This year I got to see really cool bands and will get to see a few more in november and october.

The most remarkable were : Megadeth, Motorhead, Slash, Ramstein.

And I still have to see Guns N' Roses and Alice Cooper.

I lost a chance to go to mayhem fest in the US because I couldn't get my papers ready on time. Wich is a shame since I had backstage pass (having contacts on the inside is awesome )

I've personally been in a more Industrial mood at the moment. Just got into two new (old but new to me) bands. Been listening to Powerman 5000 and Dope. Two pretty good Industrial Metal bands.

Thats awesome Hyst! I saw slipknot back in 2008 at the first ever Rockstar Mayhem festival. Absolutely crazy stage presence. They aren't one of my MOST favorite bands but I do enjoy them and I have to say they perform amazingly.

I've heard that one before Thorn . Its not THAT great but its a good laugh thats for sure.

Now here is one that I REALLY think is good. They almost remind me of A Day To Remember in their music style but they make a song that I normally hate, quite enjoyable.

Honestly I think that rap diverges too much from rock so things like that shouldn't happen. There should be a line between what should be inducted and what shoudn't.

I dunno why but I've been in a St. Anger mood lately from Metallica. I know most people hate it but I honestly never did. Its definitely a different sound from the standard Metallica but for the style that the album is I actually enjoy it a lot. I find the vocals for the whole album to be one of the best parts to it. I love The Unnamed Feeling. Its just a really strong song IMO and I can listen to it for hours. .

O man, so much Nostalgia. Believe it or not St. Anger was my first Metallica album because I was just getting into metal on my own and I had seen the St. Anger music video on tv and I liked the sound. I had no idea how huge Metallica actually was at that point . So I have a natural tendency to like this album because I got my first impression ever of Metallica from it. And like I said earlier I honestly like it. Its not the best album but its one I really do enjoy.

everyone go acquire the Silent Hill 2 OST, its surprisingly metal and awesome. Promise is a superb song, the entire thing is just really good. If I'm not mistaken, I remember that this OST inspired a bunch of other bands too

Why type of metal to be exact? I am a bit curious now that you mention it but I'm curious about the specifics of metal it contains .

Speaking of OST's that are metal. One of my favorites would have to be the Original Resident Evil OST which has an AMAZING instrumental track by Marilyn Manson called Seizure of Power. Its an absolutely epic Industrial Metal song. I can headbang to this thing for hours. Please check it out especially if you like really heavy music and Industrial Metal .

hmmm I guess it'd be Atmospheric Folk/Dark Metal. Kinda similar to Agalloch if you've ever heard of them (awesome band btw).

I'm not a big fan of industrial metal, but there are always exceptions. That track you posted was probably the best thing about the Resident Evil movie . Speaking of Marilyn Manson, If I Was Your Vampire is one of my favorite songs by him. His songs are a lot better without any vocals tbqh lol

Ahhh thats interesting. I'm trying to picture that type of music in a movie, you really don't see that too much. If I get the chance I will check out some tracks out of sheer curiosity, although Folk isn't my style too much.

Yea that track by him is awesome. He usually dishes out some amazing instrumental songs and I'd agree that there are times industrial is more preferable with him, although for that particular song I don't mind having it either way (vocals or instrumental.) I like Manson, not EVERYTHING by him but when I'm in the mood for him I'll gladly listen to him.
