At some point you need to read between the lines. Jura Larcade and Age Seal were hyped a lot, but none of these statements were true in the end. The fact that Irene says nobody can stop her meteor only proves that Erza's feat is amazing. It doesn't prove at all that she's the only one capable of that feat.
Judging by how Jellal's Sema went down, and Erza's fear of what would happen should it make it to the ground, its pretty damn similar.

Not really, i still have character statements above the statement of a fan, as should anyone. However like i said before, some statements can be taken more seriously than others, Hyperbole and exaggeration exist, as do boasting & ridicule. Am i to take what a bad guy says about how weak a good guys is literally just cause he said it? People with different opinions will interpret the meaning or the validity of statements differently. However I as a general rule have character given explanations or general statements without emotion as hard fact. But even with that i might deviate if something just doesnt seem right to me.

Erza beats Laxus.

His nuke is featless
And all other attacks werent effective against wahl
So basically he is featless other than red lightening.
Compare red lightening to erza pof slash is a no brainer.

And possibilty of wahl being super weak to red lightening
Leaves a laxus far behind erza in attack power.

He also doesnt have much speed feat. He blitz wahl in lb

Red lightening being lightening that surpasses lightening feels like his strongest move.
If we are to believe wahl etherion can kill laxus. Then it can kill wahl for sure (around red lightening tier). Wahl etherion will be far below irene top tier move. And erzs over powered that with pof.
To compare those two we must compare their role in story. Erza was top tier good character, better than Natsu till last timeskip. And Laxus was finnal boss in arc tier, way beyond Erza. Lets assume outside Natsu and Gray due to some powerups all the rest were just training. So all of them must have grown equially and Laxus is still above Erza.

While I do agree that Laxus is definetly stronger than Erza, I must disagree with your logic. Ever since the timeskip, stuff changed a lot. Lucy and Wendy are now a lot stronger compared to other guildmates. Gajeel on the other hand, is weaker compared to Natsu for example. Laxus is now super close to Gildarts, even though before 2nd Origin he was leagues below. The list can go on. As timeskips come, rankings change.
Having said all that, there is no way Laxus is below Erza. He is higher in every stat except endurance. I'm not trying tp shit on Erza, because contrary to many right now, I still enjoy her a lot as a character, same as Natsu(whom people also hate right now).

You have yet to say why laxus attack power is twice as much as erza with only one attack under laxus belt which has any feats.
You have any evidence for why laxus is faster than erza.
