Discussion Most Powerful Zoan DF

Hey guys, I was walking around and tripped and landed on my face and right after I was like hmmm what is the strongest ZOAN df possible? This is not a poll but an insight into our personal opinions in this topic. I'll list some contenders and then give my own opinions to start. I want to discus about the strongest zoan df by itself but I guess users will always tie into it. I just feel that even though some people will make more effective use of their abilities, some DFs are just extra hax with extra abilities.

1. Dragon dragon no mi
When I say dragon df I mean it. Not no dinosaurs like King or Drake lol. I mean DRAGON like Kaido or momo. Don't think I need to go into this because we all know dragon lore lol..close to being indestructible, breathe fire, etc. Momo and Kaido is shown with clouds when in Dragon form.

2. Tori Tori no mi: model Phoenix
Marco can heal himself and rise from his grievous injuries as well as heal others too. Not to mention the superhuman capabilities, flight, and flames. Extreme longevity can be expected here too since he is a phoenix all because of this fruit.

3. Tama Tama no mi
This df involves an egg...and transforms the user into different stages of a chicken with the final most mature form being the strongest. It seems like a Zoan with capabilities from the other df categories but it definitely is Zoan to me because Tamago gets chicken wings and the like.

4. Hito hito no mi model: Daibutsu Buddha
Yes, humans are zoans and this one is pretty messed up. You don't just get to be human but you become an enlightened human and you end up looking like a golden statue. Being deity like, the user can launch shockwaves, become gigantic, and that golden bod probably come with some extreme durability. I wonder if this fruit also allows one to fly or...rather float in the air since Buddha in different lores is said to have such abilities.

I know there are others but these are the obvious 4 at the top of my head since they are already in the manga but the most hax Zoan DF I think is going to have to be the Tardigrade Tardigrade no mi. For those who do not know what Tarsigrades are, they are also known as water bears...they can chillax in boiling water, survive crazy CRAZY radiation, and survived the last 5 major extinctions on earth. I'll let google explain the rest. They are exceptionally amazing creatures and if someone had their powers in OP, they will not be able to swim but will be not only be able to survive in water, they will just casually walk thru all the imple down tortures with a smile. Something as hot as fire should be able to damage them but the df abilities on a human scale will probably offer a good amount of protection against heat. Even Crocodile's drying ability will do jothing against water bears. It would be exactly like what happened to Luffy. Rehydrate and fight another day.

Anyways, what do you guys think? Just wanted to quickly jot down my thoughts before they poof off into my dreams. Moderators, if there is a thread like this already please move for me. Thanks.

Tama Tama no Mi is probably a Paramecia.

A Daibutsu Buddha is gigantic and I presume possess steel-like skin. But I don't think there's much of a different from a dinosaur, for example.

If Kaido's invulnerability is related to his Devil Fruit, then it's superior to Marco's. Otherwise they have different applications.

To some extent this depends on the circumstances of course but.. I am partial towards the dragon fruit. It provides the user with wingless flight, very powerful fire breathing, dragon scales and presumably the generic benefits a zoan regularly gets in enhanced physical capacity. This is easily far more than most zoans get to begin with. I expect kaido to have a hybrid form as well.

As far as the phoenix fruit... Its obviously strong but I am not sure if it qualities as particularly strong. Its main selling point is regeneration but it otherwise does not appear to have other advantages over other fruits. Even its fire can't really hurt enemies. So its basically the same as pells fruit but with limited regeneration. Which is an important improvement of course...

I actually regard chopper's fruit very highly. Unfortunately it was eaten by the worst possible user, an ordinary animal. Oda made the point that if a human were to attain the fruit he would get illumination or something to that effect. If what a human gets from a human zoan is intellect then this is without a doubt the most powerful fruit out there.

Ancient zoans seem like stronger versions of normal zoans basically. As rather than the strengths of ordinary animals, say leopards, you get the strength of a dinosaur, say a trex...

The kyubi fruit seems to be well above the norm when it comes to zoans as well. Offensively it probably does not surpass a dinosaur fruit or a dragon fruit but its magical abilities could go as far as being unparalleled.

LOL KYUBI FRUIT! Hey man that made my day. I forgot to think about other mythical creatures besides OP ones in general, my mind was centered on tardigrades lol. But hey that opens up quite a good amount of opportunities for us to come up with some OP fruits.

Also, about the hito hito no mi, the wiki says that no effect will come to a regular human except that he cannot swim. Oda joked that if a human ate it, that person will find themselves lol. So, what would happen if Chopper ate the Daibutsu version instead lol. Speaking of which, if there is a Daibatsu model, then there may be a Jesus Model too. If that model offers powers that jesus is supposed to have, that person can just walk across the grand line and come back from the dead. That would be a great df to have.

Sengoku's fruit is quite strange. "Ancient Zoans" are creatures that are only known to have existed in the past. "Mythical Zoans" are creatures that only existed in stories, but there's no evidence they are real. Does "Buddha statues" only existed in stories, and nobody ever saw one?

Maybe there was actually a race of giant Humans with golden skin.

Strongest zoan is Pell's Falcon fruit, it lets its user survive the blast of a bomb that could destroy a city without any permanant damage to the body.

I think Marcos fruit is being heavily underestimated as we only saw him primarily fight in defence or counter attack.

Things like phoenix flame or phoenix fire exist in mythology and the undying Phoenix trope has always had regeneration that is quite OP IMO. I'd like to hear or see Marco in a serious fight and glad that the BB pirates never got to attain that DF.

The Dragon fruit is probably one of my favourites and the dragon itself is my chosen spiritual creature. It lends itself significantly to an attack based character (even though the scales offer some insane defence) and is one for more destruction.

We haven't seen much of the Zoans in action (atleast mythical ones) and haven't even seen proper awakening. Torn between Phoenix and Dragon.

There is a theory that BB already has it. But it was never shown.

Actually, that theory was based on the fact that Shanks' scar had those scratches made by Blackbeard. But we saw Blackbeard carry a bladed weapon similar to the "Enter the Dragon" end fight in the fishmen island flashback. So the cerebrus theory is not as likely.

Not Quite. There was also his flag... which contains three heads and his ability to carry more devilfruits. Therefore some think that he does not have 2, but 3 fruits. A Paramecia(gura gura), a Logia(yami yami) and a zoan(zerberus).
