Hey Imitorar^^ we don't know if the Luffy is still as old as in the beginning of OP. And Zorro, Nami, Ussop and Sanji could be a year older too right now.

The SHs are less than a year on their voyage.

Also like Imitorar said, she must be at least 27. I see her around 30. btw I can't see her joining. If Pell survived a giant explosion then she can survive love sickness, for gads sake. So "the not join=die" idea is not relay valid, IMO.

Yeah, but Pell avoided dramatic death, not comedic death. It'd be harder to avoid a comedic death where it's explicitly stated that Hancock dies, whereas Pell could just have been hit by the explosion and survived due to sheer plot-armor toughness. I guess if Luffy gave her a picture or something it would work. Or better yet, he tells her to carry on with her normal life, even while he's away, and because she loves him so much and to do so would be to fulfill Luffy's request, Hancock does it without dying. In fact, I think I favor that last idea to the point of a theory.

I certainly can't see Hancock in the crew. She has no dream, she's not a mis-fit against the world, and her past make her too pushy and in need of control to function as part of a crew that's like a family. I could have seen Brook fitting with the crew once they actually liked him, even if I didn't wanna admit I was wrong, and thus kept saying that he wouldn't join even after his relationship with Laboon was revealed. But Hancock really seems like she would clash with the mechanics of the Straw Hat crew. I view Hancock as a means to an end. Make friends with Hancock, and get to Impel Down. That's it, really.

Actually it's emotional, not comedic one. And about Luffy age, Oda Sensei in SBS clearly state that Luffy age doesn't increase.

I still remain in the Hancock isn't joining group, and I'll tell you why, because meeting Luffy hasn't changed her, and Oda told us this with the Baby seal dog scene where she kicked them, now i of Oda could have done that just to make Hancock be holding up appearances in front of the marines, but i think that was over kill..... and I agree I don't think she's one to fit in, I mean if she became of SH then Sanji would be stone 24/7

You know what I think Kuma has sent the SH's to places not which they wanted to go (with perhaps the exception of Zoro just because he actually asked him) but to places where they could benefit both themselves and others the most..... for example...Sanji: Get over his weakness for woman.... Chopper: learn to PROPERLY stand up for himself.... Robin: Use her DF to build the bridge and free all the slaves....don't relaly have theories on the other, but maybe give Usopp a DF? or at least a supply of them to use on some weaponry or something.....Like I said i think Zoro has been sent to a place that he wanted, which I'm sure is just

And i dunno a secluded castle might be perfect for that? Oh I dunno...

Each devil fruit looks different from one another so we can only compare to the few we have seen.

Speaking of devil fruits... I have had a question in mind for a while now. What would happen to a Fishman that ate a devilfruit?

My tentative answer is: they would no longer be able to swim underwater, but since they are designed to breath underwater they could still do that, so they wouldn't drown.

Changing the subject: I was wondering since I saw the picture of the 5 Shichibikai, and a question came to my head (I don't if someone already aks that, and I'm sorry for that), who have the biggest bounty of the Shichibukai!
My vote goes for Jinbei! Because he was the first mate of the Sunny Pirates and fishmen are very strong!

Well, that is something we just don't know yet. the highest known bounty among the shichibukai is Flamingos with 340M then Moria with 320M and Kuma with 296M - Mihawks and Jinbeis are unknown.

Also assuming that Jinbei was the first mate of the Sunny Pirates might go a little too far atm.

It wouldn't be wrong to think Jinbei was the first mate, since the first mate takes the captains position when he dies (like Brook and Yorki, for example) except in case of mutiny, which of course mustn't be outruled either (but I do think Jinbei is more of a good person).

Still, many things speak for the Sunny Pirates not existing any more. We don't know if the crew where Jinbei is captain is the Sunny Pirates or a crew he founded later on, the latter being most plausible in my opinion since we have seen (at least?) two other crews consisting of former Sunny crewmembers which very much points to them disbanding.

Yeah you are right about some fishmen might not know about DF, in fact same "land" people seems that it´s a myth or something like that!
For me Mihawk being the greatest swordmen in the world his bounty would be really high! But about Jinbei I´m clueless about this matters!

Both of us could be wrong about this, but we know that Jinbei became a Shichi 8 years ago, though we don´t know when Fisher Tiger died. So Jinbei could be the captain of the Sunny Pirates for a while!

About what you say of having the disbanding of the fishmen pirates, I think you are right, because the tatoo of Tom is definatelly related to a pirate crew of fishmen

Well... yup, there are the no-brainers like Akainu suggested above. I'm thinking that if the World Government wanted to keep hold of a Fishman permanently they could feed him a useless devilfruit and leave him in a fishtank. He's not going anywhere then. That might be Jimbei's fate if he doesn't get out of Impel Down.

There is no such thing as a useless Devil Fruit. We all laughed when Kaku Giraffe'd himself thinking "Haha, what a useless Devil Fruit". A couple of pages later, he splits a tower in half. There was a thread on useless devil fruits, there were only 2 imagined in that entire thread that were entirely useless.

Anyway, fishtank wouldn't work. Luffy doesn't lose his power to the rain or while in the bath. It's only the ocean and swimming that doesn't work. Don't know if this means throwing saltwater at a DF user is enough though...

I also doubt any fishman has a DF. They are born 10x stronger than humans, but we've the SH defeat some of the well trained ones at Arlong Park with good human power. If any merman grew half as much as a Strawhat, they would be able to lift Impel Down.

Can you remenber what are the DF that was useless you really make me curious in this matters, since DF can be anything. Maybe a DF that allow you to make a astral projection, while your body is vulnerable!

Oda explained in a SBS that moving water doesn't affect DF users.
