Well, they've failed because they were attacked by someone the Marines would not have thought to betray them... If there's going to be an upgrade then that they will be allowed to take action on an ally that turns on them, I guess - which may backfire at some point. I'd love to see Oda bringing up Asimov's robot rules.

And Luffy indulged WB too. At the beginning of the war, he saved WB's back. From the picture, we can clearly see that actually Crocodile was not going to hit his head. Does it mean Crocodile targeted his back on purpose, willing to destroy his pride ?

no, I don't think so... It's rather because Crocodile thought that he would be in WB's blindspot... probably didn't have the guts to take WB head on...

I hate the way all the bad stuff for Luffy and for the good ones roles in at the same time. Seriously hope for glorious change of events soon. It has to come, it's getting depressing.

Those guys are not gentlemen or idiotic Youtube kids fighting with cheap shots, they are damned pirates and will do whatever they can to gain what's in their interest. If you have/want to fight and know that the opponent is stronger, you would also use the most effective tactic, by being "cheep" and trying to take him down with some fast hard and "unfair" attacks.

After the darkness comes the light. It will get better someday anyway, as OP will never have a bad ending. I don't think Oda will let the Manga stay so dark for much longer, losing younger fans 'cause of not being "funny" anymore. I want my comedy/adventure One Piece back...

Actually The original source says it's a record only in the history of this ranking(Oricon) that had begun in April, 2008. So I'm not sure if its a record in Japan history. I think Dragon Ball or Slam Dunk probably have the record.

The latest Bleach volume (#43) wasn't published on March 4th, but in the first week of February. 441.333 copies were sold of it in it's first week. It dropped from #1 the week after and dropped to #2. On week 3 it was only on #21. On week 4 it was out of the Top 30...

OP will drop in about two weeks as well I guess down to 3-5th rank.

i actually hope they dont make filler battles. i mean its one thing to extend certain fights, but is there really a need??? look at the ID arc, there were no extensions, i think, and it turned out great!!!!!!!

Yeah but the anime is really close to the manga has it always been this close? and in ID arc they were putting in some filler moments with buggy which were funny im just saying theres a LOT of characters so why not add fillers?

You will have to decide between stop motion fights and many stills, like in many manga->anime adaption or some good fill ins to create no atmosphere of draging/stretching of content. I doubt, that they will reveal much more than we have seen, but I would really appreceate some good animated fights to make it more realistic too.

It was always pretty close to the manga, got a month worth of cushion through the Strong World filler episodes, but with Oda recently taking one week breaks to often g, it get's more close again.

Yea that is very right. If you have 3 chapters to explain something, sometimes it can be done in one eps. This arc will be amazing in the anime, and i doubt they will add much. This arc is one of the best arcs of all anime ever, so leave as it is and every thing will be fine. I think we got an overflow of INFORMATION so we dont need more for quite a while
