It almost makes me think that the Demon King aspired to be the strongest for something maybe his own personal agenda ?
He is the first Demon King and so I’m guessing he trained himself to get there like how Mel mentioned he could train up to that level as well ?

“When our father, The Demon King, decided to bring the vast, chaotic Demon world under his reign...” to me implies that beforehand, the Demon world was an existing place but with obviously no hierarchy, or absolute ruler, yet why would he want to bring it under his reign to begin with ?

Obviously there’s a huge lack of data on this but it’s got me curious about Mel’s dad’s background now.

He said he gave that person half of his power, and then got spooked they could beat him if they wanted, and then split it among the stronger demons that became the 10C.

Shows a lot of trust at the minimum.

I don’t perosnally think the mom will be relevant just because he has one, but I guess it’s interesting to think about.

wasnt it mael who was supposed to be representative of the fallen angels...having everything originate at goddess feet would be imbalanced between these two clans

as far as we know, there is no "heaven" just the goddess realm where the goddesses live. and the SD who is the ruler of them

givens how he's the SD equal he probably grew tired of the broing, tedious heaven. (and having to deal with his arrogant C$%T of a sister.) And so decided the underworld was far more pleasant a place.
