A review IS an individual's opinion. But you implied it when you said reviews tell the truth better than an individual's opinion.

I'm sorry but it's hard to beat Dragonball Z when it comes to Shounen and I've seen A LOT of anime. In that particular genre, only Naruto could catch it.Overall rating is the total of multiple individuals' opinions. A lot of people could have given Dragon Ball Z 5 stars for nostalgia and because it was the only anime they've seen while a superior anime could get lower rating because it's lesser known or not suited to people's taste.
Nowadays, it's hard to beat Dragon Ball Z due to nostalgia factor, but that doesn't mean it's better. IN terms of pure fighting, sure it's better. But Naruto has had better plots than Dragon Ball Z. DBZ was about beating bad guys and fighting. Naruto was about a boy working hard to gain acceptance and be recognized by winning fights, which wasn't about pure strength. You also had complexities involved, like whether the business of shinobi was good or bad, whether Zabuza and Haku were really evil, whether Gaara should be considered a true villain, etc.I'm sorry but it's hard to beat Dragonball Z when it comes to Shounen and I've seen A LOT of anime. FAR TOO FEW as it seems. DBZ is far from the best shounen series and Naruto is just as far away from being anywhere near the best series. You know which is better when looked at objectively, One Piece, Slam Dunk or GTO, likey easily far better. :PI'm sorry but it's hard to beat Dragonball Z when it comes to Shounen and I've seen A LOT of anime. There was only one thing of note that was available for discussion, and it was being discussed before the talk about negativity. And there is no "general" suckage... Out of the first page of posts, there were only two complaints, both speaking about the chapter itself. The rest of the posts all spoke about the chapter favorably. There were no "THIS MANGA SUCKS" or even "NARUTO IZ TERRIBLE CHARACTER". It's perfectly fair for people to point out what they disliked about the actual chapter. That is hardly putting fourth negativity on the front line. There are a lot of topics we can discuss, but you have to want it. There's an official disappointment topic in which those who don't have anything better to say other than to rant same shit they did last week, they could do so there. Why bring the general "suckage" in every chapter and thus put the front line of what this week's discussion's gonna look like?
You don't get it, every week is like that, not just this one. You think I brought negativity up because of 2 complaints in the discussion? I don't care about the complaints honestly, but I do think that they affect a lot of people who may want to post but don't want to because of that reason. There was only one thing of note that was available for discussion, and it was being discussed before the talk about negativity. I actually agree with this, but I rarely see this kind of post. Again, what's stopping people from talking or having another topic to discuss? If people don't to talk because of negativity or whatever, then that's on them, not the poster. Pretty sure no one bashes anyone who brings up different discussion or isn't negative. The problem is that the dissatisfaction is generalized every time. People usually don't give constructive criticism and explain what exactly they didn't like in that chapter, but instead they say that it only sucks since the war began or since part 2 started etc. That's a bit redundant and repetitive.
If ten consecutive chapters have a problem worth mentioning, it should be okay to discuss them too. I could say that we got too many cliffhangers over the last couple weeks, like every single one from october had one. Seems problematic since no real tension is build up this way. We knew talk no jutsu would come up and it did again and again and again and again with this chapter crowning them all.Just because of the few, you can't make assumptions about the rest. And it is true. There are people who constantly enter the thread discussion and state their negativity for like 10+ consecutive weeks. I can understand that you don't like where this manga's headed or how Kishimoto envisioned it, but to diss every chapter, shit, that's a bit weird. Also, I didn't mean to turn this into a drama, I just find it hilarious.
I agree about the cliffhangers, we've had them far too many in this war and each one killed the purpose of the last. Even if the talk no jutsu is something we're all already bored with, you can't say that this one with Obito was the same as any other. This particular one is different to me because Naruto seems more composed and trusting in his own words. It's like he's really guiding him towards the right path. The depiction of it is different is what I want to say, so we can at least find one thing that's good about it.If ten consecutive chapters have a problem worth mentioning, it should be okay to discuss them too. It's not that Naruto had one or two problems this year, it's the cluster of TnJ, no real consequences, retcon/Deus ex machina, plothole creating backstories for already existing backstories. Kishi has shown that he doesn't have it under control, ended up making Naruto more child-oriented than ever before[Zombies, not real humans that die on the antagonists side], power up after power up and all those parallels.
