One Piece Mega Convo Thread, the 2nd Chapter

This might be a idiotic idea but i can see it somehow happen:

What if the goverment is experimenting with dead corpses in order to create the ultimate cyborg that could face each pirate. Only this time it wouldn't be a perfect kumaborg but Vegapunk would use Gold Rogers body which they froze in a capsule right after his execution. It's the perfect way to bring Roger again in picture. This way we could have a grand fight where Luffy battles the old king and we could see some of rogers old crewmates. It's an idea where we could involve Luffy in a Vegapunk arc and it sounds kinda awsome too me.

I can't believe some members still believe that 'Roger Cyborg' theory! It would completely kill OP for me! Tyrant Kuma aka PX-Zero is the ultimate cyborg creation thus far in OP , its highly unlikely that the Pirate King will come back in a cyborg form...just thinking about it...is distasteful.

Roger's body wasn't special in any way. Sure, he was strong but his real strength was not in his body. Anyway, physical strength is not that important when you can upgrade the body itself, make it harder and stronger. I see no benefit in using a different body for a Pacifista now. Also, Kuma's body is a lot bigger, allows more add-ons than a normal body.

That's right. Roger's body would be of no use for Vegapunk. We must not confuse Vegapunk's work and Moria & Hogback's : Roger's body would only be useful for a zombie (as we have seen with Oz, Ryuma and the general zombies), but not for a cyborg.

I don't often read this thread, so i didn't know if the idea was brought up by other members. But the idea of the old generation king Roger vs Luffy of the new generation just keeps my hart racing, it feels just too exciting.

I just want that Oda to create a chance for Luffy to somehow meet Roger one day. I care more about this then Luffy meeting Shanks again. I don't care if it's through a hollegram, spirit or any other way. I just want to witness why he was called the King.

Indeed, I wouldn't like that, Roger is Dead ... so leave it like that, besides even though he'd be a cyborg, I'd not like to see something like characters who are confirmed to be dead come miraculously/suddenly back to life ... like a "first impression" after reading Naruto's chapter this week, although Itachi is one of my favorite characters (Manga in general).

I just said that physical strength of a body is not that important when you can make that body stronger and harder to destroy with mechanical add-ons.

Roger body wouldn't be of any use, it may be strong like Marco or Ace, but Roger power was his will, not his body.

Whitebeard otherwise has a massive body, that would be good. Moria's too, he is resistant like hell.

He wants to shock the world, and right now the entire attention of the world is on the war. Though I don't disregard the possibility that Oda could throw us a curveball and have BB do something totally unexpected and shocking, however him killing WB would cement him as the final boss as most expect him to be so I think that that's why most think he'll appear here.

In the first place, why did he need to become a Shichibukai? Was it to become famous or to implement something secret in Marineford?
He said that his show would shake the world to it's core, also he goes to Impel down... Is this to free prisoners or is it because Impel down is the best place to hide for the upcoming event?
Next there is a panel which is completely unrelated to the story where a old man makes a notice that there are a lot of earthquakes in his area.

It's somehow taking shape but i still can't be sure what it exactly is....

I get a feeling that other than those mentioned above, BB strike a deal with the WG like Boa's condition. And that somehow BB can benefit from the deal.
BB wants to kill everyone at the battle. Other then Sengoku whom will be a slave for BB

Blacbeard want to find onepiece and be pirate king, he betrayed marines-for him becoming schibukai was like becoming whitebeard pirate- only to gain something. He was in Whitebeards crew because he want to gain as much informatin,experience as he can AND because they had biggest chance to find one specifc DF- Yami Yami no Mi.
He wanted to became schibukai not for the title but to gain access to something that will help him become more powerfull or well konwn(to easier recruit new members of the crew like Shiryuu). He have PLAN. Probably after something that he did marines and him will be worst enemies and there wont be any deal..

I don't think Teach will go to Marineford. An attack on Mariejois on the other hand..
This won't happen in the next chapter for us to see, maybe around the same time the war is going on and we will only find out about it after. Like the Teach Vs. Ace fight.

well ... why did he need to become a Shichibukai I think it's pretty clear, he wanted to move freely without the WG/Marines pressure, so he can recruit new staffs, have an access to Impel Down and more things that aren't revealed yet ... IMO

Ehm what? He didn't get any pressure from WG even when the 4th WB commander was killed and i presume that the marines wouldn't even notice him if he kept doing the things he was doing. Lafiet is the same, after he was expelled, he wasn't considered a threat and they kept ignoring him. Also both bounties was zero at the time and they still don't have a bounty after becoming a Shichibukai. Sengoku wouldn't pay any attention to someone like Blackbeard if Lafiet didn't mention him at the meeting.

Being able to pull of something like killing the 4th commander is in advantage of the WG but it also warns them that he had to be strong too and thus they should've been cautious about it in case he should turn against the WG.

Even Kuma mentioned in his talk with Moria that making Blackbeard a Shichibukai would crumble entirely the balance between the 3 big forces. How can Kuma see what was coming and the WG not? A lot are aware about Blackbeard like WB/Shanks/Kuma and WG was the only force that didn't try to pressure him or be aware of him.

Another trait he shares with Luffy, totally being ignored as a threat for the WB.
