pages 6-8 shows Kuroro's skill to manipulate others. The skill he used is still unknown but it does not look like he used his specialization skill (book) to move Nobunaga in a fraction of a second because he can only call out one skill at a time.

I would bet my money on Hisoka. WickedNeko and LordUriel have both given the most convincing arguments (IMO), I would also add to this that being good at everything means you're exceptional at nothing. I really doubt Kuroro could for example use Hisoka's ability with such skill as Hisoka himself.
Also, while Hisoka is constantly fighting an seeking more powerful opponents Kuroro is only stealing abilities. While Hisoka is getting stronger with every fight (and knows more and more nen abilities and how to counter them BTW) Kuroro only steals new techniques. Soon he will have so many of these techniques that he won't even know which to choose :P. Also, if he ever lost his book would it mean he would lose all the techniques and thus be practically useless as he is now after Kurapica kicked his butt? BTW, do you think that Kurapica could take Hisoka down if he fitted into his conditions? Personally I doubt that he would humiliate him so much as he did with Kuroro.

^I don't think that is a very strong argument. Take what kuroro did against zeno and silva. He tried to steal their abilities so he did not fight to kill. In that sense, kuroro is a man who held back against zeno and silva and survived which IMHO is quite impressive. Trying to steal abilities in battle is quite hard, much harder than what hisoka does in his fights.

It's been awhile since I read this moment so I'll probably come up with more convincing arguments later but don't forget that Zeno and Silva were also holding back. If they weren't they would just kill him. Also AFAIR they didn't use any weapons against him while Kuroro used a poisoned dagger, which was a bit low in a way (although in real fight everything works as long as it's effective). And as I've written earlier he had his butt kicked by Kurapika and again was spared. As for stealing abilities during battle I don't even remember what was required for him to do it but I doubt it bothered him much in a fight. In addition, as I remember it looked to me that Zeno controlled the fight and even though he was praising Kuroro it looked to me he thought he was superior to him. I seriously doubt they would let alive someone that could pose a threat to his entire family just because they weren't paid. They've had him on the plate, only one push and they could kill him. By letting him alive they've given a message they can kill him whenever and wherever they want.

But all in all that gives us nothing to Hisoka vs. Kuroro potential fight.

Well, Kurapika would kick anyone ass. What use would be the King if his heart would be pierced if he uses nem or physical strength? Kurapika cheated to get that ability. It doesn't count. :p

Kuroro holding his own against Zeno and Silva when they are trying to kill him at the expense of their own life while he is holding back and trying to keep them alive to steal their abilities as he's waiting for Illumi to finish the 10 Godfathers > anything Hisoka has ever done

How did zeno and silva held back? If anything, zeno was ready to have his son attack through him, basically zeno was willing to die in that battle. Perhaps there is more to see from zeno and silva but at the very least zeno was not holding his punches.

Then explain to me why didn't they kill him? They won this fight and it wouldn't make any sense to let him live (especially when we're talking about people that consider killing as nothing), especially since they or their family could be targeted later. Like I said, the message they left was clear: we can kill you any time, anywhere. Right now you can live.

They were pretty clear they did not kill them because the one who was paying them to do so died. There was no such message, they simply do not kill if there is no job involved.

And as I've been writing from the start if they considered him as a threat (i.e. someone stronger than either Zeno or Silva) they would have no reason to spare him. They're not good guys who don't kill because it's not honourable, killing for them is nothing. They've had him on the plate and could kill him if they wanted but ultimately they didn't and risked that Chrollo would want to get revenge on them.

Kuroro isn't that strong if you ask me, he always has two bodyguards near him as Hisoka mentioned, i.e. even with his hundreds of techniques he's afraid that he wouldn't be able to at least escape from his enemy.

Guys i hate to say this but you've been wrong about what hisoka wants in a fight, first hisoka thinks someone is interesting if he has a lot of potential which is exactly why he likes gon ,killua and kuroro who has a book with exillion number of techniques from all types of nen. Thats why hisoka see in him infinite potential , to him there is much to look forward to in a fight with any of those 3.On the other hand people like zeno ,silva ,netero have all reached their max and are going south right now (well zeno and silva , netero kicked the bucket) Which is why hisoka never had interest in Uvo from the start because it is obvious that he reached his maximum potential and can never go beyond that.hisoka himself believes he is the strongest fighter in the world because it is made clear by the author after the fight with kastro and by the authors own words that "hisoka has no master other than himself because he understood that he is the strongest."

As far as who is the strongest of the two well... lets just say it will be a very close and cool fight but i always see hisoka winning in the end (if it has to come to that) and also see another scenario where kurapica interrupts and takes the prediction girl's ability out of kuroros book. All in all because both of them are still important to the story they will both live.

I don't think that is correct. If potential was that important to hisoka then he would not have shown any interest at all in fighting netero so many chapters ago. Hisoka wants to fight strong people, people who can give him the thrill of a battle.

