SD: Uh, you'll kind of have immunity to the commandments and curses? Like you can still be hurt by them, and won't be able to escape anything that matters without the help of someone else....But yeah it's a great gift right?

I'm surprised Merlin didn't join the demons just to spite the SD for giving her so little. Seriously the difference in what was give makes her not choosing absurd.

The bit about her immunity not working was played out to be on account of her having forgotten about it. She did ultimately break out of the commandment and in theory no commandment or demon curse should work on her at all at this point. And immunity to goddess brainwashing is incredibly useful as far as I can tell. Merlin basically knows the entire demon world curse arsenal and has immunity to it... It's not an immunity, but a resistance that the Supreme Goddess gave to Merlin.

She can break curses and commandments, but she is still vulnerable to their effects. As seen by her being cursed by Zeldris, that Elizabeth had to break, or a period of time were she was petrified.

Immunity doesn't need activation like a resistance, so even if Merlin forgot, the immunity would've worked, but it didn't because she has a resistance instead.

Kind of OP or UP in some circumstances. If she got hit by a curse or piety (example) then she would be helpless to break it, but if the entirety of Liones got hit by piety, then she could break everyone under it.

It shouldn't be, the Gods are equal to each other and an immunity is absolute.

The AA's have immunity, therefore, not even the DK can curse them.

Merlin has immunity from all Goddess brainwashing, therefore not even the Supreme Goddess can touch her in that aspect.

Okay, probably about to get mocked. But, am I the only one who thinks that Merlin looks like a female Zeref sometimes?

Merlin doesnt grope up Arthur or Escanor. Isnt it natural that a mage who lived for 3000 years could compete with the commandments? Why is it that Mel has more power with every single reveal and why didnt he use such power to save himself from the DK? Merlin divulges information when its needed to help. Meliodas keeps crucial information like the truth commandment from Merlin for 3000 years when their whole purpose was to defeat them?

Merlin’s need to turn everyone and everything into a science experiment is extremely creepy. Meliodas gropes one person and it’s the girl he’s been in love with for 3000 years. I could understand if it was unwanted contact but it’s not so in context it’s not as creepy.And its an asspull because she just forgot. And Meliodas has asspull power ups because he’s the protagonist. I’m not saying it’s right but that’s the explanation. Merlin is also just as bad when it comes to divulging information. She knew just about everything Meliodas did.

In many instances she has been shocked, embarassed and asked him meekly to stop in which cases he continued to grope her up. It is borderline rape, because she doesnt remember. The asspull power up still took her months to accomplish. She remembered, then still ha to experiment for months before she could free herself. It wasnt an instant remember then unfreeze.

Everyone loves to bring up Meliodas neglecting to explain the Commandments but the reality of the situation is didn’t matter. No knowledge would have made them stand a chance against the Commandments. Any one Commandment could have killed at least 5 sins regardless of how much Meliodas told them. It would have made no difference. If she knew she wouldn’t have lied and she would have been cut down like the others. Meliodas explains his plans to the group too. He admittedly doesn’t equip them with any knowledge. But outside of the Commandments Merlin knew everything else and hasn’t attempted to explain a thing. Merlin’s not even her name.
