All topics related to Naruto & the Kyuubi can be discussed here, including:
Would Naruto be better off without it?
Will Naruto ever lose the Kyuubi?
Will we ever see Naruto go nine-tails?
Did Kushina have the Kyuubi before Naruto?
Could the Kyuubi be considered a bloodline limit?
----------------
I have been thinking about this topic for a while now and I thought I would bring it to light. I think that Naruto would be a better ninja if he never had the kyubbi inside of him. By better, I don't mean his determination or his power to change people, I mean stronger, faster, and more chakra control.
Kakashi told Naruto that if Yamato was able to kept the kyubbi under control then he might have 100 times as much chakra as Kakashi himself. Since Naruto wasn't using the kyuubi during his clone training, this leads me to believe that without the kyubbi he would have 100 times as much chakra as Kakashi. In other words, I think that the kyubbi consumes a lot of his original chakra and that Naruto's original chakra could rival that of Kisame or someone else with a huge chakra supply.
If this happens to be the case, then in regards to speed, strength, chakra, and chakra control Naruto would be better. Everyone says that Naruto is so strong because of the kyubbi but that might not be the case. It is said that the kyubbi has an unlinited supply of chakra but that doesn't do Naruto any good because Naruto can't control the kyubbi's four-tailed state. Imagine Naruto having full control over all of his original chakra.
This has its draw-backs too. For instance, if Naruto didn't have the kyubbi he wouldn't know the pain of being alone and wouldn't care about being excepted so much. By not caring about being excepted, I think his good qualities could be down-graded and being Hokage might not be one of his dreams. But then again, he would probably be a kick ass ninja because he wouldn't care about getting so much attention as the class clown.
I wrote this thread because I wanted to find out the everyones opinion on this topic. I'm sure somone will disagree so feel free to rant. It's just an opinion.
