go toe to toe with Uvo at all

Nen has 6 aspects to it and everybody is a natural user of one etc etc.....So once Your naturally far away from Enhancement unless you have mad AOP to attack with, your mad fast, mad skilled in martial arts, or physically superior than your opponent and having similar Ren Lv's You should not engage in long periods close combat because you will lose by deefault of lacking superior battle nen.

Nen is not always be made an Offensive weapon. Assasin's like the Z's, Spiders, Warriors, or Crime fighting hunters usually have an Offensive ability. When it pertains to other Nen users the most prodominate Hunter's they usually have some type of Odd ability like Smoke, PotClean, Shizuki's vaccum.

Once your a Manipulator or Conjurer you should be creating an item or finding something to manipulate that'll put you on an even playing field when fighting an enhancer ,emission, transmuter who can take the upper hand physically due to Nen's category.

You're degrading Killua and making out Gon to have a higher potential because he was called a "monster" by Razor?

If that's all it takes for you, then Seaquant stated that the entire Zoldyck family is filled with "monsters". By YOUR logic, Killua should have more potential than Gon because he's a monster, child of a monster, grandchild of a monster, and a great grandchild of a monster.

And a punching bag for Netero? Killua's great grandfather is suspected to be on par with Netero. So once again, by your logic, Killua should also be a match for Netero later on because he was said to be the most talented Zoldyck.

zeno said himself that he was not on par with netero

but their is nothing to be ashamed of, netero should not be a measuring stick for others, he was the pinnacle of what a human could achieve through training

True that they are equally gifted but Gon has been portrayed as more of a monster than Killua. Other than his exceptional talent, Killua is feared because of his assassin mode, while Gon is crazy in a dangerous situation. What he did against Razor was incredible, wasting his aura after many Rock and deploying even more aura. Killua also shown his innate talent by protecting their formation but it's not as impressive IMO.

Even if Zeno said he is not on par with Netero, he can surely give him a good fight. Maha was probably stronger than Netero according to what he said.

Killua is the most talented Zoldyck ever born in their family, the electric transmutation is also not something which can be learned easily like he did. He will absolutely be the strongest of them at the end of the story. Netero's training was insane but his talent is incomparable to Killua's.

it would take kilua or gon or kurapika several years to surpass neteros ability without making some drastic sacrifice like gon made

with that being said this is a shounen manga and literally ANYTHING is possible so i wouldnt doubt that all three of those guys surpass netero in strength before the end of the manga

and i would love to see maha zoldyk fight

The point I was trying to make is that describing someone as a monster doesn't relate to their talent at all, not always at least. Characters throw that word around all the time, sometimes it's on point(Kite referring to Pitou as a "monster"), sometimes it's just an expression of amazement. In both cases, it has nothing to do with one being more talented than another. Phantron literally made a whole new level of genius considered "monster."

zeno said himself that he was not on par with netero
No, I was referring to Maha.

Of course it will take them several years but Gon and Killua will definitely surpass him. There is also that Netero doesn't know much about the DC . Many miraculous things can happen.

well i would rather them maybe learn a secret about nen and gain power legitimately as opposed to some hacked power upgrade (like gohan having his power unlocked in dragon ball)

either way i agree that they will surpass him, togashi set it up that way on purpose

Um several years? Remember old Netero is only half as strong as he used to be. There's still no way they would be good enough to hold off pre-enlightenment King in a couple years time.

A question about Kurapika for those followig the Manga - when he was offered a seat in the Zodiacs his first response was to threaten the guy and make his rings very clear. Now he's going to the Dark Continent. Unless I'm wrong his limitation was that he can only use it on a Phantom Troupe or he dies, so why was he threatening a random guy with it?

Only Chain Jail is exclusive to the Troupe. He can use all his other chains on anyone.

Kurapicka can ultimately still fight while using Nen W/O his chains he just wouldn't have any special techniques which isn't need for him since he can become a 100% in all fields.

He'd still be a handful. He's an awfully powerful h2h monster in Emperor Time. He has judgment chain to impose conditions on people REMOTELY, he has healing chain which can instantaneously regen a mangled arm (much better than Pitou's Dr. Blythe - hell the Hunter Association should've asked him to heal Gon), Dowsing Chain for ascertaining lies and locating people and God knows what else.

Kurapica can ONLY use H2H, HEALING CHAIN, & DOWSING CHAIN(DEFENSIVELY) to FIGHT ANYBODY other than the SPIDERS. He cannot use CHAIN JAIL on anyone other than SPIDER MEMBERS.

And No his Healing Chain isn't better than Dr.Blythe.
Dr.Blythe does more than just heals, it surgically repairs.

Kurapick'a Chain Heals, Gon needed more than just healing he had an unusual and extreme nen vow that he put onto himself sacrificing his life damn near.

He can use Judgment Chain too. And aren't there a couple of chains with unknown effects? He could also probably just whip the crap out of people with it.

Kurapica's arm was MANGLED by Uvo's Big Bang Impact. It wasn't a dislocated arm. It was a splintered arm - completely obliterated. Yet his Healing Chain regenerated the arm in a quarter of a second. How long did it take for Dr. Blythe to cure Komugi? How long did Dr. Blythe take to heal Pitou's merely dislocated arm?

Kurapick'a Chain Heals, Gon needed more than just healing he had an unusual and extreme nen vow that he put onto himself sacrificing his life damn near.
Well obviously the chain wouldn't reverse the oath but healing his body? It would probably do that no problem.

Not anytime soon, but eventually Gon and Kilua (maybe at the end of the story), I don't think we'll see anyone stronger than the royal guards and Meruem anytime soon, the author went to such lengths to avoid them killing the heroes easily and not die in a ridiculous way (except for Pitou, but Gon paid the price for that, unlike some mangas where you can get massive powerup without problems)

I wonder if there will be sentient beings (humans or something like that) in the dark continent tho

I think Ging might be at Meruem level.. but not post-rose, before the rose. I think the calamities will be on par or stronger than final form Meruem.

I don't think Ging can make Netero look like a bitch like Meruem did... The guy took his attacks without any problems and rendered him unable to continue fighting, I doubt Ging can pull something like that

That fight was simply to show us how strong Meruem is... Without even using any Nen ability mind you
