I'm been watching more OPLA reviews on YouTube and I'm loving how many new fans One Piece has gained.

They have been announcing the cast for new season 2. What do you think of it?

No problems here, but I wouldn't have an issue unless the person hired is on record of being bad at acting. I just hope news of Robin, Vivi, Crocodile, Mr. 1 and Mr. 2 are announced through official channels and not leaked. That said, I'm really excited about season 2 and hope it's just as or more successful than season 1.

I'd argue David Dastmalchian is quite recognized, even if not the biggest name in the industry.

But so far so good. I think we'll have another semi-well established name for Crocodile, but other than probably fresh faces. And that's good. With recent info it seems unlikely, but I still hope a bit Jamie Lee Curtis as Kureha.

I hate the fancasts that are like Danny DeVito Wapol, Javier Bardem Crocodile, Donald Glover Mr. 5 etc.

I hate those stupid fancastings but I absolutely want to see the actors from those stupid fancastings do cosplays just to gas up the series. Javier Bardem Crocodile would be quite a sight to behold as a bit of promotional art but nothing like that should be on the show proper.

Been confirmed now she's not playing her. Probably (and hopefully) gonna be a lesser known actress then, but if they're going for someone well known then I could see Jane Lynch doing a good job.

Ok, Jamie lee Curtis is obviously even way too good for OP to begin with BUT I think this opens up the possibility of a more faithful casting (obviously curtis would have been amazing). Kureha is 150 years old but has young woman energy to her. The... best way to get that on a character would be to get a younger actress and use makeup artist stuff to age her face 100 years.

It's not confirmed so take it with a grain of salt, but i think she might be, reasons is that she's started being followed in social medias by several One piece LA cast.

It was several hours before a friend mentioned offhand she was glad Mohinder was playing Cobra. Heroes was locked away wayyyyy far back in some garage storage unit in the old memory palace and I just did not recognize him at first

I can only ever see him as Mohinder, Heroes is like core memory for me

Heroes s1 was peak cliffhanger popcorn TV back in my teens. I was so disappointed by the following seasons even back then, but s1 is still superb to me. So no issues with this casting for me.

Nor for any of the others. Especially Sagal - that's actually perfection.
