Could care less implies that you care, but you could care less. Couldn't care less is the actual saying, because it implies you well, couldn't care any less than you do.

Even with evidence, you wouldn't believe it. And that I have evidence for haha. Peace bro
You can keep quoting it however you want, you get the point.

When you have evidence, we'll see.

At this point I'm not sure even Oda has fully fleshed out what One Piece will be.
With the Roger Pirates' reaction I suspect it'll be fairly meta.

Sometimes the reaction of people in the know makes me think at laugh tale they learned how utterly doomed Imu's plans are and they just found it hilarious that he has been playing god like a jackass for 800 years.

At this point, I think people genuinely don't even want to know.
I think it reflects poorly on an author if he can write a story for 20 years and people still don't get it.

As far as I'm concerned, anyone can literally figure out what the One Piece was by the time they've read the first 600 chapters. Skypiea was a huge hint, if anyone read the story with that context, it's so difficult to miss. WCI, he outright said what it was.

As far as the Manga tells me, One Piece is literally the Poneglyphs that exist at Laughtale.
You have posted the same thing dozens of times on this forum

And I always answered you the same thing

Rayleigh conversation with the Straw Hats in Sabaody makes it clear that the One Piece and the Ancient History are not the same thing

- Luffy: Rayleigh, don't tell us what the One Piece is or if it exists

- Rayleigh: Ok I won't spoil it

- Rayleigh: Btw we found out everything about the Ancient History is if you want to know

Also, why did Roger laugh if it's just a Poneglyph? We can see Oden there reacting with the rest, and he's the only one who could read a Poneglyph...

Nope, he never said it wasn't - He didn't admit to anything.

Robin simply asked, and she had no idea the thing she as asking about is One Piece, people don't know it's history.

Also, why did Roger laugh if it's just a Poneglyph? We can see Oden there reacting with the rest, and he's the only one who could read a Poneglyph...
Because the Poneglyph is a document of history.
Because One Piece is History, TALES.
Thus why he named the Island Laugh Tales.
He found the history funny.
Poneglyphs give the full history, lol.

What else is on Laughtale besides Poneglyph bud?

--- Double Post Merged, , Original Post Date: ---

Just went on an Island no one had been on in 800 years.
Just calls treasure he left behind "A tale full of laughs" - funny stories.

It cannot be the One Piece... the only thing that we thus far know in the series... is the only thing in Laugh Tale.

Like being told a Bank has something valuable, you go in there and the only thing at the Bank is money... and then you conclude "nah.... this can't be the thing in the bank everyone says is so valuable... must be something else".
Like being told the only thing we know is at Laughtale... isn't the One Piece - OK fair, what else is there? And then we can argue which other thing besides Poneglyphs can be the One Piece..

Literally, the logic is so straight forward:
  1. One Piece is in LAUGH tale.
  2. Whatever is in Laugh Tale must be the One Piece.
  3. What else is at Laugh Tale besides the 9 Poneglyphs telling the full story/tales of history?

If you can find something else there, sure, until then, you have 0 argument my guy. You don't even need to agree it's the One Piece, just tell me what else is at Laughtale @Fox666 👍

I'm not even sure why you asked this question.
Oden can read a language the others can't, of course he's interpreting - thus they understand and laugh. This is why Roger recruited him.

It's like asking why French people can understand Chinese stories when there's a Chinese interpreter there. Not sure what point you were trying to prove here.

Roger recruited him to interpret... just like the SHs have Robin to interpret.... just like all the Emperors want Robin/Pudding... to interpret.

Oden was laughing with the others, as if all of them just saw what the One Piece is... not like he spend the night translating a story which he already knows...

Why did Vegapunk stated the One Piece "would have the power to decide the fate of the world"? The Ancient Weapons could do that, but their location is already listed on other Poneglyphs or already in possession of the WG

Also didn't Oda stated some time ago fans haven't yet figured out what the One Piece is? I assume that excludes the #1 obvious answer (Ancient History)...

Brother, you denial is amazing.

Go read chapter 966 and 967.

Roger literally said the LAUGH FULL OF TALES is treasure, lol.

Not sure if you're aware of the term of concept "knowledge is power".
Uranus is what the WG have. They still needed Pluton because like they said, if anyone acquires Pluton, they will rule the world.
It's part of why reading Poneglyphs is banned.

Did it ever occur to you why the WG banned reading Poneglyphs for the past 800 years? It's the greatest sin in the world. Imagine, documents being banned for 800 years... reading history is the worst crime in the world... that doesn't bring up any red flags in your reasoning at all? lol?

