sounds cliche.. but the vice warden looks to me like he has Haki.. maybe the same type as Boa's and Luffy's. Its a rare haki, but he is also a rare character. he is not caught up by her appeal, and his overriding quality seems to be Ambition. It may not be haki, it may not be that type of haki, but the key to his character to me its his ambition. He is the most openly ambitious character in the OP world. I mean, he cant say three words without saying... "My".. with "Warden" or "Prison".
thats true bittman. your logic might seem too complicated for one piece but it would contradict the gear second physiologie. and im pretty sure the glove thing wouldnt work doesnt make sense. like even normal human wouldnt get affected by poison through their own skin. like the guy magellan attacked, well it went all over his face and im sure it somehow manage to get in his body. but think about it. if you drop poison on your skin is it gonna kill you? nope! youll lose a couple of skin cells but nothing noticeable. i study in anatomy and physiology at university so i know all about that. so what im trying to say is even if luffy would not be made of rubber, it wouldnt affect him that much. well ok unless his soaked in poison, that might fuck him up a bit but it wont kill him unless he leaves the poison on his skin for like half an hour.
anyway even if hed get soaked in poison he can do fuusen to get it all off. remember poison isnt acid. its completely different. and sorry for the long paragraph i kno some of you guys dont like it.
if you get bathed in cobra poison or another strong poison.. you would die (completely unrealistic, cause there is no place where you can swim in a cobra poison pool). But pretty sure small quantities absorbed by your skin, and areas such as your month, ears, skin pores would be enough. I would have to ask a specialist for specifics and quantities, but same as you absorb skin lotion.. you'd absorb poison.. no its not acid, but depending on the poison, it can probably kill you if it covered your face in particular (your eyes, or other areas that are more absorbing than your dermis).
