Luffy still might have meant the crew. And thats translated text anyway, not the original. Maybe luffy wanted to highlight to nami that it's a pirate group of many, not just one random guy.

You did not type the whole conversation, after that nami asked "so that guy got companions, where?" So i think it's pretty clear that they meant his crew.

That tooth thing still is odd. Instant dentist guy.

Translated? I have read the manga from at least 3 different translators. They all said the same. Watch anime. Its the same there. Oda works closely with anime team. And the guys who subbed the anime, they were professionals too. So, leave the idea of that being a translation error.

Whole conversation? What was there to it? Nami kept throwing wild guesses, though she had no clue what had happened to which Luffy and Zorro didn't even bother to reply. And you indicate this to prove it might have been the "crew" they were talking about? And if they saw the entire crew, why would they reply that to a question "who was he"? Its like,

A: Hey B, who was the girl you were talking to?

B: They were a bunch of girls from my college!!!

Does it make sense, even if there were a bunch of girls around the particular girl A asked about?


See, these things are not rocket science. Its just needs some basic educated interpretation. If you still go on saying it was his team, be my guest

no offence but this idea has no creativity and its a bit banal , what are you saying his teeth keeps changing thats not a strong based and well founded argument .
if you refer to the BB flag it could be a bit convincing but a missing tooth come on i see it more like oda messed up on his part and forgot to draw the empty space between BBs teeth , get over it .
about the three bodies it could explain why he tried to hide the procedure of extracting the fruit . the flag might bare a strong referance to this theory as well .

Yeah,BB gave Shanks a scar before he ate the yami yami no mi but who knows maybe BB already had the Cerberus DF since he first joined the WB pirates and he never used it infront of them and why did BB need to cover up WB to stole the fruit?BB has a secret.

Sorry, I am not here to "prove" a speculation. There is a reason its called speculation. Hope we all understand that.

I am not sure if you speculate a lot, but if you do (which I doubt), you would surely understand the ramifications these "mistakes" which you call hold.

This teeth thing, its jsut something that came up recently.. You wanna know more about three? Apart from three skulls and three bones on his flag, his raft which we caw on Jaya, was made out of "three" pieces of wood.

See, these mangakas are not noobs. They give very very small clues and leave tiny loopholes in the story and later on use it to develop a plot. Oda is expert at it (for example, Luffy's strawhat is in the battle ground now. Its not on him. I strongly feel its no something that Oda just forgot). Likewise, a mistake on artwork which keeps repeating itself, back and forth, its not usual. Not with Oda at least..

I agree with the theory of Blackbeard being three people through the cerberus mythical zoan fruit.

BUT even though I think he had it during the Shanks fight, I'm not sure if actually used it then... hold on I've got more on this one


If he does have it, then I think that it will be revealed either at the next big event... like a fight with Luffy's Crew or even the current fight with Sengoku

If Teach in fact does have the Cerb fruit, why is he so delayed in using...
Could it mean that he risk neutralizing the effects of the Yami & Gura

I think that Teach has always had the fruit since before he joined the whitebeard pirates, and has never used it in front of them, (this could be the tactical side of teach we've seen)

Now back to Shanks V. Blackbeard, I think Blackbeard has full control over the Zoan, sorta like Marco, but to an even greater extent, where he could only summon the claws of the Cerb...

I also think that a scratch or bite from Cerb is truly cursed, and will leave a permanent scar that will from time to time burn with pain when Teach plans something devious, which would explain why the scar was hurting on shanks when he was talking about Teach and Ace....

It could be possible that Blackbeard has a devil fruit power witch we didn't see yet, but i hardly doubt that it's a mythical zoan. I mean the mythical zoans are rarer than logias, and Blackbeard spent almost his entire life to search for the yami yami no mi. But maybe he was lucky, like Marco

WOAH what an incredible idea idea, a cerberus fruit or something similar to that. That would answer a lot of questions if we found out about his original fruit because in order to hurt Shanks like that before he got a fruit, he must have had some power since he gets beaten up even now...I'm sure it's been said before but the cloak probably had nothing to do with taking BB's power. He doesn't want anyone to know what he really is.

Is the new world totally Younkou dominated and something like the marines are based at the red line with marine ford and such to keep them out. Didn't smoker say something about needing a bigger rank to pursue the straw hats so vice admirals and admirals with battle ships are allowed/safe enough to go there. If Blackbeard wants his own era and one piece is heading for the new world and era I don't really see the logic in keeping the marines and world government in power.

On the other hand the admirals are great and important characters and seeing as their on their own turth just killing sengoku and akianu isnt enough to defeat them seeing as they would still have 2 admirals I can't imagine. I duno I kind of imagined the setting of once piece being around the world being in chaos and lawless hence the demolition of marine ford. Although a lot of people can agree black beard hasnt got the power to rule the world yet and it might just go on black beard looking for one piece first. I think the revolutionary army will have a bigger role rather than black beard at this moment in time heck they still might show up.

With the void period being such an important part of the story line and gol d roger talking about events repeating itself, my predication for one piece is that the final battle may be pitched around the revolutionary army maybe having something to do with the old ancient civilisation vs the world government who previously over threw them with the help of ancient weapons.

Hmm thats a new Idea concerning Shanks, I always thought that his scar hurts mentally and didn't even though of hurting literally which means he really has pain from it... although I doubt the cerberus theory.

It was never confirmed so we do not know if there was a DF involved or not. A lot of people use to think that the monkeys from right before Skypeia were DF users and they werent. So you never know. I hate to say this but i dont think that we will ever learn about the other commanders in the WB crew.

I think it would be cool if we get a special data book that focuses on this war right now. More information and facts on the NW pirates and the other WB commanders would be cool. A history of the WB pirates adventures/legacy kind of thing would be awesome.

I think there's still time for Oda to reveal the names of the other WB commanders maybe in the next couple of chapters or most probably after the war.

It was in a databook (or SBS, I don't remember well) it was revealed the Devil Fruit names of the marines from the Buster Call that fought the Strawhats at the end of the Ennies Lobby arc. Also, the same goes for the five vice-admirals in the Buster Call.

So I expect to get information about all the commanders.

A quick thing about about bounties is that they are put on for bounty hunters not marines? other wise have we even heard or seen of a bounty hunter capable of taking down people with bounties 300+. I'm not saying i'm against them its just if they were put in place for marines to know how strong a villain is they might do a like a star or level rating like imperial down most dangerous level 6

About the pocket guy, I agree there's very likely a DF behind that.
However, I don't believe there is any DF involved with the swordman. Eveybody could light a sword with alcohol or oil and Ace already had the flame DF.
I'd bet here that his sword has got a flame dial and also that the NW captain Lord Mcguy has a sword with a thunder dial.

Bounties are not necessary for professional bounty hunters. It works for someone from the crew betray, or even citizens try it.

I just saw the newest anime episode, when Luffy and Iva freed Jibei and Crock from level six. Iva is adding some more info about Crock. Originally he said that he know his weakness and now he adds that he knows his past and implies that that is his weakness. Could maybe Crock be an new Okama. A women that was turned into a man by her own free will.

Somehow i doubt that zoro knows much about bounty hunters, other than those two funny guys calling him aniki. I dont remember why zoro did that but it was not his dream or anything. He didnt seem to be quite interested about it.
