One Piece Mega Convo Thread, the 2nd Chapter

this what i think will happen............while WB is raging luffy will get to the platform. the admirals will be busy with WB. luffy will be haulted by sengoku. garp will step in to save his boys, allowing luffy to unhandcuff ace, and the escape will began. garp will have to leave with the pirates. BB will show up and give WB a run for his monwy because of WB's injury and health. WB will give a farewell speech to his "family", knowing he doesnt have long left, he will quake the entire island on to himself to allow them to escape. the NW pirates will go back to the NW. rayleigh will have shown up while WB is raging, will escape with luffy, jinbei, invankov, and the fruity boys.

somewhere in between luffy and the other strawhats will reunite. some of the marines will have followed them(namely smoker). another battle will take place on fishman island. luffy ready to fight, will pass out because invankov's harmone shot will have worn off. while there the strawhats will met a young fishman, who hates humans and/or pirates for what they have done to fishman island over the years.

he/she will see the strawhats protecting fishman island with their lives, will want to join such a crew. the strawhats will all show a bit of their new skills, with chopper and usopp shing the most. after the strawhats leave fishman island, they will have a new, young, up and coming fishman karate master as the helmsman, and all the strawhats will have new bounties. chopper will get a big increase, usopp will get a picture without his mask, sanji will get a real pic, and brook and the new mate will be officially recognized as strawhats.


then its on to the NW

To be honest with you, I think it would make no sense and a dead body (cadaver) is useless, think about it ... if kuma had been dead do you think he would be able to use his DF. (this is just an example)

i wonder how long will it be before eneru makes his return. i dont think oda went through that touble of creating his cover story for nothing. he is one of the few logia users in the series, so i cant see oda letting such a great character go to waste

He may never return to the "actual" Manga, just as ex-Cypher Pol 9. But while I don't see them ever getting to the New World, Enel could, his ship is flying too, just as Shikis. :P

@JinbeiDMaster: He's 500 years ahead, not lightyears. He might have helped building Impel Down with all their consoles and monitors. Would not even be suprising if he created the tele snails. :P

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Even the idiots.

In my opinion, Naruto lacks some epicness. The setting is good enough for it, but Kishi just can't seem to make it happen. There are too many characters which should have more air time and yet they can't so they just get neglected.

I found it funny how some people bitched about how we haven't seen Strawhats for too long. If you counted all the Naruto chapters which lacked Naruto...

Art wise, even though i like it, OP does seem to loose in that department to other mangas currently out there. But story-line wise there is no question that OP is the crim della crim of all Shounen mangas currently in circulation. Naruto has nice art and at times even a nice story-line. But then there are those times where the plot-holes and randomness take center stage and kill it. And i think Oda did a good job by shifting his focus to other characters and not just focus on the SH's. He really does a great job is showing where the SH's currently belong in the world. Unlike other mangas where the main characters take center stage no matter who or what they face.

It's because we all OP fans love all the main characters in it, but those who love Naruto apparently don't share the same sentiment

I know at least 5-10 people who don't want to read One Piece because they don't like the art style. It never really bothered me.

But story wise, it's much more coherent and has better tempo. There are some things that annoy some fans like people not dying much. I don't really have problem with that. It helps keeping the cheerful tone which every true OP fan should like.

I miss the guys a little too, but I'm fully aware that it had to be like that to allow things to turn out like they did. If you think about it, if they were all together somewhere, even on Amazon Lily, they would still have to be separated, otherwise Luffy wouldn't be able to get inside ID and a lot of characters would have been dropped.
Sure, Oda could have made Luffy go alone with Boa and the other women transport SH to Shabondy, but we don't know why exactly Kuma did what he did. It may seem random or weird now, but I'm sure a decent (at the least) explanation that will make sense will be provided. There is no reason to doubt it really.

Well people do die, just not very "important" people. lolz For example what got me hooked on OP was this. Which showed me that even though the manga has a "goofy feel" that it can get down right "murderously serious" at the drop of a hat. That first chapter was one of the best chapters that i have ever read out of any manga.

things turn for the better this way. in return for not seeing the other main characters, we get to see the big shots in action and their powers. it's just a matter of time before Oda shift the story back on to the main characters, and we get to see Zoro in action again
