Is better then Mercy.
Not only is she a Keyblade Master, who plays a huge role in the current events of the events of KH which isn't confusing at all, you just need to think about it instead of having a MOBA character that has what a animated short and a comic WHICH IS GENERIC TOO AT THAT(all MOBA games do this so talk about originality), OW is a fail(look at the playerbase), Aqua's also well developed from when she's introduced, she's a true saint that cares for her friends whom she cares for like family. She's willingly to go out her way to protect those she loves even it means sacrificing herself which she did, what has Mercy done, other then being a nurse who clearly isn't developed we don't see how she got to where she is, what DRIVES her actions etc., how she plays a role in this lore of OW.
While does use magic in her play style, it's unique at least. You start at level 1 and gain so many different abilities along the way, YOU GET TO go about how you want to play with different ways to tackle bosses etc. where as with Mercy it's literally a brain dead play style, you go in boost people and heal people, charge up your ult and rez ppl just like any other healer in any game also Mercy's skins are all fanservice to appease players.
So yeah I can come up with alot more reasons but I'm limiting myself to just 3 things, Lore, Personality and Gameplay.

Instead it's all this vague subjective praise that means nothing to somebody that hasn't and won't play Kingdom Hearts.
Damnit people! I have no context for any of that. That stuff tells me literally nothing. Who is she? What does she do? What is her goal? What has she done to reach that goal? What achievements does she have? Is there perhaps some sexy fanart of her(instead of all this barbie doll looking CG)?

That's the whole problem with this event in the first place, people vote for every single reason but "best wife material". They vote for the franchises, they vote for the members nominating, they vote for the posted pics and fanart.

Just because she has sexy outfits does not make her a whore. She is a better role model for women because she not only studied her ass to become a doctor, she made it to the head of surgery. Overwatch made her head of a department. In this day and age where men are leading, it’s great to see a woman as a leader. This is a more realistic story where people can identify than any story Kingdom Hearts can create.That's the whole problem with this event in the first place, people vote for every single reason but "best wife material". You can describe the characters in lenghts and detail, but when the opponent has some random fanart which doesn't even accurately represent the character and why she was nominated, it doesn't matter.
@Reebi is doing her best, already posting several pictures. This time however, that does actually represent the character. Seeing as the source for the character doesn't have a story, and all they do with the character is give her boner-inducing costumes, even using her for promotional purposes to get some easy bucks.
Aqua is an actually well-written character, throughout the franchise ever since she disappeared. She's a role-model for (young) girls out there with her strength, bravery, independence and more. But, as @Asako said earlier, @Sky is the one who nominated her, and we're not here to do Sky's work. We're just pointing out the better future wife. If I wanted to campaign I would've nominated her (or another character) myself.
A shell of a woman who uses her body for financial gains, or the actual three-dimensional character who has every trait in a woman that you'd want.
It would be a more realistic story, yes, if it didn't involve the science-fantasy genre and time the game places in.
Her biography is better than Aqua’s. I skipped through reading it because it was boring and generic RPG. She also has interactions with characters in game. When she heals Brigette, she says “taking care of you, Brigette”, which she doesn’t say for others because Brigette is Torb’s daughter and Mercy is like a big sister to her. She even has sass and asks Reaper what’s wrong with him and tells McCree smoking is bad for his health.
