I like the chapter. Some designs were amazing and power levels are on point, but a coupe of "movements" felt strange. Maybe gOda is spoiling me too much.

Chapter 3 is out for those who care.

Rather good rendition of the novel's chapters covering this part. Although they skipped a lot of Blackbeard stuff. Understandable given that this is mainly for Ace and Boichi probably couldn't cover everything.

Finally, people can begin to appreciate Ace.

He was strong enough to take on Jimbei at the start of his period on the Moby Dick.

He couldn't even get Whitebeard to use his DF and his Haki was so strong he couldn't hurt Whitebeard with his flames. By the end, he's literally burning Whitebeard and actually requiring Whitebeard to make use of his DF. This is just 3 months in.

It also seems Ace went to Wano after he became a Whitebeard Pirate, can't say for sure. It would make more sense for him since his goal from the start was to take on Whitebeard. So, Yamato should actually be far superior to Jimbei since Ace likely fought with Yamato over 3 months after he'd fought Jimbei and become much stronger.

I'm glad this dropped so people can finally stop saying Ace couldn't use arms or obs. This was always stupid and stemmed from the fact all of Ace's fights were pre-TS. The manga is good and Boichi has improved in drawing One Piece characters.

Boichi did it again... almost every version he draws looks better than Odas... ALso, nice little cameo from Luffy and Sabo

I am really curious to see where Deuce is right now... Ace using Observation was amazing as welll... although his final fight with whitebeard was more HxH liek than OP (Gon vs Netero if i recall during the exams)....

SO the Giraffe user got killed by teach? thats how Kaku got the fruit i guess.
