Mira > minerva imo
I love minerva and her magic and i agree it is op, but if she could use it as some suggested she would have defeated wall historia easily, but she didn't Because she cant.
So mira win
Mirajane would totally win. Remember, if she uses her Halphas form, she can use dark deflect, a spell that can disperse any and all attacks. So it doesn't matter what Minerva's destructive power is, Mirajane could just deflect it. Also in her Halphas form, she is super fast and the people watching her couldn't see her. Minerva's territory only works if she can see her opponent. If Mirajane was in her Mirajane-Seilah form, she can order anyone to do anything, so she could just tell Minerva what to do and Minerva would be powerless against it. Mirajane beat two subordinates enchanted by Irene, a high enchanter, and spoiler: Irene is actually a dragon! Even Acnologia had a bit of difficulty stopping her. So if Mirajane can beat two people enchanted by Irene, she can beat Minerva. Especially since Minerva only beat a corpse/illusion.
Can anyone even explain how Alegria would help here?
She could barely sustain it for 5 minutes (that's being kind, it was more like 3 minutes) against a pair of fodders, which means if she has any chance of defeating Minerva with it, she'll pretty much have to transform to Alegria and immediately hit Minerva with her heaviest, one-shot attack.
Minerva is a character that can teleport away heavy attacks, so it's not certain Mira's attack will land and if it doesn't (and Mira's magic continues draining) while Minerva keeps on dodging, then what happens to Mira, what does she try next?

Yes, but it's not like she can use macro with Alegria. Which proves what I was trying to say, Alegria is kinda not useful here. If she uses Alegria first and it drains her magic within minutes, then she most likely wouldn't have anything left to even be able to use Seilah Soul and by default, Marco.
My point isn't that Mira couldn't defeat Minerva at all, but that Alegria despite being her strongest form so far, might not actually be the right strategy to use here.

Actually Minerva is not a demon. During tartaros, she was given demon blood which just gave her new abilities and made her stronger. She never actually became a demon and at the end when Sting and Rogue saved her, she 'became' human again. (She was always human to begin with.
Even if Alegria doesn't help her much, in her Halphas form, she can deflect attacks. If she started out with sehlia, Mirajane could just macro Minerva.
Minerva CAN'T teleport away attacks. All she can do is create a little pocket of space where the attack doesn't hit her. And the thing is, Minerva's magic doesn't really have many good attack spells. All she can really do is change the shape of the space she is in. It doesn't really do much to affect her opponent. And Mirajane is really smart. She would save her really powerful form (Alegria) to the right moment. Not to be harsh on Minerva, but she is definitely not as smart a Mirajane.

She would just start out with her Seliah soul and macro her right away. Like i said earlier: Mirajane would wait until she was absolutly sure that it was the right time to use Alegria. And besides, Minerva would probably run out of magic power faster that Mirajane since Mirajane can deflect her attacks. And Mirajane also uses sleep magic. She could just use her sleep magic on Minerva and BAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Win for Mirajane.

Minerva actually never beat historia wahl. The person who was controlling him (neinhart) was taken down by Natsu in like 5 hits.
And Mirajane can last a long time in her takovers (not Alegria but you catch my drift). She beat 2 people who where enchanted by Irene, a high enchanter. Spoiler: Irene is a dragon! Mirajane beat those 2 and beat Jacob in her base form with 1 hit. All while she was recovering from being shot in the heart by August's magic.
When Minerva was fighting Kagura and Erza, she quit the fight because she admitted that it was way to much for her to take on both of them. After Kagura's defeat, Erza managed to beat Minerva even with out her nakagami armor. Minerva had given up, but Erza was to angry to listen to her. Minerva never diffused Natsu's magic. She just created a space inside it to protect her and her father. During Tartarus, yes Minerva was never beaten, but she did lose all the powers the demon blood had given her, so she basically went back down to her gmg power level. No offense to Minerva but she isn't that smart. She doesn't always realize how her opponent measures up or how to effectively use her magic to gain an advantage. And Minerva can't teleport away attacks. She can create pockets of space and do stuff with them, but that is about it.
Mirajane was winning against seliah and managed to take a hold of her power even though it was impossible for her before then. Also Mirajane is very smart and is able to judge how and when to use her powers and she proved that when she was fighting juliet and hyein.
She does lol. Minerva couldn't even beat H12 which Base Mira would stomp as Base Mira was capable of fighting a real S12. Mira is out of Minerva's class in base .
