That's just a fabricated stoy for a character and a game who don't even have a full-fledged story. For that she needs to depend on comics and short films outside of the very game where she belongs. Weak.

Aqua has been in several games over the years and has fantastic character development through those, every time when you think she's fucking perfect, she grows even more and gets even more perfect! Without the outside help of stories in other formats and several different authors.
