Canon Laxus vs Mystogan

Scenario
During the Laxus vs Mystogan fight after Laxus blows his mask off to expose him to Erza Mystogan decides to continue the fight to attempt to defeat Laxus, thus instead of leaving he convinces Erza and Natsu to leave and take out the Thunder Palace. Mystogan wanting to know what Laxus knows about him tries his hand at defeating him.

I consider Laxus quite above Mistogan in raw power, but I give Mystogan the win here, he should have some useful magic

Agree for the power's statements. For me, Laxus has more raw power and Mystogan seemed to be more a versatile's fighter, like Erza in some way. But, while Erza is a tank and also physical character like also Laxus, Mystogan, like Jellal, is not. Laxus can take it in a long fight, as more endurance and tank character. But yeah, Mystogan had clearly great powers so high diff here.

While the battle of fairy tail showed that all three s class mages (who faught in the church) were around eachother but sadly mystogan has two things going against him.
1) unlike laxus vs erza (where both seems equal), mystogan actually lost the round against laxus. Though laxus and mystogan actually had a slightly longer fight than laxus and erza.
2) unlike laxus and erza, mystogan has no feats of uping his game. Mystogan just has no feats better than his fight against laxus. Meanwhile laxus had ds and erza had her red pants

So just going by portrayal mystogan gives a good fight but loses to laxus. High diff maybe

Sorry cant show the scan. I am on my phone. But you already seen it. One page or two after the scan you provided. Laxus tries to electrocute erza while holding her feat. It has no effect on erza because she can requip faster than laxus lightning travels. That is what you call blocking it, no?
