I‘ve been told that several people are planning to host games, so to avoid any problems like people cutting into each other‘s game signups and other things we may need a schedule of games.
For anyone who plans to host a game, you can either write in this thread for what month/day you‘re planning a game or edit it in the schedule yourself if you can.
Note that there‘s no limit to how many games can be had per month, but try not to have 2 games running at the same time.
Sign-ups!
To everyone who usually plays MG or those that don‘t want to miss signups, we‘re testing a new way to alert everyone to a new game instead of mass tags before each game.
All you have to do is go to>>this thread<<and press Watch on the top corner of the thread. I or a host will post there and notify everyone like this whenever a new game starts.
While hosting overall isn't necessarily hard, it's very easy to mess things up as we have seen plenty of times already. This naturally happens more often with newer hosts.
In order to get these new hosts familiar with how the game works behind the scenes and make it a smoother experience for everyone (no one wants a cancelled game!), we are establishing these sets of rules that follow the methods that have been used in the last 50 games:
-If it's your first time hosting, it's MANDATORY to have the help of someone that has hosted before. As long as they aren't banned, it doesn't matter if this person hosted twenty times or just once. This experienced host will be the "Main Host", while the new one assumes the role of "co-host".
-Tasks will be split in a rather equal manner so that the Main Host can keep things in check while the Co-host gets hands-on experience to learn properly.
-The Main Host has the final say when it comes to decisions (ideally, this won't need to be enforced heavily, it's mostly to avoid possible issues).
Once the game is over, the co-host can host on their own and even take the role of "experienced host" for a new host in need!
People killed you because he said you were guilty ... he only posted the pms to compare the style Evil wrote the pm so we could see if lawlett was lying or not
and did you also consider in your analysis that Evil possibly does not always sticks to the role play, due to its time consumption, and that he could possibly not move all of his plans for two weeks aside to make the perfect game for Kat and co?
well, you should have. but instead you set up that poor buddy, who has to skip the next game.

Again it was not my idea ... I didn't start that but once Farfalla wrote it then I thought it was okay so I joined ... So please dont blame me for everything now. Besides I started suspecting him because of sth else and would go for him even if there was no pm
i'm off of duty for an uncertain time, you're better off organizing one without me.
until i can be 100 per cent certain, i can dedicate this time over a timespan of at least two weeks straight, due to how horribly this game host-wise went, which i cant see hppening any soon right now

Too bad nobody got 100 points although i think we should have given people 50 points for a Mafia Boss/Third roll kill, then it would have been more liekly to get 100 points. If a townie would have gotten close to 100, the mafias would have simply killed him/her. If a mafia got to it and not revive somebody people would have questioned his/her sanity.
Maybe we can get another theme-specific thingie for the next game? For example, in a Gintama based game we could have a new role called "Shogun/Sho-chan" or make two role one being the SHOGUUUUUN and the other Sho-chan and as long as that role/one of those two roles stay alive till the draw between mafia and townies happens Townies win despite the draw with the Mafia. And only the Bodyguard knows who Sho-chan/shogun so that Sho-chan has a protector sort of in the night.
Or in a HxH game we could have a tournament going on in the days between all players. Like with a 18 person match we have 9 matches on day 1, the winners advance to the next round on day 2, if they all survive that night that is, and so on till the final on uhm, 4-5 on day 3, 2 on day 4, till day 4 (maybe we need more players so that the tournament takes 5 days)and the winner gets something special. I dunno maybe lynch or night kill immunity or a weapon to kill somebody or to kill two people at once. It could be played based on some dice rolls or all player avatars got some stats I dunno. This way though townies might wanna protect the townies in this tournament to be the winner whereas Mafia wants their members to win and advance and thus try to kill advancing townies instead of tournmanet losing members which might have been dets or docs.
I personally have three players I liked a lot in this game, specially one, three good surprises I would say, but I'll go back to that once the game ends.
