erm...I support Arsenal, though they've not impressed me this season.

Well I think the sea in OP is bigger than ours because the Grandline and Redline are like strips when you see it compared to the world. There's hasn't been a mention or even suggestions as to the population of the OP world, nor do we know much about the Redline except that Mariejoa is on top of it, my guess is that as the story continues and our heroes get to the New World or maybe even Fishman Island we'll learn more things about the world.

Could you find that SBS? Because while I don't know ALL of them offhand, I don't remember the size of the world ever being mentioned. Honestly, I don't know why it matters. It's as big as it needs to be for the story. But people still seem to care, so let them discuss it. However, I don't remember Oda ever providing any explicit information on the subject, so if you could find which SBS that was, it'd be appreciated.

First of all, I doubt that Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood will deviate from the manga, because odds are that it won't catch up before Fullmetal Alchemist ends in... about 6 months.

Just back on this:
Not so much, deviate for filler purposes, but add in little bits here and there. I've never seen a perfect manga -> anime, fillers are always somewhere in there, they just aren't always entire arcs or even entire episodes.

But now that I think of things a little more, in a way One Piece did get remade with the latest two movies remaking the Drum and Alabasta arcs. That said, it wasn't done in the manga format, but still interesting nevertheless.

Also, Hellsing OVA is what I'd call a remake of quality (though I haven't gotten past episode 2, I should look that up again...).

I'd also like to see the SBS quote, I did a quick search then but didn't find it (very quick).

One Piece actually doesn't have that many filler arcs. In fact, I don't believe I've actually seen one since I read the manga more.

I didn't mind the remaking of the Alabasta arc as a movie at all either, since in my opinion it was the best arc in all of One Piece. This current arc looks like it's going to be pretty epic also.

i love the remake movies because they are the same concept but a different story so in a sense you are still getting something new. if you could pick an arc to be remade into a movie, which one would it be???

I would want to see the skypiea arc as a film, it would be good imo; Pirates find a map to go to sky Island thinking it would be all lovey-dovey and then they meet GOD and he's priests dum dum dum...0_0 !!!

Erm....good question...back then the Strawhats didn't have Brook or Franky so If those were to be included then we need to add someone on the island for them to fight, 2 more priests or something??? a rea rumble in the jungle would be fun...

i think a movie of the history of all the islands would be awesome. like we have flashes of the past of a lot of lands but a actually TELLING would be awesome. the history of skypiea, the history of thriller, a story on mihawk <-----AMAZING!!!!!! but yea i think that OP has so many stories that they dont necessarily have to use the SH in the movies.

I'd actually really enjoy a movie which covers the East Blue arc. Seems a bit large, possibly, but I think it could be done. A lot of what was written in the arc could easily be skipped through, and redoing the start would be a great way to commemorate One Piece.

That said, it would be a pretty long movie. Not many anime-movies go for more than an hour, and I think an East Blue remake would be pushing that barrier.

Would still be something I'd love to see though.

I think's it's safe to say that most arcs would make great movie adaptations....The question for most is perhaps conveying it whilst keeping the manga as an integral part as possible and not removing A LOT of content;

for example I was gonna Water 7 would make a good arc then I saw the length...for that story to be told, the movie would have to be in 2 parts..

1.Dead End Adventure
2.The Giant Mecha Soldier of Karakuri Castle
3.The Curse of the Sacred Sword
4.Baron Omatsuri's Island
5.Episode of the Island of Perpetual Winter
6.Chopper's Island of Strange Animals
7.Episode of Alabasta: The Desert Princess and the Pirates

Those are the only ones that I've seen, on the subject could everyone post their list in order of favourite. I'm curious as to what people think is the best
