My really bad attempts.

Note: I USE gimp, I don't use photoshop. Also, I'm very new at this.In the past I worked on other kinds of projects, etc....
This was at first a jiant grey 4000x4665 image. I think...

This was intended for SPEED cleaning. I'm able to do HQ and MQ types as well, but I'd rather stick to low quality until I can learn to use gimp better.
If anyone would, please point me to a Gimp guide for cleaning.

Seems over levelled, thus I hate gimp.

I think, that if I grade myself on this attempt. I would give it a 5.5 / 10.
Not sure though....

I can't comment on the details but it's nice to see that you give Gimp a try.

Most tutorials for Photoshop can be "translated" 1:1 for Gimp, so the difference should be minimal. You need to practice with every program till you become familiar with the settings and to become skilled enough for the desired quality.

I took a look at it and I'm going to give you some advice. I am a cleaner myself.

First of all, the part of the images that are supposed to be completely black are not black. Even if you intend it to be for "speed" cleaning, one of the groups you applied for does not do "speed" cleaning. They took particular care with the instruction and when they did not receive that, they rejected your application.

Second of all, since one of the groups are looking for "experienced" cleaners, they expected the image to have been drawn in in the middle. That is one of the most prized skill that a cleaner can have and makes them an even more valuable asset.

When you try applying, you should keep these in mind. Cleaning isn't only about leveling. Sometimes cleaners have to go in and draw and color everything by hand.

So even though a group may need more cleaners, they give tests to see the level of skill the applicants have. It's like a job interview. Employers will not take employees who cannot follow directions or who do not have the skill it takes to complete the job.

BTW, the program you use shouldn't really matter as long as the result is the same.

Leveling, is a pain....still working on that. The guys I'm doing this test for said i'd pass for them. So I guess I'm not half as bad as I thought.
I'm trying to finish this all and submit it all at once for review.
14 pages/28 pages So far.

CRT > LCD There're several websites where you can test if your monitor's calibrated correctly... Link read it through. And here a comprehensive guide on how everything works
