I don't know how you could disagree with a possibility. I don't really think it's like that, but it would be cool. And Oda is creative enough for that. But nevermind, I don't get the bolded part. How would attaining a unique ability make reaching Raftel any easier for any of the Sovereign users? (unless someone develops the ability of satellite navigation throuh Sovereign Haki)
Your first question, because i like logic above everything else. Your second question, because only one peaceful king have reached it, so more than just a king stepping on isn't necessary, it has to be one with the power of hearing.

Though, the possibility is interesting if the efects are shown in the receptor of the Haoshoku, just like Lord Ray said, i can imagine a Logia losing his power for a bit with a willpower emission for example.

Usopp is probably the only other crewmember that will have conqueror's haki. Afterall, he's Sogeking. Just like Rayleigh was the dark king.

Ok so i'm gonna take that as a joke 'cause there's no way that can happen :) CoQ is the haki of the chosen ones , the people that are meant to lead, not for weaklings and weak willed people such as Usopp

I'm hoping that was a joke. It would be kind of silly if Usopp, of all characters, discovered the ability. Zoro I fully expect to awaken conqueror's haki. If we are making comparisons to Rayleigh, Zoro also is the first mate, and also a swordsman.

Don´t think that anyone besides Luffy will have CoC in the SHs, not even Zoro.

Zoro awakening CoC would potentially be an epic scene. Besides, Roger's former First Mate is a CoC user. His successor's First Mate should also be a CoC user.

Why?

Why what? If it's why that would be epic, there are no arguments about it: or you see it as an epic scene or you don't. It's completely personal, not a matter of agreement. Now, I would find it epic, and I'm wishing for him and other members of the crew to show they have CoC.
If it's why the first mate of Roger's successor would have to have CoC, yes, I see no reasons, and the analogic argument doesn't work here. But, even with out reason it would be nice :-)

It is not about whether it would be epic or not, it is a subjective matter after all (i would not really care that much for it), i was referring to his statement "his successor´s first mate should also be a CoC user". I never liked claims that argue with similarities to other characters, in this case Zoro- Rayleigh. Yes, they are the first mate of their respective captains (in the sense of the first companion), they both have a scar on one eye and both use a sword, that´s it. They have completely different personalities, Rayleigh was Vice Captain while the SHs does not have one. Furthermore, we have to think about what it would entail Zoro awakening and controlling CoC. He pretty much would do during his travel and adventure what Luffy learned in those 2 years with one of the best teachers. Also, i would imagine that at least 2 SHs having CoC would result in an overexploitation.

I see what you mean: to be a good plot, Zoro won't have to be able to do what Rayleigh was... I agree.

Also, in the end, it would be epic that CoC were more than a flanboyant tag and a power good to make fooders faint. That's something that we still ignore.

Of course, if it turns out that CoC can entail different abilities for the respective users, then i would not have a problem with Zoro or even Sanji awakening it. The manifestation of Zoro´s killing intent would be a good choice for example (though some argue that Asura already is that ability). Still, there is no obvious justification or reason why he should get it, that´s why i asked "why".

What justification is needed? A character of Zoro's stature awakening CoC would not be a plothole. Of the eleven Supernova, he was one of only two who is not a captain. At Thriller Bark he absorbed all of Luffy's suffering and lived. He is not meant to be a rank and file pirate, but one who will emerge as a legend in his own right. Conqueror's haki would be character appropriate. Conqueror's haki is a manifestation of a characters resolve (or will power, or inner strength. Different ways of expressing the same thing). By absorbing all of Luffy's suffering at Thriller Bark, Zoro proved his resolve is equal to that of Luffy's.

I believe CoC is the ability to release your spirit(=willpower) into (an)other being(s). It most likely requires desire and ambition, which may make it available on an inspired basis only. Those who possess it are charismatic, maybe even in unique ways. I suspect Luffy's influence on animals has something to do with that. It can incapacitate those who lack enough determination within a range, unless they possess Haki. Nobody who was immune to it has shown visible signs of feeling it. I can't say there's been anything other than those that I could regard as CoC.

