Luffy boost his body metabolism when his using his legs to pump his blood. This way he could do what Soru did actually, kick the ground around 10 times in instant as he claimed when he battle Blueno on Enies Lobby. He just mimicking enemies move does. For that he's grateful .

i wonder how many more crewman will BB and luffy get. i think BB will get at least 2 more. he needs someone to build him a ship and he needs at least 1 female character. I think luffy will get at least 1. by the time they duke it out for the title of pirate king, their crews will just about mirror each other

i dont understand why everyone thinks that luffy and BB will be the ones that will fight for PK at the end. i do not see that happening at all. if there is to be a fight at the very end of the series between the two people that might be PK there is no way that luffy will be facing off against BB. oo and SH would destroy BB's crew.

the strawhats and the blacbeards mirror each other at this point. the blackbeards can be almost called the darker version of the strawhats. BB has the will of d as well as luffy, and im sure that will somehow conect them to one piece. i think its the reason whitebeard hasnt become pirate king yet, and if the strawhats took on the blackbeards now they would be crushed. BB alone would give them hell.

thats jus it. its too obvious to make SH vs BB. remember OP is not like other series, i dont doubt that someone else will appear or a secret will be told later on that can prevent this. will they fight, OF COURSE, but will BB be Luffy's last hurdle, I TRULY DONT BELIEVE SO.

The BB pirates are on the rise, they are only becoming known for their evil plans. He is clearly the exact opposite of luffy. Even from Romance Dawn we see that luffy is aiming to be a peace man. And he wants to fight Morgania, who personifies that more than BB. It would make sense that BB is highly involved in the coming "new era" of this age. Interesting if the will of D is what allows entrance to Raftel. Which I heard titled "Rough Tale" as in perhaps it's all a big story just to incite a pirate age.. Anyways..

BB will be one of several enemies who the SH face in the NW. But for sure he represents the epitome of what the SH detest the most. If not the last major enemy then the most epic...IMO

Actually remember that BB completely opposes this "new era" (your are thinking of Doflamingo) he clearly said so when he first met luffy, he still a man full of dreams just like luffy. They have the same dreams the only difference is their personalities obviously and the way they do things. I personally think one of the yonkou could be the last boss..i think one of the two remaining ones is gonna be really evil..so luffy is gonna kick his a$$ to kingdom come..i'm thinking kaidou since his name has been said several times and he seems like a ruthless and opportunistic person..i mean if shanks fought with him and we know luffy is knda like shanks they might figght each other someday.

At the end of that chapter Oda states it's the end of an era.. sorry about the terminology. BB is the personification of a Morgania and therefore most likely Luffy's rival. Kaidou does seem evil and ruthless, but he's a member of the existing power structure. I suspect on all sides of world power things will shift and as the SH emerge as new powers so will the BB pirates.

My point is if the final battle (Boss??) would have to be either BB or someone with similar history with the SH.

Yeah there is no way there would be a father/son battle for Pirate King because Dragon isn't even a pirate, he's a revolutionary.

I'm starting to believe that Blackbeard is the final villain more and more because he does seem like the opposite of Luffy except the fact that they have the same dream.

If Oda makes a new character come out of the blue to be Luffy's final opponent for One Piece, that would ruin the plot of the story in my opinion. The last opponent needs to be someone Luffy has considered a rival otherwise there would be no climax to the action. For a manga as epic as One Piece, Oda needs to show the clash of not just two pirates or two fighters, but the battle of two dreams or ambitions. That's why I consider Blackbeard or Coby to be the top two candidates for the final opponent title.

Lafitte = Brooke
Burgess = Sanji
Doc Q = Chopper
Van Auger = Ussop
And now Shiryuu = Zoro

So in time the as the strawhats the BB crew will grow so that also Nami, Franky, Robin and probably another new crew member (my guess would be a fishman... perhaps Jimbei) can engage in the mess.

But that fight will not be the end of the series as i guess Luffy as the pirate king will take on the WG and thats were Zoro will fight Mihawk and Coby will become the fleet admiral of the new era..

How is Doc Q ANYTHING like Chopper? Are you just doing those comparisons because they have the same JOB DESCRIPTIONS?

By your logic..any pirate crew with the a captain wanting to be king, a swordsman, navigator, sniper, chef, doctor, archaeologist, mechanic and musician would be a viable candidate.

...I'm sure that's oh-so-rare in the OP world. >___>

Then how about naming one such crew (except Roger's) that was described in so much detail with all the diffrent jobs and abilities? It's painfully obvious - at least it seems so - that Oda did foreshadow this and that in the end it will be a fight of fate vs. dream which will influence the coming age (not that the series should end there since it doesn't fulfil their dreams and I want to see that happen Oda, hear me? ^^')

The only facts we have about Dadan is, that he/she took care of Ace and Luffy, while Garp and Dragon were off the island being marine and revolutionist. It was never explained who Luffys mother is ir what happened to her.

Ofc I'm serious and I am not "just" going on the Job Desriptions..

Imo they are the Dark/twisted version of their Strawhat counter part.

BB = An evil selfish D carrier but still a freedom fighter.
Luffy = The opposite but also a freedom fighter and a carrier of the D.

Lafitte = Slim, tall and Sickly looking and Violent but still a Gentlemen.
Brooke = Slim, tall and Dead looking and peace loving Gentlemen.

Van Auger = Serious, Calm and Sad but an excellent marksman, Analytic and a good runner.
Ussop = The opposite on the first three but the same on the latter if not the best on the last...

Burgess = Boastful, big and a Wrestler(Using his upper body) but still imo a true fighter (Not using fruits or weapons) and Hotheaded in fights.
Sanji = Perceptive, small and a Capoeira type(Using his lower body) but still a true fighter and also very hotheaded in fights.

Doc Q (and Stronger) = The Oldest, sick and tired but still a doctor and seems to be close with an (or) animal(s)
Chopper = The youngest, healthy and spirited, is a doctor and is close to animals (he is an animal)

Shiryuu = Deceitful, treasonous and an assassin type(Chooses the side that benefits him). A swordsman, probably the strongest in the crew after the captain and a heavy fate believer...
Zoro = Loyal and a Samurai type(Always on the side of his master even to death) the strongest in the crew after the captain and a heavy fate believer...


I know some of them are kinda Far fetched but I think you get my point...

Why is zorro a heavy fate believer? I thought the SH's wouldn't want to reside to things like pure luck? Ofcoars they have tons of luck (Luffy excells in this part), but I thought they would renounce things like fate, like the heroes in the greec stories.
