Never though I would do that but Idk, I want to hear people's opinions:

King (Fully Grown Wings) vs The One

Do you think that with what King has shown he takes it or The One still beats him? What difficulty?
The one takes it.... Nigga one shotted AM-Mel with one hand. :emocat

Wouldnt be suprised if King was stronger than “the one”. He’s probably way stronger than AM Meliodas.

He's not. Escanor will remain the strongest Sin.

Pre-noon, there's a bit of wiggle room.

Why should he remain the strongest Sin?

This past chapter is really messing with how y'all view this series.

Please keep things in context. It's literally just been one chapter. King is not the stronger than The One. We don't even know either of their PLs, but it's incredibly likely that Escanor will remain the strongest Sin. Nakaba has went out of his way to point that out that he was unsure when to bring him in because he knew he was too strong. Nevermind that Pride is considered the worst Sin one could ever commit, so thematically, it'd make sense if he were to remain the strongest Sin. Every single piece of hype towards Escanor points to him being the strongest Sin from in story hype to hype from Nakaba.

Yes, The One is clearly stronger than AM Mel and it's possible that King is as strong as, if not stronger than AM Mel, but there is likely still a vast gulf of power between King and The One. It's extremely likely that The One would've just as easily fodderized 4C Mael like King did.

Escanor is only stronger than all of them at certain times. He can't truly be called the strongest because of this IMO. That's why some people are freaking out and asking for some kind of power ups for him because the others are getting stronger :lmao. When the gap between the Sins and the antagonists was larger he looked more impressive but it is not the case now.

100% = :super

But,

Escanor = 99% revealed
=> Irrelevant (Like Ban)
So, Idk...

King > 4C Mael
= Disaster!
[Hope not]

IMO,
King vs Mel = Situational (EoS)
[ Distance = King, CQC = Mel ]

T O > Sins
Others = :super Support

Gowther = Mindrek
Merlin = Merlin
Ban = Depower
Diane = Empower

Doubt
T O >> 4C Mael

It's circumstantial, sure, but when those circumstances are met, he is the strongest Sin as The One, which is what this discussion is about. Like I said, Pre Noon, there is some room for King to beat Escanor, but while he's The One? He's likely going to continue to be unstoppable and remain the strongest Sin.

Oh, I agree with you. I don't think for a second that King has a chance against the one.

King still has strength. He has muscles and ligaments, he’s just very weak. Overall a power level of 0 doesn’t mean you literally have no muscles.

Personally I think Ban would easily beat part 1 King. King struggled against fodder knights once his strength got sapped and then noted his armor was a pain. Ban is not only stronger, but would also have more power from stealing.
Yeah, I definitely don't agree with this.

Ban would gain nothing from stealing from King. Unlike at Edinburgh and with Galan and Mel, a serious King wouldn't be getting up close and personal with Ban and I doubt Ban would have a moments peace to actually use the technique. And if he did, the most King would lose would be the sharpness of his moves, since he's not even wearing armor anymore. But it wouldn't be instantaneous. With Physical Hunt, King and Diane weren't even paying attention or aware of Ban's shenanigans, so he had plenty of time to sit back and take everything they had. In Vaizel he had to take it slowly during the fight with Mel, but Mel still had plenty of time to keep fighting before Ban was even able to finish.

Both Ban and King struggled against fodder knights before, but given what we've seen now, it doesn't make sense for them to do so. Ban struggled against Jericho and Guila, but that obviously shouldn't have happened because we know that, even without a weapon, Ban could instantly stomp them. Diane struggling against the vampires makes sense because her key attribute was her physical strength at that point in time. King struggling doesn't make sense because he doesn't actually fight with his physical power, he fights with magic. If Physical Hunt/Hunter's Fest stole magic, it'd be clear that Ban would be King's superior, but that's not the case. I don't know what Nakaba was drinking during the creation of Edinburgh, but a lot of crap goes against what's been further established in the series.

Do I think Ban would have a chance to beat King? Yeah. I don't think it'd be that easy though. Sapping strength isn't going to be the instant win button for Ban just like Fossilization wouldn't be the instant win button for King who, might I add, was also basically holding back in the City of the Dead. We know what he's fully capable of. Ban let him capture him, sure, but there is nothing saying that King wouldn't have eventually hit him with Fossilization should they have really gone at it.

Ban doesnt have to gain much, King will just lose what little he had and that will be detrimental. Plus Ban is just as fast as King. He easily dodged his bumblebee and even Mel had to interrupt him. There's really only 2 things king can do A. Try to get out of fox hunt range, but Ban can just move in, or B. Hope petrification works.

Sure King doesnt use strength to fight, but he still has a body that still complies with muscles. I'd imagine feeling weak and enfeebled would limit one's abilities to use energy. Like when Mael put him in pain and he had to struggle to move the spirit spear. The reason it took more effort was because the damage made him weak

Also Ban didn't have to take it slow with Mel. I believe he said he was intentionally only taking bits and pieces for fun.

Which one is 2nd Mark Mel? Is that Post Purgatory?
Yes. It's pretty much just demon mark Mel because it's his only demon mark at this point in the story but people refer to it as "2nd demon mark".

So you're just gonna ignore the basic swirlie mark that mel used at the beginning of the series??

I'm talking about him at full power, which he is, at this point in the story.

I also think that The One is still above him.

Meliodas (without a commandment) vs Mael (without a grace). Who do you think will win?

Mel wins hands down. Commandments don't boost power level unless they are absorbed, so Mel without commandment should be as strong as he was with the commandment. Mael's grace Sun, on the other hand, clearly boosts his power during daytime and Mel was able to equal him with his 2nd Mark outside of AM. We don't know what time of the day it was (personally I think it was dawn) but the point here is that any version of Mael at day is stronger than Mael without Sun.
