Merlin describing the situation :

Why would Chaos want a vessel when it was doing perfectly fine without it prior to being sealed away ?
Who knows why it needs a vessel ? , Chaos lacks a physical form to begin with , maybe that's why it wants a vessel.

Chaos was obsessed with creating a race that resembled it , possibly to contain it.

Ok, read the chapter... Reading the actual thing doesn't really improve on it. The perils have been scrubs the entirety of the manga. Weaker than the gang pretty much from day one. Even when empowered by chaos they weren't a threat to the sins or lancelot. And now they are gonna show up and train the knights to defeat lancelot? I call BS. There's no reason for the perils to matter now.

Dubs is so funny the way he was sniffing Arthur's blood the entire time he was on panel😭

Also Lancelot almost seemed like he was on autopilot.

The 3KOTA already beat the Four Evils before they entered their Hyper Chaos forms.

Now that these Four Evils are no longer buffed by Chaos, what can they possibly do to train the 4KOTA?

Also, are we forgetting that Ironside killed his own father? This guy is completely beyond redemption.

Also this Idea that Lancelot is above the gods or Chaos makes no sense in practice , let alone plot-wise otherwise he can't be beaten.

I mean sure he has Infinite Magic but the problem is that he can't make use of that Magic without a sacred treasure and that's how Lancelot can still be beaten.

Chaos Lancelot has no feats that puts him above the gods or even on their level and his power that's above them remains untapped because of lack of ST.
🤣😂 At this point, your obsession with Lancelot’s Sacred Treasure is getting more and more hilarious.
I honestly feel like you’ve forgotten what a Sacred Treasure is actually supposed to do. Because Lancelot said he needed a Sacred Treasure, you keep assuming that only a Sacred Treasure can somehow fix the limitations caused by his insane magical power.
But before making that assumption, ask yourself why Lancelot needed one in the first place.
Did he need a Sacred Treasure because he wanted to use his magic in some specific way? To boost his abilities?
No.
From what we know, his problem was much simpler: his magic was so powerful that it destroyed his ordinary weapons.
That was his limitation.
So, in order to fully utilize his magic, Lancelot needed a weapon that could withstand his power. And what better option than a weapon made by the greatest blacksmith in Britannia?
In other words, the key characteristic Lancelot was looking for in his weapon was durability, because his previous weapons simply couldn’t withstand his own magic.

But that doesn’t mean that any weapon made by Dubs would automatically work.
We can actually see this during the scene between Lancelot and Percy in front of Merlin’s Enchanted Tower.
Lancelot asks Percy for his weapon so he can destroy the tower, but Percy refuses because he explicitly doesn’t want his weapon to break.
And that’s important, because Percy’s weapon was made by Dubs as well.
So no, simply being made by Dubs doesn’t guarantee that a weapon can withstand Lancelot’s magic.

Now, what do we see with Lancelot’s current Chaos-enhanced weapon?
It withstands his magical power perfectly, and so far, it hasn’t shown any sign of weakening.
And what was the exact characteristic Lancelot was looking for in his Sacred Treasure?
Durability.
Well… he found it.

So when you claim that Lancelot will necessarily become even stronger once he gets his Sacred Treasure, what exactly are you talking about?
Because I genuinely don’t understand your argument anymore.
Lancelot was limited by his own magic because ordinary weapons couldn’t withstand it. But now he has a weapon that, as far as the manga has shown us, can withstand that magic perfectly.
Unless you’re blind and somehow can’t read what the manga is showing us, I really don’t understand this obsession with his Sacred Treasure. 😂

Right now, Lancelot already has a weapon that fulfills the exact function he needed a Sacred Treasure for: withstanding his overwhelming magical power.
And that’s a fact.
Claiming that the Sacred Treasure Dubs will eventually make for him will apparently allow him to become even stronger or use his magic more effectively, without any evidence showing what limitation it would actually solve, is simply speculation.

His current weapon already allows him to do what he needed a Sacred Treasure for, at least based on everything we’ve seen so far.
I’m basing this on what the manga actually shows us. You’re inventing an additional function for his Sacred Treasure without any evidence that it will even have that function.

Seriously, bro, this take on Lancelot is getting more and more absurd. 😂🤣

The pages with Lancelot and Guinevere almost feel like a waste of panels. We get it, he is a destroyer now who cares deeply about his girl. At least we know how Cath is doing.

Dubs sniffing the blood was funny.

They were stronger than them at some point even before getting Chaos. Pellegarde defeated Gawain by himself but right now...

Do you realize Lancelot also has the Infinite Lake, the strongest magic power, probably like 90% of Chaos inside of him?

Lancelot is still the strongest even if let's says Arthur with 100% Chaos is stronger than Cath with 100% Chaos.
Just to correct a few points.

In terms of destructive power, whether we’re talking about Lancelot’s current level or his potential in the future, nobody should be able to surpass him, because the Lady of the Lake states that he possesses the most destructive power in the world.
And from what we know about the Original Chaos, it was never portrayed as possessing the most destructive power in the world.