Furthermore, not sure how ignorant of the fact that the WG which was created 800 years ago was built on lies and the fact there is a 1 world leader.

Learning the truth of the world would mean the WG's consolidation for power would come to an end.

This is how I know you don't know what you're talking about, you're typing to type.

How is Oden supposed to know of stories in Laughtale when no one has been there before? All he knows is how to read the language, not that's he's read the Poneglyphs on Laughtale, mind you.... a place no one had visited for 800 years. Do I need to explain what time is too? 800 years.

It's like saying because people can understand English, they end up having all the knowledge in the world. I guess since I know English, I now have knowledge of the Epstein files... like I don't need to go to the White house, I just automatically have access to it.
Understanding languages doesn't work like that, you have to be physically there - you don't just become omniscient just because you understand a language.

Dude, please read.

Oden wasn't reading a story he already knows lol.

The Poneglyps are on Lauughtale for the past 800 years, he can only read the langauge, he hadn't read the Laugh Tale Poneglyphs until he went to Laugh Tale. Brotha, read, lol.

He can't read something he doesn't have access to. Do you get it? Lol.

@Fox666

Just answer this one question, what else is at Laugh Tale?

I don't know for sure, my theories are likely wrong...

Of course I not knowing what it is doesn't prove another claim to be correct...

Okay, so... What is currently on Laughtale FACTUALLY?
--- Double Post Merged, , Original Post Date: ---

Even Kaido is interested in this secret on Laughtale. Must be coincidence that Kaido was trying to get the secret from Oden, and since he was dead, he tried to vassals.

All of this mention of secrets of the world, void history... all coincidence, has absolutely nothing to do with the series.

If you're not going to exercise any intellectual honesty, so be it.

I agree, knowledge is power. But I don't see how having full knowledge of the past would apply power to whoever finds the One Piece. Like, practically, how do you see that fitting into the story?

With what Vegapunk said about the One Piece "There is no stopping the tide; the fate of the world now rests in the hands of the one who finds it! The person who lays claim to the One Piece." I just don't think the history of the planet would be enough to give credit to Vegapunks claim.

It can be said by looking at the past you can predict the future, but then, is that enough for anyone to be able to decide the fate of the world?

If Buggy claims it, knows the history, how does that make him able to decide the fate of the world?

Also to note that when Rayleigh speaks of finding the truth of the world, and Usopp tries to ask about the One Piece, he speaks in a way that implies those are separate of each other.

He also mentions that Roger couldn't read the Poneglyphs, he just had the Voice of All Things. I suppose we found out about Oden after but it is worth mentioning that Rayleigh did state that this is how Roger was able to "infer" the Poneglyphs.

I just don't think the history of the planet would be enough to give credit to Vegapunks claim.
Do you remember why Vegapunk died? because what he was researching could only be learnt from knowledge only available during the Void Century. Vegapunk's genius was 500 years ahead of the current generation... and even then he admits the Ancient Kingdom were still far more advanced than anything he could produce.
I really don't think you understand how important the history is.

I also don't understand how you, or anyone... can see the Gorosei actually make an appearance simply to make sure Vegapunk doesn't say anything related to the Void Century. And then question how much of a threat the Void History is.
The Gorosei rarely come down to do anything... yet all 5 of them came down... to stop a broadcast speaking about history... but we're really going to claim this history can't be that important, lol.

I agree, knowledge is power. But I don't see how having full knowledge of the past would apply power to whoever finds the One Piece. Like, practically, how do you see that fitting into the story?
Easily, the story literally explains it.

For one, the world thinks the world is ruled democratically.
There are approximately 200 countries allied with the WG... paying tributes, taxes and whatnot.
They attend Reverie, they listen to the Gorosei and take their counsel.

Like Joker said if you recall... just knowledge of Imu's existence would shake the world. Remember how the WG tried to kill him because of this knowledge? The WG have ruled the world for 800 years now.

What do you think would happen simply from the world learning... the WG have lied to them? All 200 countries will end their affiliation with the WG. All of their influence will end then and there.

Again, if you have any recollection of Egghead, it's like most of it has been forgotten - not sure people even know the point of Egghead arc. What did Vegapunk do that the WG was trying to stop? They were trying to make sure Vegapunk's broadcast wasn't heard..
But why are they concerned about a broadcast? Vegapunk said the world government was trying to literally sink the world. They sunk a tonne of countries during the Void Century, but Vegapunk can't prove it unless he has access to the One Piece - the 9 Poneglyphs at Laughtale that narrates what exactly happened during the Void Century.
If the world finds out the WG whom they follow is actually trying to kill them... the WG would lose all credibility.

