Fantasy Laxus Dreyar vs Erza Scarlet

Changed my vote to Erza. Erza No-diffs

I finally voted and chose everyone's truly the one and only Erza with no-diffs

Don't know why everybody assumes Erza got stronger over the last few chapters... The explanation is simple, really: It wasn't Erza that drastically improved.

Acnologia was just being a mindless fool who was stupid from the start of the arc. Especially ever since Acnologia got hit by Christina and started chasing the damn airship...

I don't attribute anything to power in recent events, if I'm giving my honest opinion.

It really all comes down to plain old logic and common sense..

I remember how the injuries received from Ajeel a day or two earlier left Erza so weak she couldnt even take a combination of Azuma, Ikaruga and Kyoka in a head on fight. Yet now, after having all her bones broken a few hours ago, Erza is still somehow capable of shooting Acnologia out of the sky. Though i guess i shouldnt be surprised, Acnologia isnt even fast enough to catch Rufus

Though its funny how Erza was willing to sit back and watch Jellal kill himself trying to get Acno through the Timelapse when she couldve easily done it from a distance with sword spam. Power level consistency at its finest, good old Plotsu and Plotza

Anyway, Erza>Laxus, or not, who cares anymore.

Marin prevented Erza from using Ajeel's weakness against him, she couldnt dodge or fight through that attack in Blackwing. Besides Eileen broke all her freakin bones, you dont consider that worse than what Ajeel did? Dont want to get into a long argument so i wont debate your answer, but i'd honestly like to know.

Whether Laxus' hype is hot air or not, that's none of my concern. But Erza certainly did not improve at all in recent chapters, and that's my point.

My ranking of Erza and Laxus are still the same, even after the so-called "recent feats".

In my opinion, Acnologia is pretty much fodder tier (in terms of intelligence). After he chased Christina and got tricked into the time-lapse, I no longer consider "beating Acnologia" a great feat anymore.



And Erza didn't even come close to doing that. She simply knocked him around - a feat already achieved by Jellal and Christina in previous chapters.

The only reason why Erza was even able to hit Acnologia in the first place is because Acnologia's Dragon Body is currently mindless and acting off of pure instincts. It's not hard to hit somebody with zero intelligence, literally.

Laxus, on the other hand, is facing somebody who is actually aware of his surroundings.

The two situations aren't comparable, so as far as I'm concerned, there has been no change in feats regarding the recent chapters.

Laxus still wins. This is the same situation as Jellal vs Human Acno, they both blew Acno back and done no damage.

Laxus is superior, Erza is inferior. Erza had none magic attack to hit Achnologia, thats all. Erza is strong but vs Laxus I cant see her victorious unless she has magic immunity like Achnologia.

Well he actually has no scalable feat. Nuke remains featless, other attacks were rendered useless because of wahl immunity. He only has red lightening, an attack full with pof and possible wahl weakness.
Its just not scalable.
Speed feat wise we know his lb is above erza causal armor. But not above souring armor or red pants. You just cant say it is.

You.and most people scaled him on nuke hype or ignored his pof in red lightening. Or made predictions that he would be ten times stronger than his mbp form.
Non of them are shown in the manga.

Infact we barely see any difference at this point between him and cobra.
He is strong. Sure. But not exceptionally strong as many hoped.

Meanwhile erza portrayal kepts on growing.
August and irene were said to be the strongest.
And they fought strongest fairy along with some help.
Pof erza overpowered strongest springgan top tier attack. She was fast enough to stand and fight against the strongest.
And now aconologia, powered up by that time thing, still couldnt tank her non ds move and was blasted out of the sky.

Unless you are ready to throw the entire.manga on its head
You have to.believe
Erza deus sema slash > laxus red lightening
Irene speed >> wahl speed

People like to use ajeel fight to dehype erza. That fight basically tells you nothing. Ajeel is not a straight up fighter like erza. A similiar analogy though a little extreme would be dimeria vs laxus fight to judge laxus strength. Assume time stop works on him, dimeria one shots him. Because laxus has no way to.counter her magic with his own. His magic just doesnt work like that.
Same way, even if erza could use etherion cannon like wahl, it would nothing in sand world. Her magic is just.not meant to deal with such huge aoe.

As for dragon aconologia not being aware. That is irrelevant, we are not scaling speed. We are measuring strength. Aconologia was blown out of the sky. And yes this aconologia is.as boosted as human aconologia.is.
Human.aconologia didnt even.move from laxus.attack

And no this.is not the same acono who got stalled by irene or jellal.
He is much more boosted.
So unless you thing
Human irene > 6 ds and injured natsu
Because aconologia was much more impressed by irene than these ds other than natsu of course.
Then we cant use non.boosted acono here

But that's how it pretty much was with her fight with Ajeel. Many keep dehyping her just because Lisanna and Elfman defeated him while she needed outside help to win which makes them quick to say they're superior to her when they had advantages to beat him more so than Erza did.