Regardless of everything, the only reason they did not kill him was because there no longer was any money on it. For them killing him simply did not make sense. You make it sound as if kuroro would want revenge or anything of the sort, which given what we know, would be be inconsistent with his character -since his one and only priority is the spider-.

actually hisoka said that the person whom he wanted to fight the most at that place and time was netero.

why?
hisoka is not interested in fighting someone who can't use nen as stated by kurapica himself. Now he wouldn't fight gon and killua because there is much more to expect from them. Netero was the only one over there who could actually use nen aside from the examiners which he did try to pick a fight with but not out of interest but because that they were the only ones available at that time and place. remember when netero showed up he gave up on the examiners and went for netero.

why netero when hes an old man?

because why fight an ant who could use nen when there is a lion next door. even if the examiners were young some were not even worth looking at from his perspective. If you remember the fat guy said that in the last hunter exam hisoka beat an examiner half way to death because he was rude to him and got disqualified because of that.there is also an examiner like the one who passed killua when he took the hunter exam = total idiot if you ask me.

Netero wasn't the only one, there was also Illumi Zoldyck but for some reason he didn't fight him. It looked to me they both respected each other and knew each other for a long time. Probably they wouldn't want to fight unless for a really good reason.

(...) For them killing him simply did not make sense. You make it sound as if kuroro would want revenge or anything of the sort, which given what we know, would be be inconsistent with his character -since his one and only priority is the spider-.
Maybe, do we even know his character to say this for sure? More importantly do Zoldycks know it? As for them not killing him, to me letting him live didn't make sense unless they knew he was no threat to them even if he did go after them.

Zeno is a monster, for example he's an en specialist. According to Nobunaga the best fighters could extend they en to 50 meters, he could do 4 m (about 13 feet) and Zeno could do 300 m!!! That's about a quarter of a mile. And that was only one of his skills. He said it himself, Kuroro would lose of course if they continued fighting, if Kuroro went all out he wouldn't win for sure but from the looks of it he would have higher chances to kill Kuroro than vice versa. And that would be 1 vs. 1, with Silva's help it would be much easier. If Zoldycks weren't retards (and I doubt they are, especially grandpa) they would kill Kuroro unless they knew there was a gap between them. Silva knew that Kuroro got stronger and that he would get stronger again but still they left him be. To me the reason for that is obvious.

As for Hisoka, he was ready to confront all of the members of Ryodan, sth Kuroro probably wouldn't do. Of course it doesn't tell us much, only that he's fearless and can screw with anyone.

What makes you think kuroro wouldn't dare do something like that? Even then, having the common sense of not fighting that many high level people is not a sign of weakness. Also, when was it said zeno was an specialist? I thought he had emission.

What makes me think that? The answer is simple - he always has at least two bodyguards with him if we were to believe Hisoka. That;s why Hisoka didn't have an opportunity to confront him. If he was as fearless as Hisoka he wouldn't be so cautious.
As for Zeno, I meant by that that he's an en expert. If you don't remember then don't argue.
Thanks to Nobunaga we know that:
"En is a technique of major extension of ten and ren. It consists of enlarging, depending on our needs. The aura that normally doesn't take up more than a few centimeters. Thanks to it, I can feel every form of life, every single object that enters the perimeter of my en. It's said that the masters of that technique can increase their en to around 50 m. They are able to feel the motions of a leaf. I can only extend my en to around 4 m."

Zeno activated 100 m circle but he said he could do 300 m if needed.

The Zoaldyecks don't take unnecessary risks. In their own words they won't risk their lives if the payout is not worth it. Even before the fight began they were saying that the money this time really wasn't worth it. They were forced to be ready to sacrifice their lives in order to take Kuroro down and thus complete their mission so they have all the more reason to stop the fight once their employer, the 10 Godfathers, had died.

If anything, the fact that Kuroro was still not fighting serious while Zeno and Silva were risking their lives to kill him indicates that he is probably a notch more powerful. Nothing Hisoka has done so far put him on this sort of level.

If Hisoka can use in a very energy expensive move his whole ren as Bungeegum, he can do "spider web" kindof move and completly block his oponent WHEN being physically attacked... could also possibly block eyes, nose, mouth of non reinforcement people and cut oxygen supply.

this is kinda deadly..

Well, tbh I voted in Hisoka, and now the results of the poll are even, why do I think he'd win?
Not just because he's my favourite char (Lulz) His full power, just as Kororo's is yet to be seen, as said before, he's an important character to the story's development, so we won't see him passing away or just deserting without fighting Gon. Aside from that, he could've killed Kororo back then, but he had the honour to don't do it, normally when a character in a regular manga does that, means he's going to own his opponent in the next battle, it's just a guess. Also don't forget, it's not only Gon and Killua that are training, we might be yet to see a full developed creepy-clown like Hisoka.

Kuroro would win in a fight with Hisoka, but a fight with nen is never absolute.

Hisoka's problem is that like Gon, he's a slow burner. In all his fight he never goes all out right from the start. In fact he enjoys finding out how strong his opponent is or what his opponent's nen is during the fight. And that kind of attitude can get him killed right from the start.

Also Hisoka's nen abilities has no kill potential by themselves, and he riles more on counterattacks or surprise attacks. Both of these attack requires times to set up.

In conclusion, if Kuroro decides to kill Hisoka right from the start and have the right abilities to do so, he'll most likely succeeds. However if the fight drags on then Hisoka's chance at winning increases greatly.
