I was throwing random uncooked ideas. The pool could only work if we have at least four teams in each pool. The minority pair will move to the next round after question one, followed by the other winner after question 2. You get 4 pairs from two pools. There we can play normally, minority proceeding till we have a winner.

I think the time given to reply was too short. If we had more time, we might have seen more people trying to contact other pairs. Due to time zone, when I came online, it was only few hours left to reply. It was hard to even get a reply from my partner in some other time zone. We couldn't even discuss our reply and had to rush. What I am saying, is experimenting the next game - like a campaign. More time to play politics, contacting others, guessing, etc.
