I forgot she plays that pokemon showdown game a lot.. so she probably knows a lot of pokemon. '-'

Though her game play is pretty bad. lost to me the first time I played it.

I've been playing since Pokemon Red (was my first video game) and I was in the competitive scene until Gen 7 when I lost interest for it.

I probably don't even know any pokemon from Gen 2.

I was a pretty hardcore player of Red/Yellow/Gold/Silver on GBC though.

Getting unli master balls and rare candy on Pokemon Red.

not to mention pokemons over lvl 99(or was the max lvl 100? )

like lvl 255 Snorlax!

Strange, can FDP or BIPP explain why they went with Cherrim? If you thought of cherries then the unevolved cherry should've been on everyone's mind. Cate guessing Squirtle when the rules said no starter pokemon allowed in the pictures? I have no clue how Doge came up with Ampharos though. Surprising that nobody went with Lickitung for the memes.

Those that went with Jangmo-o must've googled "Dio pokemon" And we were actually considering to have it be Ditto at some point so Doge was very close in that regard, Mimikyu is probably the result of a very similar train of thought too.

@GrySun Have to say the D1O one was a really clever way to make that JoJo related. Knew those numbers were somehow the hint.. just couldn't figure out how (I blame the fact that this is the first time I hear of the Pokémon). We were between Ditto/Zoroark/Mimikyu for that one. Zimb figured out (and Ust further confirmed) the Cherubi one though.

It was @Vandred who came up with the numbers as hints for the Dio one. It was still really hard, only true Laytons would've figured that one out. Perhaps you really would've figured it out if you knew the pokemon in question.
Asia did a great job at drawing them both. We had a few different versions while deciding on how to make it. Kakyoin had a fully colored version, but decided to make it easier and only color the cherries, so I'm surprised the cherry earrings weren't super obvious. Good to know Ust got it. The Dio pic had "+2 letters" as a hint at some time, as well as his shirt colored in Deino's colors but decided that makes it too simple.

EDIT: Ah, forgot that that would have given us more points too though. We would have still won. But by smaller margin when compared to the current one. Now we won by 6,5 points, with Solosis right we would have won by 2 points. The two points difference gained by me insisting on Let it Go.

Actually my team was telling me to go with Solosis and had I listened to them you would indeed be the reason why your team lost, so you should thank me for my giant screwup
But it's indirectly a screwup caused by you with the Alolan Diglett, I had this big statistic sheet of pokemon and types to figure out which pokemon we need for task 4, and since every team had 1 single type and 1 dual type in the end we had 6 single types and 5 dual types so I wrote off Solosis because of that. But my stats were screwed because I counted a normal Diglett which is single-type instead of the dual-type Alola Diglett. Pretty mafia-esque convoluted.

We went for Cherrim because the cherries were small and by his head, much like the Sun form of Cherrim:

Idk I just felt like the small cherries and yellow stuff in the pic indicated cherrim.
actually a certain akuma was stupid enough to get confused bw cherrim and cherubi, and didn't even bother to cross check.

Sure, everyone can end in first place, but it just takes an incredible amount of skill to reach a perfect score of 200.

Congrats to the first three teams, and the winning Team #6 in particular. Also for being the only ones to guess Cherubi, the one we carefully planned to make sure it would be recognized by everyone.

My thanks go to @Farfalla and @Hardy for hosting a fun game, and to my teammates for making it very enjoyable to play with. Our respective knowledge ended up overlapping almost every round (and I'm still salty about that Unravel remix ), but I'm satisfied with how we managed nonetheless.
