Marco is the first commander right but i just it doesn't mean that he's the first mate...
I'm sure whitebeard's first mate is as old as rayleigh or whitebeard himself...
their crew used to fight with gol d. rogers crew so rayleigh was match up to whom?
i'm sure it's captainvscaptian fight... and it was also a first mate vs first mate fight...
so my guess is for the upcoming war we will see whitebeard's original crew... because what we've seen so far is the younger generation of whitebeard's crew.
i bet the first mate or even 2nd mate or 3rd mate and so on will make an appearance in the upcoming bloodshed... kill... kill.. kill....

My favorite one is the Jaya adventure so I guess it goes with the Skypiea Arc.

That thing bothers me too. I wondered if there was a old first mate or if Marco was the new first mate (because the other would have died/retired during the WB's piracy).
For me, obviously Marco could not be the first first-mate of WB because of the " age " of the crew. Moreover, when Shanks arrived to see WB about the Ace's topic, he discovered who was Marco, the first commander. So, I thought, if Gol D. Roger crew has fought a lot of time WB's crew, why Shanks did not know Marco ?
It is because as you said it is the new generation of the WB pirates.
One of the thing I thought is : Oda would have never let the old WB crew dead or retired from piracy. So, I think the commanders are the ones that lead the others WB ships and the old WB crew are not commanders : they stay on the first ship of WB.
Imagine the situation with Luffy : he obtained a fleet : I think all his first nakamas (the ones we know) stayed on Thousand Sunny and the guys that joined his fleet have their own commanders who had been chosen among them. I think of WB's fleet in this manner even if I really do not think it would happen to Luffy.
And the commanders and their " crews " are used to protect WB's territory.
So Oda would have let hidden the " true " crew of WB.

My favorite arc was Enies Lobby (well, with water 7). This arc was so epic for me, with the Straw Hat declaring war to the WG, with knowing about that Mysterious Robin past, and to see the friendship that they have been building. Seeing every people ready to fight against some powerful marines to save a nakama was just really nice to see (and read).

I like the Baroque Works saga. It had a well-developed plot and an epic ending with action all the way through. The current arc is brilliant as well.

umm, my fave, which occasionally I read/see again and again is Arlong Park arc. Right there 5 novice people started to earn their fame. How Nami hurt her own hand to save Usopp, how heavily wounded Zoro fight against Hachi & Arlong, how Usopp washed away his weary to beat Fishman whose 10 times stronger than him etc. etc. I like it a lot

Definitely Baroque Works.

I mean, Enies Lobby was the longest and most epic.
Skypeia was romantic.
Arlong Park was the turning point of the entire One Piece manga.

But Baroque Works just had a special something for Luffy's journey which personally cemented the fact that he will be pirate king. Plus, it has the best villain still to date. No-one plans things like Crocodile anymore.

I'm quite sure bittman meant Enies Lobby, which indeed is the most epic (although the current one is damn close to knocking EL of the throne). And I agree on Crocodile being the best villain. Not only is he really badass, but he was also a real mastermind. But he is in the current arc also, and a lot of other super awesome people doing super awesome things in a super awesome place. I vote ID.

BW still has my vote though. I never vote for a current arc. I mean, people called Shabondy the greatest a year ago, and it ended up as a half-arc. You can't really rate an arc from how it may possibly play out.

Also, Impel Down has awesome Luffy and awesome Bon Clay, but everyone else is just there. It's not yet a great arc...until Whitebeard attacks..."possibly" <- see?

1 About current arc: First of all i really don't think we are going to see the sh intervere in this arc because we already seen so much characters there is no need for the sh's to come and help luffy he gots a lot help now, and this arc is luffy's solo peace like evereybody has only we are going to see luffy's because he is baddass.

2. About current arc: I think that whitebeard will die by blackbeard and sinds yesterday i think that mr. 0 will help him to get his name back in the game.

3. About current arc: After the hole fight, wb's dead and rescue ace i beliefe that luffy will go back to his crew then they go to fisherman's island finally but i think after that arc. and the sh's arrive in the new world the new world has been changed constand battles no peace totally anarchie.

4. About current arc: the power of the 7 warlords combined: if you look at them abbillities they can do some nasty stuff example if they are some strong fighters from wb's crew you got don flamingo that controls your body then we got moria that cuts your shadow if its light you are fucked up or kuma thats send your flying for three 3 days bye bye strong opponnont. Then the other powers of the 7 warlords.

5. About kuma: I was thinking and wondering in the thriller barck arc. when kuma wanted to take luffy with him where would he take him marine hq? I believe that kuma wanted to take luffy to dragon because he is a spy/informant for dragon that needs to keep an eye on luffy. But when he saw that his crew is so loyal to luffy he reminded him dragon and their crew. Why did Kuma send luffy to boa did he knew boa would help him? I believe kuma can control where he sends people flying. Look at the sh's everybody was sent to place where they can upgrade their skills.

About silver med.: What are they? someone i have been reading about wb's originally crew is it possible they are the silver med. that also includes some of old roger's crew?

The smily's: what are they? Now i believe that the smilys is some new type of flag

WHY DONT YOU GET IT!? they all need to power up, so count that there will be arc for each char. and 2. How do you think that they will get to holy land in 5 days... Mugiwaras took five years to get there.....

The story time since the beginning of Monkey D. Luffy's piracy is around the 100 days. At the end of TB, when the SH left Thriller Back, it was about the 80th day. You just have to re-read all the chapters of OP and count the days that spend.

i haven't given up on the supernovas.. they have to be in ID... please break them free..

but you know Rayleigh.. i agree on the part that it has been about 100 days.. but at the same time if u look at the physical change in SHs (specially nami).. it seems more than 100 days.. maybe the time spent in traveling from one island to other is large .. but it might be just change in oda's drawing style as discussed here..
