Re: If you were to create a BM0 level 2 trial, you would...
One possibility would be a circular room where several floating, moving statues fire a particular spell depending on the statue toward Kuzumi, and in a quick, consecutive order. Kuzumi has to quickly memorize the pattern, "catch" a spell with his BM0 card, and send it back to the statue that fired it without getting hit by the others. Rinse, repeat with the following spells. Should he screw up at any time, he has to start over. Of course, getting hit too often with magic would eventually deal damage to his real body and could prevent him from participating any further. This could be a test of reflex, memorization, and keeping a level head under pressure.
Second part would involve a 30 minute time limit, one in which Kuzumi is given the option of choosing one of three spells to use in any given order to combat a giant golem (a la something like in Shadow of the Colossus
). Once a spell is used up, he could then use either one of the remaining two afterward. Once that spell is used up, he can use the last remaining spell. Problem is, he can only use each of them once, so he has to decide which spell is the proper one to use and when to use it on the golem (who has weak points in three different parts of its body, each pertaining to a certain spell and each in the shape of tattoo-ish marks). Should he screw up, he can regain the three spells again, but at the cost of losing five minutes of time and having the weak spots moved to random parts of the body.
