Re: Post Links or Pictures of the most memorables One piece moments

this thread has been quiet for quite some time. updated it with few more from the latest chapters

http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/516/01/
this colourpage does remind me the introduction of each crewmembers in the manga. though it doesn't have anything to do with the current arc, it does have some sentimental value in it. truly masterpiece and brilliant, I'd say :thumbs

http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/518/17/
Luffy explodes in anger, showing that he cares for other people. even for someone he barely know. just for saving him is enough for him to care.

http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/519/19/
from the same chapter. the smile reminds me of Roger's. smile of the king

Re: Post Links or Pictures of the most memorables One piece moments

Those are all great moments! Well, I wouldn't call the color spread a moment but it is one of the best colorpages and I do think it deserves to be in this thread just because it's awesome.

Let's get this thread going again. ^^

Re: Post Links or Pictures of the most memorables One piece moments

1-I think that this one is missing in the list
http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/390/18-19-color/

personnaly that is my favorite moment in Enies lobby, and it is hard to choose
and some other just a bit less good
2- http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/273/19/

well the bell ring has already been chosen but this one is not bad too
3- http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/129/10/

I'm surprise there was not post on little garden. The giant fight was yet memorable

4- and the entire groggy ring match which was awesome from the first page to the last !
sample :

http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/312/16/
http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/312/18-19/

In fact I love foxy arc. It is just a crazy arc which has nothing to do with the all story, just pure fun

Re: Post Links or Pictures of the most memorables One piece moments

Actually, there is a thread like this but for funny moments. This thread was made in contrast to that one to post the most memorable scenes and moments. Not that humorous moments can't be memorable, but if it is then it fits in the other thread all the more.

(those are really funny, though)

Re: Post Links or Pictures of the most memorables One piece moments

Sorry but for me memorable moments are the funny too, because I just can't forget them!

Re: Post Links or Pictures of the most memorables One piece moments

This scene isn't mentioned in the first post, as a matter of fact, I don't think it's been mentioned anywhere yet.
Epic scene in Water 7: getting revenge for Usopp!
It's one of those things that stay with you. One for all, all for one! Don't mess with the Straw Hats!

Re: Post Links or Pictures of the most memorables One piece moments

^That was a pretty awesome scene, and it reminded me of one of my favorite chapter covers. If I was reading the first correctly, this one hasn't been posted:

http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/82/01/

I don't know why, but I like the epicness of that page.

bittman · Nov 26, 2008

Re: Post Links or Pictures of the most memorables One piece moments

PREDSFAN! That is my favourite cover page ever in the existence of cover pages. It captures the mood in ways cover pages have never done again. If I ever saw something this epic again, no-one would be safe from my manly girly screams.

Goji · Nov 26, 2008

Re: Post Links or Pictures of the most memorables One piece moments

Have to agree with bittman here, it is one of the best cover page ever. Nice find!

Re: Post Links or Pictures of the most memorables One piece moments

Personally this scene was EPIC in it's own way... Robin who left the crew in order to protect them and herself (not being rejected by the SH) didn't count Luffy in.

http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/374/16/

And this scene was an awesome one too. The chapter title fits to Sogekings achievements.

Re: Post Links or Pictures of the most memorables One piece moments

I loved the scene when zoro, Vivi, and Nami were trapped in Mr 3's candle wax
Zoro was prepared to cut off his legs to survive.

i also enjoyed when Carue was used as bait since Luffy ate the worm bait. that was funny

and when nami flashed all the guys and charged money

so many moments

Re: Post Links or Pictures of the Most Memorable One Piece Moments

Oh gosh, so many moments.

Despite having already been mentioned to death, there has yet to be a scene that hit me and stayed as much as Merry's death did. The anime version, with the sad BGM version of We Are! playing can still make me sob like an idiot T_T

And in terms of epicness, there was never a more satisfying moment for me then when Luffy bashed that Tenryuubito's sorry face in. I was cheering like crazy through the manga and anime. That guy was a grade A jerk.

If I could nominate the whole One Piece for manga now, if you don't mind XD I freaking love this series.

Re: Post Links or Pictures of the Most Memorable One Piece Moments

Um, for the Drum island arc,http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/141/18/ it's when Dr. Hilruk says that he will not hurt chopper, after chopper thought about what humans did to him, and hit Hilruk because he was human and http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/141/19/ (lol just the resolution to that, CHOPPER HAS A NAKAMA!, it's awesome to see him happy and crying about it)

Also: When Chopper hunted for a Mushroom (very rare, and poisonous) because he saw a skull on it, and because Dr Hilruk told him about a pirates flag and how it can do anything, he thought it was a good thing, and hilruk ate it anyway. After, his speech of how he did not die because of his disease or from eating the poisonous mushroom, etc, he will die when people forget him (but this part of it has already been mentioned)
http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/143/18/ http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/143/18/
http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/145/06/

edit: my main point for the second is when chopper found out about it, from http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/144/13/ to http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/144/18/

Re: Post Links or Pictures of the Most Memorable One Piece Moments

^^^ already posted, yeah. All of the ones already posted can be found in the first post.

Since I'm still here I might as well post some recent ones. ^^

http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/550/18-19/

I don't think anyone can argue against this being one of the most epic shots in ages. No further description needed.

And another one:
http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/548/14/
http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/548/15/
http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/548/16/
http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/548/17/
http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/548/18/
http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/548/19/

I almost cried, damnit. This is so damn epic, Bon-chan sacrificing himself for the sake of his friend. I remember hating him back when he was an enemy, but now he's one of my absolute favorite characters. Okama wayyyy~~~~! *sob*
