I think it has to do with feats Erza’s and Natsu’s feat are good enough where we know they‘re pretty high up there power scale wise. Some characters just don’t have any feats or they’re not good enough for some people so if a villai beats them it doesn’t mean anything and I think that’s mostly Hiro‘s fault

The problem is that those ''feats''are the most bs and doubtful as worst written, Erza practically has the most useless magic of team Natsu because she practically cannot win with her magic normally in their fights she just wins because ..... She is Erza? , Natsu has lost more than once and more of his losses are ignored, he has an invincible status despite his various losses and several of his victories don't make any sense but it seems that these are easily accepted.

As they are excused with being tired even though that doesn't really tend to matter regularly and most of the battles occur with tired characters but others don't use that as justification.

I agree most feats are bs

Hiro rarely will allow other characters to out preform Natsu and Erza (that's one of the reasons why Gildarts and Laxus are not in many arcs) so he gives them advantages that he hardly gives to other characters

Her magic is practically not that useful, she practically won several of her fights without logic although now it depends a lot on Wendy really, Natsu wins in some strange ways, sometimes ignoring some rules that had already been established, just to give him a power up out of nowhere, more than any other character, although I also mentioned that when he is defeated or at least doesn't win the fight, it's normal that more excuses are made for him, compared to others.

not really sure what you mean? of course some of her fights would require outside aid considering the strength of her opponents. not sure what rules you are considering

About Erza that her previous fights were just her armor being useless and victories with less logic than other fights, although now if you think about the current ones practically in all she needs Wendy's magic, about Natsu we started with the dragon slayers can only eating his own element only to ignore that so that Natsu could have power ups to hide it allowed others to do it, although Natsu is the one who abused that the most, and well that dragon slayer cannot eat god slayer magic and then he did it by inventing something forced is so far the only dragon slayer that has done it.

not sure what you mean unless you give an example for Erza, same with Natsu, he was able to eat Etherion because it has Fire as well, though it does poison him, as for Laxus, it was stated that he did try to eat Laxus Lightning early on so it was build so it can be later, it is not that they are unable to, just that they avoid to since it is bad for them.

Well Wendy is the counter hax in the current manga for everyone, not just Erza, and she did managed to defeat opponents by herself, it was stated because of it being bad for the Slayer, yet he managed to eat an element the combines other elements including fire, so technically, he would able to adapt to other elements since it was mentioned before he couldn't tolerate it, now he could.

It's a forced justification really, but as I said at the end, that only happens for being Natsu if it were another character I don't think you would be defending him

what? It wasn't really forced so much as a loophole in the system, basically if someone did train at some point to become able to, then they would still be able to accomplish it too.

Those two were the most hyped up villains in the whole series. Zeref was hyped up since Lullaby Arc and Acnologia since Tenrou arc. Sad to see what happened to them.

Well Acno since the beginning of Edolas, again, they could have had longer fights, but anyway, not that bad.