If Buggy claims it, knows the history, how does that make him able to decide the fate of the world?
Of course. Access to knowledge that would end any trust in the WG.... people would be looking to new leadership. Furthemore, access to Ancient Weapons. This is knowledge only gained from reading Poneglyphs. Only reason the SHs knew Pluton was in Wano was.... Poneglyphs.

It's ironic how people don't seem to understand this story is literally about the WG stopping people from reading Poneglyphs when it comes down to it, lol.

The Void Century's information like VP himself says... also has the answers to the energy he's trying to create - wars are mostly about energy like Jimbei said, it would pretty much end a lot of wars. Access to technological advancements. Ancient Weapons. Influence. It literally makes you the most powerful person in the series.

Also to note that when Rayleigh speaks of finding the truth of the world, and Usopp tries to ask about the One Piece, he speaks in a way that implies those are separate of each other
OF COURSE they think it's separate things, they don't know what it is, lol.

Person A) David, What's in this box?
Person B) David, Where can I find a book that gives the recipe to making cake?

To both people, they're asking different questions. They don't know the recipe is in the box meaning they're inherently asking the same thing. This is literally what Robin and Usopp did.

Again, question no one can answer:
What else is at Laughtale besides Poneglyphs?

Right ok I got you now. So the understanding of the knowledge disrupts the influence of the current WG. Thanks for breaking that down.

WG needs resources to fuel their Holy Land. That explains why they don't just nuke everyone with a scorched earth approach.

I still think the One Piece is something different than another Poneglyph. We have discussed that there are already Poneglyphs on Laugh Tale and for the One Piece to be just a more comprehensive Poneglyph is... I dunno man it just seems too on the nose and lackluster, but that's my feelings on it. It might just be.

I am still in the camp that the One Piece has something to do with Imu. There seems to be more to the world than what we know. Like Joker mentioning that if he had Law's fruit or just the immortality then he could take over the world with what is hidden deep in Marijoe. Makes me think that there a potentially other items that work similarly and the One Piece might be one of those?

Your theory is much more comprehensive and thought out. I am basically operating on a hunch, comparatively.

It's kinda odd to think that the tragic world history would make the Roger Pirates laugh too.

I still think it was something stolen from Imu and that has hindered him somehow, "You may have won the battle but you haven't won the war" kinda scenario, THAT would be funny.

So in short. The One Piece is an ancient stolen object from Imu that Joyboy took as some "Insurance" that if he failed, the next Joyboy could find it and have another chance at winning the never ending war.

I believe Joker's plan here was to takeover Imu with the personality swap. He said had he been able to use Law's fruit, he'd be able to rule the world. Taking Imu's body over would mean Joker essentially ruled the world.

It's kinda odd to think that the tragic world history would make the Roger Pirates laugh too.
I don't think Roger's laughing at tragedy.
We know Joyboy/Nika fights in a way that makes people laugh, we saw the Elbaph giants laughing at Luffy when he fought the Gorosei.

I think what Roger found hilarious was not the tragedy, but a concept the WG was trying to end. In Logue Town, the narrator quotes Roger who said "That which cannot be stopped: Inherited will, a man's dream, and the flow of time. As long as man continues to seek out the answer to freedom, these things shall never be stopped.".

I think what Roger and co. were laughing at it the idea that the WG believe they can destroy the spirit of man, the ability to dream, to desire, to seek freedom.... Roger is someone who is a dreamer, someone who seeks adventure, and the WG even with their 1000 year tyranny are going to fail. They're trying to stop something that can't be stopped, and Roger Pirates are laughing at the absurdity.
And probably at Nika's antics too.

I just think we might not rule anything out at this point.
So it could actually be Half-Life 3 that would explain a lot 🤯.

But in all seriously I just assumed it was at least actual treasure and knowledge. But I agree we can't really rule anything out yet.
But it definitely has something to do with that egg on Roger's ship.

Dunno if it was mentioned already but what if the Strawhat is actually a hint of what the world has to look like. Imagine the red band around the hat being the red line, the brim being half of the world shifted into a flattened state and the crown is the half of the world that remains unchanged. So the One Piece is basically the answer to how to save the world from sinking, modeled after a strawhat.
