Eh, I'm sure that Usopp will employ Haki with his attacks in the future. I can't see him using techniques as did the CP9. By using Haki, he'll be able to be a good martial artist as well for certain situations. For instance, he can use his staff slingshot as a close ranged weapon. Something similar to what we saw Beckman do in the first chapter. Although maybe he can learn something to increase his speed. Blackbeard's sharp-shooter is also quick as hell supposedly. What Usopp needs the most is to stop being cowardly. One can assume that now he's learning how to adapt to many surroundings in a masterful manner (especially since he's in that dangerous environment), which may prove to be more useful than just having amazing speed.

I wouldn't exactly call Rokushiki brawn, they are powerful abilities that don't just include offensive moves but also techniques for defense (kami-e) and speed (soru). For more information on Rokushiki, please refer to this link. Also, in my opinion Usopp with Rokushiki abilities would be of tremendous help to his fighting capabilties.

That is why I say he only needs Gepo and Soru lol

That will increase his distance with the enemy, does not have to be fast as luffy but still to get away from fatal danger and counter attack. we know that his attacks are accurate but not strong so being a distant from the enemy will increase his chance of taking an enemy because he could fire from everywhere not just from one spot like all snipers weakness.

After all this talk of Rokushiki, I wanted to know what everyone thought the hardest Rokushiki techniques to master were? we know that Soru is pretty straight forward so how would you rank them in terms of difficulty to master?

I can't envisage Usopp getting more powerful in a physical sense. He's a sharpshooter, as such he needs to be making sure that when he shoots something or someone he is able to do a significant amount of damage, like his old man.

I wouldn't be averse to the prospect of him getting hold of some seastone, to use when some hardcore DF user is about to wipe everyone out. He has a lot of gadgets, some seastone would give his character that 'Batman's utility belt' edge. Training in Rokoshiki requires being an adept fighter. While Coby trained to do it, he was being trained by Garp so had to learn it or he was getting a whack. Usopp can already run faster than the likes of Sanji and Luffy (no Gears) all his character lacks is that killer edge as a sharpshooter that Yasopp and Van Auge seem to have.

Well on the note about Rokushiki, i think Sanji will develop one or two of them. Why? He has been running for quite a while, which means he must've built some strength in his legs, hopefully enough to use Rankyaku or Soru. Rankyaku would be better cus he's already fast, but needs long range moves like zoro's canon or luffy's gomu gomu stuff =D

Usopp getting a new type of firing device that doesn't make him laughable to the NW pirates would be good enough for me, atleast something that he can atleast get a Logia-type away from him, how he would do that wouldn't haki -shrug- I personally only want Luffy to be the haki user of the crew though.

i wouldnt mind if sanji, zoro, and usopp can use haki. them using mormal haki would be cool. it would show the reason zoro and sanji are so strong. also if usopp could learn to imbed haki into his attacks like the kuja warriors, that would make him even better at aiming and his attacks would be stronger

Sure, that's why , he's a f**king funny coward, and till now ... he always figured out how to get through tough times without any kind of special power.

Ussop...one of the weakest fighter...but one of the most unexpected or impressive in a way (like Sogeking awakening...wtf this was full of win). He doesn't need a raw power up like Haki at all.

usopp will never have any fighting power. it was stated by oda that usopp would always be the weakests strawhat when it came to fighting. just think him being ableo utilize haki, even a little bit,coud help him aim better, shoot further, and his shot would be more powerful.

WB always intended for ace to be pirate king. so maybe ace becomes captain if they die

let me corerect myself, oda said he would always be the weakest when i came to physical strength. also normal haki is not the chosen haki, king haki is.

i figure that a lot people can use haki at different levels. WB used a haki blast, but it wasnt king's haki.
