It's prolly cause Kintarou showed a different (and better, more compelte) playing style against Oni, it makes sense.

I think it's more on what the player can do instead of their prefer form. Yukimura prefer playstyle is surely counter puncher. But say, Atobe true playing style is based on attacking lot, more similar to aggressive baseliner. Same with Kintarou. But since all 3 are capable of doing everything, they are all rounder.

That's even more erroneous, yikes. Maybe these stats should be taken with a grain of salt. Kintaro has power exceeding the 108th-Degree of the Wave Surge. Sanada's power is never shown to be anywhere near that high. Yes, Ka and Rai should be able to knock rackets out of one's hand, but Super ... Mountain Storm leaves explosions and craters in it's wake. Stop playing Konomi, there's no way Kintaro and Sanada have the same amount of power. Kintaro's power is greater than Gin's.

Base stats are cool, but they don't really tell the whole story, Yamato has the lowest stats we've seen, but he was in the 3rd court before anyone knew about his special shot, and he was chosen to face a member of the 1st string.


But still, these profiles are awesome, you rock Sai!

All of the black jersey middle schoolers(with the possible exception of Kintaru) had lower stats than the 1st stringers they played and they won, plus Atobe and Niou had lower combined stats then their G10 opponents, and I believe shiraishi and akaya had lower stats then their opponents, even with angel mode. Stats only show so much

So, Sai, I see a problem there. Tezuka never showed Muga, unless it's just assumed he had it, but it was less effective than his only style. I do remember that that PP bit listed Tezuka as being able to access Muga.

It was always implied that the "Doors" were all more beneficial extensions of Muga. Someone who can enter the "Doors" can enter Muga as well, it's just that they personally choose not to. For instance, Sanada doesn't do it because he realizes it's weakness of sapping your energy away.

Tezuka's comments from coaches were barely even positive which means they were comparing him at a G10 level.
Pretty much confirming this guy is unquestionably G10 level lol.
To say "His own playstyle is not very powerful" with a 4 in Power can only make sense at G10 level.

it's about the Bible tennis of Shiiraishi.
This Bible is not a technique right ? Shiiraishi use this to counter almost all Fuji's counters.
Is it kind of a play-style as well?

I'm just curious because i still can't understand how the Bible tennis can be so strong & it can defeat almost all Fuji's counters.

The Bible refers to Shiraishi's playstyle which is tennis in it's most basic form. It's a style of tennis that revolves around nothing but the fundamentals, and it doesn't make use of flashy techniques that you usually see in PoT (However, it's false in the sense that Shiraishi does have a flashy move in the form of the Roundtable Shot). It's so strong because Shiraishi practices nothing but the basics, and it's said that to master something you must master the basics. Fuji got beat because it's the opposite of his style. Fuji, who was always revered as a genius with his showy and fancy Counters got beat by a playstyle which uses little to no techniques. The match was one of those "Hardwork can beat talent" kind of battles you see so often in Shonen manga.

but i feel weird on how Shiraishi manage to counter Fuji Disappearing serve.
When Fuji played Jirou, the course of the ball went to sides of the court no matter how Jirou hit the ball.
but with Shiraishi, the course of disappearing serve went to the back of the court?
