Something along those lines. Like, if you have doubt about someone's proof, you can take it to a PM and ask, and the other person has to tell the truth this time. Or something.

But wouldn’t that be like revealing the votes before the game is over? And doing that is a no-no in the game.

Something like believing evidence should be left to each player at this point. Votes are secret, even in the manga that was the case.

I agree with kkck. This is a game of trust, and I do think it is up to the player himself/herself to decide who he/she can trust.

Yes, a contract can be between as many players as you want.

I don't think would be kinda fair. Posts are easy to fake -even using paint- which could easily result in a player faking prove and in turn getting the secretariat to reveal votes. Something like believing evidence should be left to each player at this point. Votes are secret, even in the manga that was the case. Akiyama did prove he indeed voted what he said he did but he did it because it was in his benefit not because he was required too by the the game rules. He could have walked up to anyone and said he voted whatever he wanted. Even in other games faking evidence and whatnot did not seem to be an issue as long as it wasn't specifically stated in the rules.

I never said that my idea was entirely right. =P Just something that popped into my head at the moment.

Never mentioned anything about asking someone their vote. The rules were:

1) The question must be yes/no.
2) You cannot submit both yes/no.
3) You cannot write your own answers by hand (to prevent giving an answer other than yes/no, and false information).

I was planning to do an actual poll, since I thought members had the power to hide and modify polls, but since members don’t have those powers, then yes, as Gecko Moria said the votes will be sent to the LG secretariat and that’s how they will be kept a secret.

Cool stuff! ^^ If you guys want to use polls, just pm me whenever you want to create or erase one, and I can do it. I can set it to keep the results hidden till it's needed, and also to reveal who voted for each option.

Glad to see my idea of making the avatars of the people who didn't win promote the game showed at least a humble success lol. I noticed some people removed them before the end of the week though.

Maybe we could shorten the penalty for the next round.

If members keep playing and keep losing then they can never have their own custom avatar.
I think 3 days seems more reasonable, that way the user can go back to their original ava.

I think the real problem is how often the games should be held. Even if penalties are reduced, it would simply mean games can be held more often and in turn the same people would lose the avatars more often. The best I can think of is that penalties should be shorted while games are still played at least a few days after said penalties are done with.

I like once every 2 weeks we start a new game, we can't calculate how long a game might last. It takes time for everyone to get ready and together to start a round. You don't want to have it too often because it might get old really quick. With more breaks between rounds it will let the member relax more and not worry about having a weird ava all the time. Some members don't come to MH everday and they shouldn't have to in order to participate.

Just throwing ideas around.

Game can't be too long though, people might also lose interest like that. I mean, a two day round seems more then long enough IMHO. At most 3 days. I don't think it is a good idea to have 1 week rounds in any case.
