Music Genres

[Regente]

LOL I guess it fits in "other" haha.
What exactly is Electronic genre O_O?

It does, lolz. Doesn't matter, electronic is awesome too, anyway.

Electronic is music made through samples, rarely having vocals.
I strongly recommend Gui Boratto, Sasha and The Field.

[macherie]

Oh okay, i don't think i've ever heard it, or maybe i haven't realised that it was called Electronic, thanks REgente, i'll have a listen soon ^^

[Impel Down]

[Regente]

An example of a famous electronic band is Daft Punk, you guys probably know them.

[Impel Down]

Yeah, I've heard of Daft Punk. There's one of their songs I really like, but I can never remember the name of it.

Do you know it? They say "Stronger" and other adjectives a lot.

[macherie]

Ah i love Daft Punk ! Oh so i'm guessing the genre's Indie and Eleectronic must be quite similar ^^

Is the song called Flash, or is it called Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger?

And that's for at least getting me close. Everytime I ask someone, they tell me Kanye West's song....

[Regente]

The song's name is Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger, from their 2001's album Discovery.

[Impel Down]

alright, thanks a lot!

[kleomarlo]

I often listen to Rnb, pop and especially OPM (Original Pinoy Music) Music. I'm also into alternative and a little jazz. Like woody_green, I also love Pinoy ethnic music

[Zwivix]

Well mostly I like hip-hop/rap and RnB. But im starting to like rock songs, anyone got any bands or singers that you can recommend to me?

[Imperium]

For Rock songs, nothing is better than the one and only QUEEN!!!

[Impel Down]

Queen is a pretty fantastic group. I only really have one of their CDs (Classic Queen), but, you know, I've heard more, and they're just great, as well as just epic.

Plus, it's nice to tell homophobes about them.
