This thread was once known as the Post All "What Chapter / Episode...?" Questions Here thread.
Now it's a little more wide-ranging than that: you can discuss any questions you might consider to be simple, and ones you might expect quick answers to, that doesn't necessarily have anything to do with where they are in the series or anime.
Some commonly asked questions:
1. Kakashi Gaiden is Chapters 239 through 244 by the way. That STILL seems to be the most popular question (I guess because most new manga readers want to start with the first storyarc following the end of the anime fillers), so I figured I'd just get that out of the way.
2. For manga reference as far as to where to find events from the anime, here's lexiefaye's manga/anime reference, where you can look up the chapters and episodes that correspond with the bit you are looking for... ( only goes as far as the anime has covered at the moment though...)
