Eh, everyone exaggerates. I do for the most part dislike the direction the story's going, but as long as there's action I'm ignoring the quality for the most part. That and I want to see Naruto and Sasuke work together like they did in Part I, without even needing to talk to each other. Didn't Sasuke understand Naruto's plan completely when Naruto tossed him the demon windmill shuriken to throw against Zabuza? Or the confidence he had that Naruto would arrive to help during the Forest of Death portion of the exam?

Imagine the potential of real Naruto with Sasuke and Sakura... they could far surpass the Sannin, but right now Naruto only surpasses Jiraiya in power. :\ I think he's held back too much to fit the typical shounen stereotype.

i will admit to exaggerating minato a little bit, and i also try to stay objective as much as possible

i have had a few conversations go south on here, but for the most part i can talk about almost anything with almost anyone on this forum

that being said naruto seems to be the one manga that people tend to polarize themselves to a certain character or group of characters, and thus develop strong attachments and strong bias

You exaggerate about Minato a lot, not just a little bit.

Majority polarize themselves towards Minato or Naruto and become blind and show hatred towards Sasuke and Uchiha for one reason or another, even accusing them of being emo or whatever. I've seen more Sasuke supporters be rational than Minato or Naruto supporters, which is kinda sad to be honest.

well the opposite is also true, people gravitate to the uchiha and discount or discredit the senju or non-uchiha

and you know what this means?

kishimoto is a GENIUS

for him to be able to generate that type of polarization and strife between the fans of fictional charaters....

he really sucked us all in, big time

however i do not believe i fall into this category

i also pump up itachi way more than most, in fact i dont think there is a single fight itachi wouldnt have a shot it

he would be the only one i could think of that may actually be smart enough to beat the juubi/obito creature thing

he may not be the strongest but his haxx are unlimited and his intellect is unparralleled

People aren't really born bad. They become bad because they're influenced by their surroundings. Madara wasn't always bad, Obito wasn't always bad, Nagato wasn't always bad, etc. They were all victims of war and were mentally weak to sustain the psychological impact of losing a loved one. Which is to say that it is a mindless act of losing a loved one to start a war on a world-wide scale. People don't have to change, they need to understand one another. Madara and Obito are special cases which is why the war on this scale started, but Nagato was back to his senses when he was listened to and vice versa.

People may not be born bad, but they can easily become bad regardless of their surroundings. Orochimaru, Hidan, Kakuzu, Mizuki, and Danzo are all examples of this. They didn't become bad because they were victims of war, they were just bad people acting on their own greed and desires. And that's the point. No matter how many people Naruto gets to understand one another, there will eventually be someone greedy or evil enough to once again make use of the Bijuus as weapons.

Not really, they don't do it that much. They just tend not to overhype the non-Uchiha as much. if anything, Minato and Naruto fans contradict the manga by saying Sasuke is not a genius or make up their own shit like "SASUKE IS EMO/CAPTAIN EMO!!!1" or "UChiha are full of hatred, they're evil!" and whatnot, despite proof to the contrary. You do have some like ninjabot who does bash Naruto, though.

well i cannot speak for everyone

but i like certain characters more than others
yet i dont discrimibate based on clan

i give itachi almost as much praise as minato

i like madara more than hashirama

i cant say i like sasuke more than naruto, but i can say that i like sasuke better than anyone else from that generation excluding naruto

the only one i really see completely discrediting uchiha is marshall

but ninjabot discredits non uchiha just as much so they kind of balance out

They all were bad, but not bad enough to launch an all-out war with the world. I didn't say that understanding one another would stop criminals from appearing, but it would decrease it. Orochimaru was and is bad, but he has his moments, as we've all seen.

We were talking about people using the Bijuus for evil again though. And while it may not have been a "world-wide" war, both Orochimaru and Danzo have caused or nearly caused wars to break out.

All the villages have the power to create a Jinchuuriki and therefore manipulate the power of the Bijuus. And pretty sure those listed all have been shown as unstable as Obito.

a good bit of what i post about minato is almost trolling, he is my favorite character but i say somethings because the reaction from the minato haters is irresistable

This again? As far as we know, out of the five or so Uchiha we've seen, Obito is the only Uchiha that has proven Tobirama's rumor correct.

Neither Madara nor Izuna nor Sasuke nor Itachi nor Kagami nor Shisui have gone crazy, not the way Uchiha have been described as. I don't know why people are insistent on believing this crockpot theory, but whatever floats the boat, I guess.

I base it on matchups and consider other things, I actually look at the bigger picture. v.v I'm not gonna be blind or biased just because someone is my favorite.

well against mortal enemies (unlike the juubibjinhuuriki which seems indestructable)
minato in theory has a chance in any fight
hirashin + kunai knife to throat

fights over that fast

i dont see how thats illogical

that doesbt mean he should always be the favorite

the only weakness minato had was that he wasnt naturally gifted with huge chaakra and kekei genki

however you give the smartest shinobi in history something like kyuubi chaakra and he is suddenly the fsstest smartest and has a shit ton of chaakra

imagin him hirashin'ing behind you and pulling out a rasengan bigger than the one jaraiya used in sage mode

minato could probably make a rasengan stronger than a bijuu dama

It's not POV though. This discussion began over the justification of eliminating the Bijuus from the world due to the danger they pose. Since their hatred stem from being sealed within a Jinchuuriki and used as weapons by people, the fact that it can easily happen again gives more then enough justification to wipe them from the world so they can never be used as such weapons again or redevelop a hatred for mankind that will cause them to lash out generations later. "Attacking the whole world and imprisoning it" is moot.

I was actually waiting for Minato to show some versatility and a chakra element. Now I can't wait until Madara or obito rip his ass in half and seal him. You and Marshall has made me hate this character... I'm officially stating I hate minato. Before the only character I hated was lee and obito... Now minato is in first place..
