I've just noticed that one of the WB pirates came for Foodvalten, this island/town that WB protected and that Brownbeard attacked after the King of seas'death.

damn good eyes.........i think WB did things just like luffy. he saved the islands and the members of each island wanted to follow him

Did you guy notice that in chapter 0, during the Edd war, Oda showed 3 captain pirates that were in Golden Shiki's fleet ? And did you notice one of this captain pirate was a female pirate ? Not a mere female pirate, a female pirate who had a tatoo on this foreheard : the word LOVE !

Could she be the last Yonkou, Big Mom ? The love theme, the gender and the age fit. Here she is.

Well if it's time for Smoker to stand up for his belief in Justice, that would fit IMO. But Smoker sure doesn't seem to be the type to abandon his post or to become a pirate. If anything now is a great time for him to reform the Marines, to strengthen the bastion of Moral Justice.

Look at Sengoku post war.. he seems contemplative and perhaps even ashamed... There could be a growing rift in the Marines, and from it we could see great change.. It's time for sure.. for the Marines to actually stand for the justice they preach of...

Smoker IMO could be one of the "saviors" of the Marines....
Maybe it's just me.

Although I agree with you, I don't see how he can begin trying to reform the Marines. Obviously the Higher Ups intend on doing what they please and covering events like this up. They even went as far as to kill a Shichibukai and who knows how far they will go to get rid of problematic marines. The only ones who gave any sign of dislike, like you said, were Smoker and Sengoku. The Admirals just do what they are told and follow orders. And Garp hasn't shown any real feelings toward the Higher Ups.

After this war, the Marines and Higher Ups showed their true colors and I think the Marines are a lost cause unless the Admirals are replaced. But even then, they can't go against the World Government and go rogue.

In my opinion Smoker's best chance to hand out his justice is to join the SH crew. He already knows the SH crew are not like the other pirates. They protect people and fight those pirates that do wrong.

On a side note, I found it interesting that Smoker once said he is as strong or stronger than some people higher in rank, but he chose not to get promoted. Just HOW strong is his devil fruit

But that's what many people, me included, asume. Lola's crew member mentioned that her mother is pretty great. http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/489/16/ Why else would Oda have introduced her as such? If she were just another pirate in the New World, it would not have been needed to do so.

That he is as strong or stronger than some people higher in rank does not mean he chose this situation. He said that in Alabasta after Luffy beat Crocodile, which means he talked about his Captain rank he had at this time and since he was first introduced.
The fact he refused to be seen as the man who beat Crocodile has not anything to do with this statement.

i agree with that. maybe she is the pirate captain seen in the WB alliance. she could be big mom or she could be the women in shiki's army. maybe she is dadan's daughter. at this point she could be a number of people, but one thing is for sure, she will be revealed soon enough.

I mean Magellan attacked them so that they couldnt even react..if BB was really unable to dodge it I would say Magellan > Blackbeard

i doubt it...............BB believes heavy in fate. i think he just believes it was meant for shiryuu to save them their.

on a sidenote, i am curious to see what the new BB pirate can really do. maybe one of them is a shipwright and will build BB a fearsome ship

He didn't knew about Shiryuu nor about Magellans true power, if he did, he wouldn't have run into him like that. His reactions did show that at least. He did thank him for the antidot later on.

i think smoker will get special consideration. anything below VA i dont think will more character devopment in the story(well besides tashigi, koby, and helmellpo). smoker and luffy have the same relationship as rogers and garp. i also think smoker was rank so low to began with so that oda could show his rise through the ranks how luffy is risong through the pirate ranks.

i dont think smoker will be able to chase luffy how he wants without the VA rank.

Wait a moment i'm pretty sure he can use brick bat in the sunlight and that involves using his shadow so maybe he can. If he couldn't then that would mean he's useless in the sunlight and i don't see how he could be a shichibukai then.

Doppelman is his whole shadow whereas some attacks only need a part of his shadow. That's why for the only attack Moria used at Marineford, Tsuno-Tokage, we saw him gathering some shadow to do it.

about what you said to me on the discussion thread. well we really cant tell what he ment, as far as we know he also hides a stack of shadows he prepared before hand somewhere for just this case. and i was kinda under the impression that he ment he will be able to make more zombies on the battlefield itself

We don't know if he can make (useful) zombies without Hogback working on the corpses before. I don't think he can do it for every corpse since we have seen that a zombie's body works the same way a normal body does (except for the pain) - that's why Oars could not use his body after some severe injuries.

Anyway, if he can, he would just have to give a shadow to the corpses to turn them into zombies. And we all know that Moria had stolen shadows before the war since we saw him " taking them out of his pockets " to fight Jinbei.

see? you just confirmed that shadow asgard is a possiblity and while in that mode all the power of the people he stole the shadows from transported to him, so if he has 100 shadows he has 100 men power and so on, i cant really think of him being beaten so easily. although i bet he died after a long fight and some pacifistas are bound to get destroyed in that fight. maybe even dofla got his a couple of times.
