Well, was probably best I avoided them for some time now. But new pc changed that perhaps...

I just use PayPal to streamline it. Gave me some issues in the beginning though, couldn't use it for anything more than $10 at a time it seemed. But eventually the issue resolved itself. They weren't of much help while it was a problem though.

That didn't work either, and Ive used and still do my PayPal acc multiple times over the year. I also tried 3 different cards from 2 different banks and no luck. They used to work in the past and still do in any other site and Steam insists I should solve it with the banks '-'
Só yeah, gladly it helps me with my wallet se well.

Ah dw dw, in those cases, we use ATM transactions. It's just super annoying to have to leave the house for tho (even tho there's an ATM across the street where I live).

Not holding my breath though. Still waiting (news) for the rumored HBO/Del Toro adaptation of Naoki Urasawas Monster. And HBO/Darren Aronovsky MadAddam-trilogy series adaptation (based on the books of Margaret Atwood of Handmaid's Tale fame).

American Gods was also originally pitched to HBO- but they gave it the red light based on early scripts. Glad it happened eventually though. Also Dark Tower series was long in development at HBO, but eventually got canned. And now we got that horrible looking film adaptation instead.

Oh, some googling tells, that HBO rejected Del Toros pitch for Monster. He apparently now tries to convince other networks.

Then it is just waiting for news on MadAddam and now Watchmen. :oh

Aand now I found out MadAddam is no longer attached to HBO. Still in development and the scripts are forming. And still in Aronovskys care. That's good to hear.

I thought Monster and MaddAddam would have been perfect HBO material.

Could also be a money thing though. Budget-wise those two would have been pretty much so called flagpole-production, but that 'office' is currently pretty much held by Game of Thrones and Westworld.

Monster could have been done pretty low-budget though. Would have just needed very good actors (usually means costly) in the key roles.

Yeah, a show like that would probably need some big names especially to market it and get people interested. :/

As a big Monster fan that would be interesting and I'd definitely watch it fully even if it turned out bad. Unfortunate that it was rejected.

It's Del Toro though. He has tendency to talk about lot of geek friendly projects he wants to do, but only fraction of those ever actually happen.

His show The Strain airs on Spike tv... thats a possibility.They try so hard to keep up with AMC.