Even when it comes to creation, ask yourself this first: if Chaos could truly create absolutely anything at will, why didn’t the Original Chaos simply create beings comparable to the Gods and have them fight the Gods instead?
Unless, of course, the two Divinities have taken the chaos by surprise without it being able to attack— in which case, that’s a different discussion.

And I’ll repeat this: when it comes to destruction, if we take the Lady of the Lake’s statement at face value, nothing should be able to match Lancelot in that regard, since his power is presented as having the greatest destructive potential in the world.
The word destructive is important here. To illustrate just how exceptional this power is, the Lady of the Lake uses Nemesis, which is portrayed as the strongest spell in the verse, as a point of comparison. She explains that Shining Road, one of Lancelot’s techniques, will eventually surpass even Nemesis once it is fully completed.

I think some people, when they talk about Arthur with 100% of Chaos, automatically imagine an Arthur who can create absolutely anything through sheer will, manipulate time, manipulate reality, and so on without any limitations.
But if he really had that level of unrestricted power, then how do you explain that the original Chaos was able to seal the Divinities?
How could they seal an entity supposedly capable of creating anything and manipulating reality without restriction?

As I’ve already said, this argument only really works if the Gods actually fought the Original Chaos directly.
If they simply managed to catch it off guard, then obviously, that’s a completely different discussion.

Cath is not like the gods; the gods are creations of the power of chaos, while the children must be fragments of it.
Cath himself implies being beneath the gods when he says that killing the seven deadly sins (the killers of deities) makes him a god. Trying to place Cath on the same plane of existence as them is therefore futile.
--- Double Post Merged, ---

I don't think either Arthur with 100% Chaos or Cath with 100% Chaos is equal to Chaos itself. We saw how Arthur at 100% got his arm cut off and eaten by Cath, so having 100% of Chaos doesn't make Arthur invincible by default. He'll never be able to use this power to its true potential because he isn't Chaos.

Also , Cath doesn't just want the powers of Chaos , he also wants Arthur power to control it.
Can you show the part where it says Arthur, with 100% of Chaos, mastered that power perfectly? Percy, for example, had the power of the spirits of life within him without knowing it, and did you see him fully use that power when he was unaware of it?

Lancelot is still the strongest even if let's says Arthur with 100% Chaos is stronger than Cath with 100% Chaos.
.
First of all, let’s not start making things up here.

From what we know, Chaos Lancelot is described as an existence above the Gods. By extension, that places him in the same general tier as Meliodas in his True Magic Form, since that version of Meliodas, which he has now lost, was also described as being above the Gods.

And we can even take it a step further: Nakaba described Meliodas’ True Magic Form as being powerful enough to be comparable to the Mother of Chaos in terms of level.
Those are basically the reliable pieces of information we have right now.

Now, when it comes to Arthur with 100% of Chaos, we simply don’t know.
If Arthur at 100% Chaos is also above the Gods, then yes, he would be in that same general tier. But if he doesn’t reach that level, then he wouldn’t be.

So, in terms of raw power, the only thing we can confidently say right now is that Lancelot is in the same general realm as Meliodas’ True Magic Form and Chaos. That’s it.

Some people will go as far as claiming that Lancelot would beat Meliodas in his True Magic Form, even though Meliodas in that form was also explicitly portrayed as being above the Gods.

So basically, just treat current Lancelot as being comparable to Meliodas’ True Magic Form, without inventing additional power gaps or tiers that the manga hasn’t established.
--- Double Post Merged, ---

Neither Cath or Arthur has matched Chaos itself at least in terms of creations.

Chaos has created the universe, stars, planets,, gods, all the races...etc
And that same Chaos was defeated, or at the very least sealed, by two of its own creations: the Demon King and the Supreme Deity.

How do you explain that?
Why didn’t Chaos simply create two beings capable of surpassing them instead of fighting them and ultimately getting sealed by its own creations?

Does his mean that Chaos’ power of creation is actually more limited than we think?

I mean, sort of but not really? Lancelot was as strong as he ever was since the manga started. Tristan wasn't nearly on his level but he was still basically beyond human in terms of PL. The main thing holding him back was his personality which made him, well, a bitch through most of his life. And he still is one, just not quite as much. A shred of backbone and he would have been at least in the ballpark of a weak commandment upon his introduction. Gawain is weird because when she was introduced she had exactly zero fighting skill. However her magic ability is absurdly powerful, far beyond the realm of a human. Pellegarde defeating gawain was still absurd but nakaba operated within this gap between her raw power and skill to give pellegarde an unrealistic win. A slight variation in setting and gawain snaps in their general direction and are reduced to atoms. Percy in fairness did start out below a holy knight and grew at an incredible rate from there. But as a fully aware life spirit he is a non human entity with far more power than a human. He has been beyond human at least since he woke up.

