Think that too but IM afraid Hawkins(my 2nd favourite Supernova after Law (if I leave the Sh of course^^)), Drake, Urugue and strechman are in custody cause they were knocked off by PX and Kizaru

totally agree Duc. i have the same order. However i believe the supernovas will meet up in the future to show their powers to each other.

From what we have seen so far I have the impression that maybe none of them will learn any new skill. But well I'm the only one to think that way

Maybe Kuma send them just to show them that they are not just by power too weak but also in a mental/spirital way.

Kizaru seemed pretty angry that the Strawhats managed to escape and it was reported he captured many of the other pirates on the island. No doubt, he would've taken into custody the Supernovae he defeated (due to their high bounties).

Maybe Kuma send them just to show them that they are not just by power too weak but also in a mental/spirital way.

I wouldn't say the Strawhats are weak, maybe not as powerful as the
elite Marines. Could you explain what you mean by a "mental/spiritual" way?

I mean with the "spiritual way" something that make you stronger but not necessarily strenghtwise.
Ussop is a good example: after being on that island he shouldn't be afraid of so many things anymore. Not totally brave, that would change his character, but not everytime when he's frightened he goes like "I have this and that disease". He should learn how to be brave when it counts and not after his ass got kicked.
Franky is another good example. I doubt that he gets more physical strenght but on this island he will gain more experience, information and another look to the world since he can see Vegeapunks old lab.
Or Sanji who will be able to attack women when it is necessary so that something like Enies Lobby can't repeat.

I don't say that no one of the Strawhats gets a physical power up but not everyone.

Look, I like what you said about Usopp, him getting braver and all, but even in that case you said he would still be a chicken at times because that's his character. So why would Sanji's kishido which is one of the most awesome parts of his character and personality go away!? I really, really hope not. If that happens, it's just as likely that his love for women/pervertedness will go away.

(By the way, it's kinda ironic, Usopp stopping to make up diseases since his side-story is called "I'm gonna die alone-disease" )

I really hope that doesn't happen. It would ruin Sanji's character for me. Part of Sanji's awesomeness is his chivalry, and I hope Oda doesn't change that part of him.

Does anyone think Coby will actually become an Admiral or Vice-Admiral and later rival Luffy in the New World? It's probably a bit far-fetched but he does have Garp('s friend) training him and the massive battle in Marineford coming up might change him.

Maybe, but Luffy won't stay in the same level, I mean when Coby become an Admiral or Vice-Admiral Luffy would be the King
But I think Oda is gonna give them their fight before...

I think too that Coby becomes one really powerful and mighty Marine though I doubt that he will ever be able to beat Luffy. He will give him a hard time, I'm pretty sure of that though.

Atm i'm a bit eager to know more about Smoker's purposes... He doesn't have a dark justice but he wants to capture the Strawhats who actually are questioning him about good and bad. What's his reason that makes him want to destroy the Strawhats? They saved his life and that of million others in Arabasta. But he's following them like a dog, ready to bite them anytime. Is his pursuit just a mere excuse to check if they turn bad one way or the another? Like what Aoikiji is doing with Robin.

Smoker is one of the characters who's personality weren't explained well in my opinion. It's hard to guess what role he'll play in the Strawhats journey.

Luffy's journey is not going to take years to complete. By the time One Piece has finished, Coby should still be a young man who should not possess much power. Maybe in 10 years he could rival Luffy, but that's years into the future, far after the story we'll see is done. Or, I could be wrong :P

I could think that he did not really mean to say, that Luffy will only be the Pirate King in 10 years, but to show where he would stand when Coby would gain such a marine rank. Long too late. There is hope in every Manga to see a little glimpse of the future after the "ende".

I think he knows that the Strawhats aren't bad pirates but he also knows that he can a dangerous man.
He was one of the first characters (I think) who compared Luffy to Roger so he knows that Luffy'll become a mighty pirate. If that happens he can't do anything about him Smoker is pretty aware of that I guess.

In the end Smoker knows how powerful and mighty Luffy will become and so he tries to get him before that happens. He's a marine after all.

it was said that vegapunk invented technology that allowed objects to eat devil fruit so maybe zoro gets a sword with a devil fruit ability and usopp gets a giant slingshot with a devil fruit ability.....
