I mean the only way that can be true is if the Chiefs make the SB for the next 10 years straight.

This absolutely could happen, but I'm not sure I'd bet on him putting up another one of those performances back to back, especially in the Super Bowl.


Unless you think they're Patriots 2.0, that's a pretty bold claim. And even they had their off years. I think their division will put up a tougher fight than the AFC East did in the 00s and 10s.

Fair enough, but that's not the same as saying they pretty much are the Patriots 2.0. I wouldn't bet against them winning more Super Bowls though.

Not to mention, I don't think it's as predictable as all that. Injuries are always a thing, as the Browns game illustrated. The Chiefs are likely to be a force in the AFC for quite a while, I don't disagree with that, but every football fan knows things rarely go to plan. Especially long term.

If you just look at the AFC West, the Chargers may have found a legit QB in Herbert, the Raiders are still on the upswing. No idea where the Broncos are headed, but I'd say overall this division could be a healthy challenge for the Chiefs in a year or two. It certainly seems more promising than the Bills, Jets, and Dolphins from the East 15 years ago.

Chiefs vs. Bucs will be interesting. I guess Brady proved he really is a great player as he got to the Superbowl without Belichek or the Patriots. This will be my first NFL game for the year/season to boot, lulz.

Of course you wouldn't right now. They're the AFC champs this year. But the problem with being good is each year you got more veterans that need paid. That's going to eat away at the chiefs roster as time goes on.

The Bills will likely continue to improve as Josh Allen isn't going anywhere. No doubt the Pats will too. The Ravens would certainly be a team to be feared if they ever get skill position players and if Lemar stabilizes, which I think he probably will once he has NFL quality line play again. Browns also seem to be building a real quality team.

Sadly, my Steelers are probably on the decline but we'll see how that goes. It's going to be a very different team next year.

No. Honestly we need a starting running back and run blocking. I'd like them to start by figuring that out.

Who is playing QB next year then? What's the post-Roethlisberger Steelers going to look like? I think the issue with addressing other areas before QB is none of it really matters if he just retires.

In a pinch they picked up Haskins. None of it matters if they can't get 1 yard when they need it. If they can't get that I see no point in paying big for mediocrity.

The Colts need a QB. They'll be a in a better place with Stafford than they will be without him maybe but idk.

Idk, I can see them needing to shore up the run blocking for sure, but I thought Connor was solid at times.

I mean, it depends on what Roethlisberger wants to do. Of the available options the Steelers have he's probably still the best one. Even though long term that's a bit of dead end at this point. But with his contract you can't really do anything in terms of somebody like Watson until he retires or his contract ends next year.

They also just need a lot of other pieces offensively. The run blocking obviously needs dealt with. Conner is ok but not great, gets hurt a lot, and is a free agent this year. He was outperformed by Snell which says something. We need a TE. Roethlisberger and the defense compensated for a lot of flaws early in the season. And on top of that a lot of players have reached free agency for us. I'm hoping they can keep Dupree and Spillane.

Regardless it's going to be a very different Steeler team next year.