What you say is partially true but I think you are selling some of the Perils a tad short. Pellegarde never fought anyone bloodlusted simply due to his personality. We actually saw him a lot more serious when he was Chaos controlled and although he got a tremendous buff in power from it, it highlighted one thing about him that we so far hadn't really seen as that apparent - that aside from his fire magic the guy probably has monstrous strength by himself. Among the four of his fellow Perils, he is most likely the physically most powerful even without Chaos. He just never went against anyone bloodlusted earlier in the manga because he was always looking for a good challenge. Balin has a similar quirky outlook on things or at least had it until he was defeated by Gawain. If Balin had gone in bloodlusted from the get go then Howzer would have been dead within seconds. Some guys just don't play that sort of game and Pellegarde is one of them. Compared to him Beltreipe and Ironside are a lot more ruthless and pragmatic, the former out of personal pride, the latter because he is an opportunist. Even Worreldane has a more sadistic streak than Pellegarde. Pelle unfortunately has the softest personality out of all four of them but that is in itself no detriment to his actual strength. Him fending off Gawain wasn't illogical nor was it a fluke or just mere plot armor. The man has skill and power to a really fair extend.

Gawain is probably the most well-rounded among the 4KotA, covering many bases and not in a Jack-of-all-trades way, which would imply that she can't do anything really well. She can actually do everything really well, except when it comes to healing. And it is only thanks to that that she can even be compared to Worreldane. Because if this was a pure mage battle then Gawain would have lost every time. Worreldane casts faster, knows more and stronger spells, even forbidden ones and has the experience to make faster decisions than Gawain or in general have the better set-up even prior to combat as we saw during her invasion of the Fairy Forest. Gawain can win against her due to Dawn and going into muscle form. Worreldane's one weakness is that which every pure mage has, getting into fisticuffs. And in terms of pure physical power, even if it is short, even an 80% Tyrant Mode Gawain is probably stronger than Tristan with his demon mark, making her really only second to Lancelot in terms of raw power. So by no means is Worreldane weak, she is by far the better mage than Gawain although Gawain learns at an alarming rate that is probably second to no other mage.

Ironside overall has little to write home about, he is physically mediocre, probably only Worreldane is worse off than him, he is a shitty swordsman but his unique magical discipline can make up for it depending on the context. He is arguably the weakest of the 4 Perils depending on the scenario or he shares that spot with Pellegarde. When it comes to bogging you down with his summons he is probably a bitch to deal with, he only had the unfortunate luck of running into Ban. But honestly, any of the Perils would've ended the same against Ban so it's not really a good comparison anyway. Plus, he is Percival's personal nightmare although that plot point went really nowhere as we have seen, sadly.

Beltreipe is perhaps the strongest of the four Perils and that is thanks to his skill with the blade and his annoying magic power which is kind of broken for someone of his overall calibre. That magic would be Sins territory if it wasn't stuck on someone who is a little above Great Holy Knight level. But he's made it work through effort because it doesn't do anything fancy by itself. This magic is only terrifiying if you are good with the sword. Take it away and you are still, well, good with the sword. The synergy is fantastic and he should have been a lot stronger after his transformation into a Chaos monster but Nakaba obviously nerfed him and made him somehow forget that he can cut virtually anything, even space (something even Lancelot confirmed). Yet he never really made use of it somehow? That is actually plot armor, except for the good guys. There really only should be a handful of things out there that should be able to stop his magic, we have obviously seen Lancelot do it with his Moon of Eighteen skill, Perfect Cube could be another such case or some other obsurce shit. But aside from that, enaging with him should be a nightmare for anyone who has to rely on close combat. All of that is rendered even more funny to me if you consider that this man is well into his 60s already and the oldest among the three men of his group. I wouldn't have wanted to fuck with this guy while he was in his prime.

EDIT:

I like the final page with the Perils, there's some really neat details there. Worreldane maintains her floral motif, even back then whens he warped towards Beltreipe's tournament she manifested from a rose bloom. I wonder what the deal with her and flowers or roses is. Beltreipe has his family crest as a small button on his jacket. Even after its fall he never gave up on the Castellio name, or at least seems to remember its significance again. And lastly, Pellegarde's belt buckle is a tiny Jiggly-Percival <3. Percival is such a lucky guy. Two wifes, two children, three dads (although one of them is an irredeemable shithead)

Huh? lol

Lancelot literally had to step in and solo all of them.

The perils literally defeated them when empowered.

Imagine if that was our attitude to learning in real life:
"How is this frail old man going to teach me math when he can't beat me in a fist fight."

I mean, chaos separating the races somehow is low hanging fruit as far as theories go. Though I suppose there's a marginal chance that the whole thing was a bit of a lie britania told the knights of the grail and all races simply went home for a couple decades until the grail knights return from this escapade to prevent a paradox. As in, the percy and co heard from the grail knights that there were no magical species in the future and thus had all magical species retreat to their worlds to preserve the future they heard.
