^No his whole arm was diamond. Look at the frame where is falls off its diamond all the way through. And Jozu only turned half his body into diamond because that was all he needed to block Mihawk's attack. And his arm fell off because Aokiji froze him past where his diamond arm ended into his flesh and his arm didn't shatter it just fell off, so I'm thinking he can probably reattach it or something.

I have something on my mind now... since we know that roger could hear things... isn't this similar to mantra? Maybe while he was in sky island he learned to use mantra and that's how he could hear things.
I find it hard to believe that roger had any fruit that could grand him an ability like this ( in fact i think he was a fighter like garp or reyleigh).

But i dont see how mantra could grant him the ability to read poneglyphs.

Heya fellas... just finished reading volume 24 (about to start 25..) and i gotta say i started digging OP much more from the beginning of crocodiles saga and its awesome now...
but i have a huge question regarding "devil's fruit" :
Basically since the beginning of OP it was always said that X ate Z devil fruit and got Y power, but so far there wasn't 1 mention of where those "devil fruits" are gotten/grow/found on.... and i really hope that in the next volumes ill catch up this matter will be adressed.... so my question basically is "will the devil fruit's location/where ppl find it/get it from" be adressed later on?

Devil Fruits are very rare, and the powers that they can give is undetermined except if you have a list of known DF.

Ah I see, as far as I can remember, there haven't been anything said where someone get some DF.

just pure luck to find one, and even if they found one, it doesn't mean that there will be another df to be found on that place... I think it is said that it could be anywhere.

In Buggy flashback, the crew just "found" the Devil Fruit.

Also Blackbeard found the Yami Yami no Mi in Whitebeard crew.

Both situations are in the New World?

Not in Whitebeard Crew but when he was forming part of that Crew and saw how the 4th commander was holding the Fruit he's been looking for ^_^ (I know that you knew this)

That idea is wrong.
Ace was already a logia when Sengoku learnt about his existence and before he was asked to be a Shichibukai and before he fought Jimbei, which obviously must have happened before the NW, in the first part of GL. And even only in the GL is a false idea. Shanks had the Gomu Gomu Fruit when he was in East Blue : he got it between the time he saw the PK's execution in Logue Town and the time he met Luffy : we can consider he stayed in East Blue during this time (he stayed for a year around Fushia Town after all).

So the fruits growing only in the new world, well there might be a small chance for that.

Anyway, was watching a movie I'd learned was Oda's favorite(From Here) and saw THIS.

No, it's impossible he went to NW in that time because Rayleigh said he met him in Shabondy Archipelago some years ago (without his SH and arm) and that he was going to begin his second adventure in the NW. And I doubt he went to the first part of GL and came back to East Blue : we don't know if there are ways to leave the first part of GL to come back to the four seas (except Calm Belt).

Reasons why oda stands above other manga authors..! no disrespect to ne other mangas...(heck i like bleach, naruto, fairy taiil mah self...)

1) 1 of all a point which i have noticed since a while, in his mangas oda never goes specifically into a certain part. he keeps moving the stry, does not get fixated on 1 thing for a long time...lik for eg in this war, we saw hancock kicks the pacifista head, or we saw hawkeyes vs vista, he does not go deeper into these needless fights, he leaves it for the anime to fill it up. Thats why if u notice, one piece has the least fillers, because every chapter can be filled up in 20 min anime because it gives them room to fill up the un-important parts skipped by the manga.

2) Character growth: In one piece when a person is said to be strong, he is bloody strong (well except for smoker who is under-rated in the manga, should be atleast titled v.a, while moria has been overestimated), like whitebeard, strongest man in the world, till now he has shown his strength, heck he was able to go up against an admiral with a stabbed wound and old age. the comanders of 1 n 3 division, have shown to be strong, marco was evenly matched with kizaru bt he gt distracted n tht led to his downfall which is very realistic. same with jjoz. iva right hand man/woman of dragon was able to go up against kuma. Luffy is strng bt not strng enough to be in their league.

3) keeps the story moving, every chapter brings something new or is leading to a build up. Oda loves to leave clues. for eg: squad o in 1 chapter was said to have vanished and also there was no sign of akainu, and then later we saw what happened. We have seen that the whole war arc has never been 1 sided, it keeps shifting which keeps us guessing what the hell will happen next. the war arc has been goin on since 20 chapters n we have seen how much it has progressed, while in bleach it takes ichigo 7 chapters to cross a 2 min path which gets so fustrating.

4) n finally the most imp of all, its realistic, the haki based attacks, we 1 saw luffy use it wen he stopped that cow/bull of that sanji duplicate. then we saw it again in amazon lily n den finally in the war. so its not like he suddenly gt this major power, he has shown us that luffy has haki n den shown us how powerful it is.
most imp of all luffy is the main character of the manga, yet in the war they have emphasised more on whitebeard crew and the admirals. However he has played a imp part n at some parts was very imp but has nt been given so much emphasis (like for eg kickin an admiral ass o somethin). He has been shown as being strong bt the level of a v.a tops.

wtf. your only examples and proof were only reference to the war. what you say would have been more credible if you refered to the whole manga and given reference to chapters 1 till now instead of picking out the arc which suits you because what would happen is someone could then pick the best arc in naruto, fairy tail or even bleach to counter you and we all know bleach is a piece of shit. however if we are comparing only 1 arc in each manga then bleach would stand a chance of actuali winning because a bleach fan could use soul society arc which was the best arc in the manga as reference. however kubo lacks consistency and therefore the rest of bleach just about sucks. but if you can give good proof refering to the whole manga of onepiece instead of one arc then you would also be proving how consistent oda is in his writing
