Thoughts on Urban coming to the pros?

Bills are the No.1 scoring offense against the Blitz......the Ravens love to blitz. Bills pass offense is tiers above Baltimore.

Seems like a bit of an overstatement to me. It's the toughest matchup they've had since the Rams, and they really only won that one due to the refs.

Statistically not true

They're the 6th best passing defense... Everyone rants and raves about the rushing defense and shutting down Henry, but the Ravens are actually ranked just as highly against the pass.

He knows football, but it's tough for me to think of him as anything but a piece of shit.

Unsure how much it matters in general as it'll vary from person to person, but he has no experience coaching pros either, so who knows.

Yeah...dont think he's authoritive enough but does have a good eye for talent...and also a good game planner.
But unlike college...he can't recruit his whole team.
But we will see.

The Ravens love to blitz and the Bills are the No.1 scoring offense against the Blitz. It works out well on paper. Baltimore also has the worst passing offense in the entire NFL and worst among teams still in the playoffs.

Like I said, Bills biggest issue is stopping the run since the Bills rushing defense is terrible and they're playing the No.1 rushing offense.

Yes, quoting the top rushing team's statistics in the passing game and labeling it as "worst" in the league is disingenuous. There are only so many minutes in the game.

And @LaGOAT thought the same thing when he quoted the same post and he brought up the effectiveness of the Ravens' cornerbacks. You also said the Ravens pass defense doesn't stack up after that as well, which I think is pretty easy to disagree with.

It's disingenuous because in what world would the best rushing offense in the league also have an opportunity to rank highly in passing offense? At best you could hope for it to be balanced. The stats aren't displaying an inability to pass the ball, it's showing that it can only be supplementary when they're averaging 7 yards per carry as team, or your QB rushes for 100 yards himself. Who would bother passing more at that point? Not a single defensive coordinator in the league would describe the Ravens as having the worst passing offense, in fact it's routinely described as one of the toughest to gameplan for due to the RPO.

I enjoy quoting people in order to have a discussion, instead of being met with unnecessary namecalling over a misunderstanding.

Despite what you think in the end, the Ravens objectively have been the worst team in passing the ball which was my original comment pointing out.

Now that the Ravens are gone, I can rest easy. I'm not as worried for Cleveland/KC as I was for them.

Felt like a vintage Brian Billick-era Ravens performance. You hold an offense like that to a single touchdown, 220 yds total, 4/13 on third down and still lose. But I guess you could also put forth the scenario of how likely it is to win a game if Justin Tucker misses more than 1 field goal from under 50 yards... which has literally never happened. Just wasn't in the cards I guess.

Not really sure what changes are needed, how involved Roman actually is in the pass game concepts or if it's all Dave Culley or what. But someone just isn't doing their job there. And again, the O-line played like scrubs. Mekari turned into Skura somehow...

Even the Titans looked completely inept against them. It's not like the Bills even tried running it in the first half anyway. I'm surprised Allen completed as many passes as he did, the ball was sailing/dying every play.