The basics of conqueror's haki have already been explained, by Rayleigh, while training Luffy. http://www.batoto.net/read/_/13916/one-piece_ch597_by_mangarule/15

Luffy's ability to hear the Sea King is most likely related to "hearing the voice of all things", a trait only Roger is known to have had. It is very unlikely this ability is even remotely related to haki. Haki is an expression of the users inner strength, an imposition of their will on the world. Hearing the voice of all things is the opposite, an act of ultimate humility; stopping and listening to the will of the those around you, even those things that have no conventional voice. Luffy's ability to hear animals more likely stems from the "Will of the D", but even that much is debatable.

Nobody who was immune to it has shown visible signs of feeling it. I can't say there's been anything other than those that I could regard as CoC.
That is not true. The Heart Pirates commented on the effect of Rayleigh's haki, even though it did not knock them out. http://www.mangahere.com/manga/one_piece/v52/c504/13.html

Haoushoku is likely to have different kinds of powers. Fainting is simply the effect of intimidation on weak ones, and intimidation is likely to affect strong-willed people in a different way even if they don't lose consciousness.
I'm sure an Haoushoku user could make use of it against a very strong opponent.
It's possible, but I think it's just as likely that CoC is more of a barometer - it's auspicious. You can't conquer the world with CoC, but the fact that you've got it is a pretty good sign that you could conquer the world anyway.

I've been thinking that Conqueror's haki does indeed have use against more powerful opponents. I noticed how everybody at Marineford from Sengoku to Whitebeard, Aokiji, and Ivankov looked shocked and disturbed when Luffy used it. It may very well be because they were just surprised by it and didn't expect it from Luffy, but the looks on Sengoku's and Whitebeard's faces (at least to me) shows more apprehension than surprise.

In my opinion, if someone uses Conqueror's Haki in the middle of a battle against a strong opponent, it may be able to shock their opponent or disturb their flow of concentration long enough to catch an opening to attack.

This makes sense as possible, but "briefly disturb your opponent's concentration" is a pretty boring power to be that alarmed by. Certainly less of a big deal than any devil fruit we've ever seen.

You dash my point, sir. But it does make me wonder if those who showed no problems felt anything.

I recall the explanation, but I feel like you're forgetting about the Color of Observation, which is internal Haki. I suspect it mostly identifies presence and determined intent, but it's totally possible Luffy's ability to "hear the voice of things" is an aspect of it. That may even be why his CoC is so powerful to begin with. The thing about what we know of Haki right now is that we have no idea how much one color complements another.

You misunderstood me. I wasn't talking about his ability to understand them, but about his ability to make them submissive. Like with the animals on the island where he trained and with the kraken. Though these might just be a result of him asserting his combat dominance, it may also be a sign of CoC. This also makes me wonder about Shirohoshi's ability and whether it is a form of CoC.

The Will of D could be so many things that all we can do is guess what it relates to, so I try to keep all of those in mind and be patient. I don't want to narrow my perspective to the concept.

It may be boring in the context of a shounen manga :) but in the heat of battle, a moment's hesitation can be the difference between victory and defeat. Marco and Jozu taking damage during the marineford war because of being distracted are just a couple of examples.

More specifically, I was talking about something like what happened between Zori and Monet when Monet was so shaken up that she couldn't move or use any ability (even if that probably wasn't conqueror's haki).

Again, I'm not saying it's useless, but if you're cataloging Luffy's ability and see:

1. Can momentarily cause opponents to lose their concentration.
2. Can effortlessly knock a bunch of nobodies unconscious.
3. Can turn his strikes giant and/or gain superspeed via his rubber body.
4. Can punch you from 100 feet away.
5. Immune to bullets.

Is #1 really the one you're going to be scared of? That's not why Aokiji was startled, and I don't think #2 was either. It has either some utility we haven't seen yet (maybe related to Sea Kings, ancient weapons, lost history, poneglyphs, etc.), or it's just a portent of things to come.
